Place is clean, lady behind the counter was nice. They no longer heat kids sandwiches when asked. They used to. The sweet tea and unsweetened tea was not made. Hadn't been made at all today. You have to look for the $5 dollar menu. Their smallest sandwich is 7.5 inches. Too big for me. read more

I have never had any issues from this location. Called the store and first and second calls I was hung up on. 3 rd I asked for manager and he was rude. says that just because it was not to my liking did not mean that ham was bad. the ham was slimy and tasted weir. I assure you there was nothing powerful about this bowl of dead green leaves. They should have named this one Dead and Disgusting or Green and Gross!!! The Spring Mix was definitely out of season. The greens were wilted and slimy; the vegetables were soft (the tomatoes and bell peppers were limp and lifeless; cucumbers soggy and discolored). When I called to address the mater, Cody answered the phone, said the manager was gone for the day and asked how could he help me. For years, various Lenny's locations had been my go to for a GOOD Chicken Salad Sandwich in Memphis. During the past three years, business travel interrupted that. This year I started a business project in the Hacks Cross / Winchester Roads area which gave me regular access to Lenny's Grill & Subs #152. On my first visit, I noticed that the Menu Board was different from my experience at other Lenny's locations, so I had to study it before placing my USUAL Chicken Salad Sandwich Combo order. When I noticed that three consecutive customers, ahead of me, ordered versions of Philly Cheese Steaks, my curiosity/skepticism was ignited; because I have enjoyed AUTHENTIC Philly Cheese Steaks in Philadelphia, PA. I rarely come to this location. I was nearby and my Son asked me to stop in. I gave it 1 Star because, l was not at all impressed with the young lady making the sandwich. Her appearance was very unsanitary to me because she had very long braids that were NOT tied back, also there was no hair net and she continued to touch her hair while cutting the meat for the sandwich. I Immediately ask for someone else to complete my order because l found that to be unsanitary and unacceptable. I'm not sure where management was but please fix this. The service is horrible! Called from my car to place the order. Watched the staff just stand by the phone drinking a soda. Didn't answer. Get out to order and she tells me I have to download the app to order. No one was in the restaurant. No one. I clarified that I must download the app to place an order and she couldn't take it. I started downloading the app. A few minutes later another staff member comes in laughing saying she wasn't as late as she thought she would be. I stood there trying to maneuver the app and she says she can take my order now. Wow, really! Again, no other customers are in the restaurant. Trying to get her to understand my order was an even bigger challenge. And when she repeated it back there were words coming out of her month but it wasn't coherent. When the order was ready I thankfully checked it. I was shorted a sandwich. The person yelled at the cook where's the the other sandwich. Cook was AJ. I ordered six sandwiches which was for a work meeting. If had not been and pressed for time I would have walked out never to return to this location. Terrible. The person that waited on me and the other lady had a mask on which were under their nose and was more concerned about talking then doing anything else. 2 nose piercing. I went to Lennys at 7:45. Chairs were stacked on the tables and the employees were sitting in the back waiting for 9:00 pm closing. I ordered to go. When I got home and began to eat my sub, the sandwich was missing mustard and only had a very thin layer of mayonaise. I was not happy with my sub. I do not recommend going to this store after 7:30. In fact, when I go back to get my free sub, I will not be patronizing this store again. Furthermore, to Yelp, It is hard to write an accurate review when you have monitors watching your length. My husband went to pick up the order and the guy looks at the ticket and states that they can't fulfill the order because they are closing (it's 6:15). I give this lennys location a zero! I was taking some items back at thw UPS next door and decided to order something to eat. I ordered online and was told that it would be ready by 4:09 ...i went in at 4:12. I was told that my food wasn't even ready yet! I didn't get my food until 4:30. Then when i get my food it wasn't right. I ordered 3 sandwiches. Two 10 inch sandwiches and one 7 inch. I ended up getting two 7 inches and one 10 inch and the sandwiches didn't even have what i asked for on them! Sign on the door says to wear a mask yet no one in there was wearing one! Whoever own this lennys better get them lil kids up out of there before they run your business to the ground. Im petty i would of been called code enforcement on y'all nasty asses. I've been to this Lenny's plenty of times but I guess they have a new untrained staff because I asked for my sandwich the deli way aka the Lenny's way and they guy at the register acted like they did not know what I was talking about. I get my sandwich and it is completely wrong. They fix it but it was still wrong and then the guy says I should've been on the phone under his breath...I did not say anything back because I was like ok I'm not about to go off about a cheap sandwich but the girl at the register understood what I asked for in the first.
