Burgers and fries are THE BOMB
    Michael B.

This classic New Rochelle Seafood and Burger Shack has been around forever! To that extent , Jay Leno worked here at his uncle's place when he was eleven years old! Yes, that Jay Leno! After an absence of years I stopped in with a date. A large group of ladies were raving about their clams as we got there and they were leaving. This isn't the Ritz but it's great eating outside on a comfortable night. The guy flipping the burgers and the waiter were great! So were the burgers and fries! Only complaint was that the corn was overcooked and soggy, excellent butter couldn't save it! We will be going back before they close for the winter!

My mom brought me and my brother here maybe 20 years ago when we were kids and I have very vivid memories of sitting at the counter with a corn on the cob absolutely swimming in butter. Well, here I am all these years later with my mom, my brothers and my brothers kids eating corn on the cob that is swimming in (much much less) butter. And it is just as wonderful of a spot as I remember. We found a picnic table outside, the waiters came by and took our order, and not long later we had all of our greasy food on paper plates and plastic baskets in front of us. We got a bucket of steamers that my mom had to teach us how to eat, a basket of fried clams, a few cheese burgers, and a few corn on the cobs. Ooooooooh baby. What a spread. Now, remember. This is a dive joint. The food is greasy and it is supposed to be. It is either also known as or used to be Greasy Nick's. It's what my mom calls it, and it fits the vibe. The steamers were great, but the process of eating them was hilariously gross. This has to be one of those IYKYK situations. But, if you like buckets of mussels, this is it's less glamorous cousin. The fries were crispy and tasty, the fried clams were delisiously crunchy and greasy and I did not try the burgers but they got the greasy thumbs up. The corn on the cob that I remember oh so fondly was not the best. A lot over cooked and too soft. But soaked in butter, everything is good. Any way, go here, bring the kids, get a Root Beer. You'll love it.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and today I finally have. I ordered the fried clams and fries, cheeseburger and corn on cob to go. I was the perfect afternoon meal. The men and their service were very good. Definitely recommend!

Fried clams! There's not many places to get fried clams and these are great! One of our favorite places to have fried food. We tried to come a few times recently, but they were closed. We just happened to drive by on Fathers Day and they were open. So we had a nice relaxing Dad's Fay meal. $15 for a huge basket of clams and fries. (We had 4 baskets around our table), a hamburger and onion rings. The burger can be made with grilled onions. So good and a bit greasy, but that's what you come here for! Be sure to bring cash.

Happy to find a true clam shack on the side of the road. Wish it were by the ocean rather than a busy street, but the clams, burger, and general vibes are all very traditional clam shack. Service is what you would expect at a quick - and - dirty in and out seafoo

Ain't nothing better than having a summer burger at Leno's. It is a tradition. And the seafood is awesome as well!

However, I was not here for the decor. I was here for the food and the drinks! And neither was a disappointment! We ordered two tequila sunrises. Initially I was taken back by the drink served in a plastic resealable bag. That drink was so good and potent- I had to order a water! I felt the drink hit me before I was even half done with it. Then I understood the resealable bag. I could take it home. Genius. The scallops for the appetizers weren't bad at all! I was impressed. But the kicker was the boils. My date had a combo with snow crab. I on the other hand ordered the crab du jour, 2 lobster tails, 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb clams, sausage, potato and two corns in medium spice with old bay. Suffice it to say I didn't realize the sheer seriousness of my order. Yes, I took it home and went in deep once again. I have no complaints. The food was awesome. The drinks were generous, the waitress was on point. Definitely will be heading back!

The lobster tail was okay but it was small. The sausages didn't look cooked so I picked them out and put them in a skillet and browned them. I asked for no garlic and the sauce had so much garlic I had to strain it out. I ended up trying to make my own sauce to make it better but why should I when I already paid for sauce? I won't be going back though. I've eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed it but not this time.

Our waitress, Chiara, was joyful and attentive and helped us with our choices. I started with the clam chowder, followed by the chicken parm over penne. My wife opted for the mussels and washed it down with a salad. Everything was yummy. My wife said that the mussels were the meatiest she's ever had. As for me, my chicken parm was the epitome of 'comfort food.' And by that, I mean it came covered with cheese and sauce and looked like something out of a Star Trek episode ... but it was delicious, and the leftovers came home for a second meal :) One of the other reviews referred to the Marina View as a 'hidden treasure', and that's kinda true as it's off the beaten path. It's not on Main St. It's down by the water and worth the trip. Highly recommended. PS: We may go back for Elvis night!

Whether you're in the mood for crab legs, shrimp, clams, salmon, scallops, porgie fish, whiting fish, red snapper fish, or even king fish, this place has it all. You can pair your steamed fish entree with either veggies (they have; broccoli, carrots, potato, okra, pumpkin, spinach, corn, string beans, and mushrooms to choose from all bagged up) or yellow rice. Other side orders includes: French fries, crab sticks, crab cake, fruit salad, calamari, veggie salad, or seafood salad. Even if you're not in the mood for steamed seafood, they also have a fried fish option which is served with either yellow rice or French fries. So how it works is that you pick up a basket and select what type of seafood you would like to either be steamed or fried along with any combination of vegetables. After, you hand your basket to one of the workers that will begin to first, 1. Wash your seafood and vegetables and then 2. season your food. I usually tell them to put all of their seasonings and make it EXTRA spicy. Please let them know of any known allergies! Next, they will put it in a steamer and give you your ticket number (do not lose it). This process takes about 25-30 minutes depending on how busy it is inside and what type of seafood you selected. They also accepts EBT and has an ATM available. However, you may use a card as a form of payment. Pros: 1. Great location and reasonable price 2. Food is always tasty and consistent 3. They have a large selection of seafood 4. They have somewhere where you can sit and wait for your food if you choose to do that 5. You select your own seafood and vegetables 6. You can always call ahead and place a order for pick up. Cons: 1. When it is busy, it is busy and the wait time is usually longer 2. Most times there are no street parking 3. They are not open 24hrs Tip: *Tell them to leave the juice and add butter* just like that!

He Immediately came over with glasses of water, garlic bread, cheese and olive tapas, a house salad, and napkins. Tried the broiled fisherman's combo: shrimp, scallops, fish fillet, mussels, stuffed clams, lobster tail, and a side, I opted for linguini with garlic aioli. Everything was cooked very well and the presentation amazing and beautiful. Now here's something you don't see every day; an actual stuffed clam where the clam is still partially attached to the shell! None of that surimi crap! Finished the meal with a double espresso, shared a tartufo and cheese cake. I don't know if the digestif was complementary, but it was a nice touch. I don't know how the kitchen keeps up with the orders. The waitstaff must put a few miles on their feet a day and a cardio workout carrying the trays overflowing with food. Amazing! Everything in the restaurant is kept neat, clean, and organized. The music is not overwhelming. You can hear each other at the table. When the weather is a little nicer, they have beautiful outdoor seating with views of Long Island sound. It is very romantic, when the sun is setting, you can imagine yourself being somewhere exotic and far away. As the song goes; "Sometimes you don't know what you got till it's gone."
