The only downside is the price, as spending ~$20 on a sandwich is never fun, but it seems like that's just about everywhere these days. However, if you're not that hungry, these sandwiches can be stretched to 2 meals to keep the cost down. A few of my favorites are the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the SSS Chopped Cheese. THEY ALSO HAVE CANNED GATORADE. IYKYK Being able to pop over to Slowdown Dry Goods next door while you wait for your food is a big plus. They always have some cool stuff to check out while you wait.

When given my bill, I was thankful I looked at it carefully. At the bottom there is a charge that says "Service Charge 20%". What is that? I asked the bartender and she said it's a tip. Then why not right "tip" instead of a "service charge?" I can only imagine how many people don't look at the bill and add a tip, which is why they do this. It's just not good business practice to try and sneak things by customers. On the other receipt that you get that you need to sign, there is a line for a "tip." so on the receipt you signed it says tip, but on the actual first bill that they gave you it says service charge. Again, they are switching around the verbiage to trick people into giving more money. This is a very slimy business practice. I can only imagine how many people write a tip on there not knowing that 20% was already added to their bill. Unfortunately, I just cannot support a business like this and won't return.

If I could give no stars I would. Granted I left a review some time last week and I really only did that to get the free drink. BUT today I got something to say. I went into this establishment to get lunch today and my experience was terrible! I was not acknowledged when I entered and it took at least 30-45 seconds for someone to say something. The big nasty bitch at the register apparently didn't want to be at work today...she starts off with a nasty and loud tone "hello ma'am give me a name for your order" now I'm always saying it's not what you say it's how you say it. I give her my name...she proceeds to ask for the spelling in the same tone that she asked me my name. So I spelled it...apparently 4 letters is hard for her to remember because she asked for the spelling that was still spelled wrong on my receipt (no big deal it's just the principle...hoe I spelled it twice for your dumb ass. I guess the nice young mane that was on duty there felt the energy and came and took over. Big Bertha said thank you because you know I don't like doing this anyways.Thank God for him because at this point my patience is running thin. I gave him my order and still couldn't get everything I wanted because they were out of regular mustard all they had was honey and spicy mustard. Cool I was ok with that I had mustard at work. So I get on my phone so I would hold my tongue because I was fina read Big Bertha her ham and cheese sandwich making ass because why you so mad? So my food is ready and Big Bertha is trying to talk to me. I'm purposely ignoring her because at this point why you still talking to me. As I ignore her she gets louder and yells out HELLLLOOOO...i'm still ignoring her. Another employee walked pass with some sense and told me that Big Bertha was wanting to speak with me. I looked up and she wanted to tell me while rolling her neck and frowning her already ugly ass face up that I didn't and any mustard or mayonnaise on my sandwich as if I didn't just tell the young man who was ok with taking my order.
