The bathroom looks Horrible, The Stall door doesn't even work right in the men's room they had to put an extra lock so it works like intended, And the sink is a jump scare machine you'll go up to it to wash your hand and it will go Ghhshhh with tons of water for half a second then grips out Water. Order #586947521 On Wednesday, May 6, I used the McAlister Deli iPhone app to place a curbside pickup order. The app was very easy to place order. However when I arrived at the deli I was using a different device. I could find my orde but had no way to check-in. I called the phone number on the email and no one answered the phone even though there were few customers in the restaurant. When I entered the restaurant I asked if anyone was working the curbside service? One lady got up from somewhere and asked me my name. She walked behind the counter and handed me my order. No apology for not brining it to the car. Instead she actually acted as if I was a problem for asking for my order. And to top all the sandwich was way below the quality I have come to expect from McAlister. read more

The king club was very filling! It is the bigger version of the club sandwich. The kids enjoyed their kids meals. The sandwiches were nice and toasty. The service was actually good. The young lady who took my order was very patient and polite. She even came back around to check on us. read more

This is a great McAlister's! We both ordered a Memphian, a side and a drink. Our Memphian was fresh, hot, piled high with meat and as we ordered. Our sides were also good. The chicken tortilla soup was hot, fresh and served with ample chips and the potato salad was good. The cashiers are always friendly and kind and will go out of their way to help. We also appreciate the cook waving to us when he sees a familiar face. If you want a comfortable atmosphere, good food, great service and a great staff, we recommend This McAlister's! McAlisters is nearby my job and I can visit often. I tried out the mobile ordering feature and it was a bit overwhelming. I knew I wanted a Choose Two, but then the conundrum is what 2 things. I decided on sandwich and spud. And ultimately narrowed it down to the Spud Max, because it wasn't an upcharge and then the spicy turkey. I decided to flex the customization optionss and chose a croissant, instead of the standard bread. And then for the heck of it, I got the cranberry spread. I also threw in a caramel cookie because "calories be dammed!" I was going to be full for hours. I was not disappointed. Oh My God. That spud was so filling. I didn't read the description, but it had so many items on it like meat, cheese, and veggies. The orange cranberry spread was the perfect coolant for my spicy turkey. And I liked the avocado too. Food piling up at the window but no one brining it out, or when the one girl who was on her phone the whole time did bring it out, she had no idea where to bring it and wandered around with one plate at a time. Extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. System is automated, then when you press 3 for a representative, it just rings until it hangs up; unacceptable. I placed an order for pick up and an item was missing, went back to tell them and the worker who helped during pickup said that item is out. The problem is, he knew they were out of that item (carrot cake) when he was packaging to the order to go upon my first arrival. Instead of saying, "Ma'am, we don't have ___, would you like another menu item?" Or can I offer a refund or a credit?" He says nothing. I only found out because I went back. Also, while trying to handle this, he attempted to take the order of the patron behind me as if my issue had been rectified; it had not. Rude. He then explained that I could substitute it for a cookie (which I didn't want) or get the refund on the app, to which I explained I didn't order through the app I ordered online. Ultimately, he was not helpful and it's almost 24 hours later and nothing has loaded to the app electronically. No one's answering the phone. Save yourself the stress and run around, and just avoid this location. Update: I went back this evening had a very different experience. Angel and Hope listened to the situation, and were very apologetic and accommodating. Completely different customer service experience. I don't know who that young man was from yesterday. They issued my refund on the spot given the circumstances, explained about the product shortage, and offered a complimentary beverage. I give credit where it's due. If these two are on shift, I'll definitely be back! read more

This restaurant has had a complete turn around. The restaurant is now clean, the employees friendly and the food is good. Everything we have ordered in our last 5 visits has looked like the picture. I've visited this location 3 times in the last month. The thing that concerns me is that all 3 times I've noticed the filthy trash can sitting next to the counter. Seems like this trash cans lid being that it's silver and very noticeable when filthy should be cleaned DAILY!!!! Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month. I don't mean to pick on just the Hacks Cross location because they are all guilty of this one crime. Portions. They are the worst when it come to putting meat in between two pieces of bread. Oh they put some meat. Not much. It's almost downright pathetic. I was at another location with a friend for dinner. He ordered a simple turkey on wheat. One half of his sandwich was almost void of meat. Being the funny guy he is, he took his plate back up to the counter, removed the top piece of bread and said: "I think you put way too much meat on here." I found the restaurant acceptable with regard to quality, but question if the chain is pricing themselves out of the market. The iced tea is great and the restaurant stays fairly clean, but for some reason they want a premiun for their sandwiches. I stopped in for a to-go lunch today. I had my punch cards for food and tea that I have been using for years. One of the gals took them and let me know they are moving to the app reward system. Even though my cards were not completely filled, she still rewarded me as if they were. She did not have to do that but was so nice about it. I've not had great service at another McAlister's close by but this was awesome. They were very busy and yet everyone was smiling and happy. Something good is going on here! We didn't make it past the line at the counter! We planned on eating there after my daughter's soccer game but, while we were standing in line, we realized there was not a single clean table in the restaurant. It was 1:40 p.m on a Saturday. Past the lunch rush. No excuse. Some of our team started bussing their own tables so they would have a place to sit. A players little 8 year old brother was even carrying dishes to the kitchen! Once the young lady brought the food to the table there was only silverware on one plate but it was 3 of us. Brought my significant other here. Ordered a bake potato and The New Yorker. Potato had about an ounce of cheese on it. I asked for more and got about a tablespoon of additional cheese. This is probably the most quiet (and clean!) of all the Mcalister's I've been to. Maybe because it's still relatively new and it sits close to a gazillion other chain restaurants on Winchester and the up and coming new restaurant developments on Hack Cross. I've been to several McAllisters. This one is dirty, the place I used had red stains, the cooks are playing around and swearing in the kitchen. Very un-professional.
