I on the other hand ordered the crab du jour, 2 lobster tails, 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb clams, sausage, potato and two corns in medium spice with old bay. The food itself was well packaged and flavorful. However, it's very apparent that they use a mix of real lobster and imitation lobster for the roll. It seems that the ends of the roll are real lobster as the claw meat is obvious and the texture is much different. The meat in the center has a much different texture and firmness, and the taste is also much different. I did also get the crab fries and those were delicious as well as the crab cake! Beat seafood restaurant the boil bags seasoning are always good. They fill the bags with seafood not like other places that skimp your bag with 5 shrimps and the smallest crab legs. The vibe is always good here the music is loud the games is always on different sports. I have seen women college softball, basketball and football. He was pleasant and kind with suggestions. More waiting...... still no water.....The food arrived and it was delicious, No utensils we had to ask for utensils, we had to ask for water, and finally we had to ask for the thing that you use to crack the crab legs. Somebody knows the name of that. Tell me what that is. Let me say, say pack your patience. The food will be good, but the service might not be. My first experience there in 2022 was amazing, and I frequented here many times afterward. My last experience with the same staff was terrible. The last time I was there was April 2023, and that is the LAST TIME I'll ever go there. The service was such Trash! Tajah, our server, and allegedly, the manager was more concerned, with entertaining her friends, inquiring about a Marijuana smoke break rather than attending to customers. We waited so long for our food it was ridiculous. An order of oysters took almost an hour to come out. Then, when we said we didn't want them the server/manager said she couldn't take them off the bill. Miraculously the oysters came out almost immediately after waiting almost an hour. What a horrible experience!!! Ordered the catch special for $55. Received a boil bag with very little Cajun seasoning in it, but drenched in a pool of greasy oil. I asked to speak to a manger and she came over to explain that it was oily because it was hot and that it would be less oily when it cools. Either way I told her I prefer not to have a pool of oil inside of my stomach. She said she would advise the kitchen of my feedback for the future. I told he that's not helping me tonight and asked for her boss. I was introduced to the owner whose name is Steve. After explaining the same thing to him he angrily snatched the boil bag off the table and stomped into the kitchen never to return. Worst customer service ever, especially coming from an owner. He failed to apologize for my dissatisfaction or offer any resolution. After complaining again to the waitress (who by the way was the only amazing thing about that restaurant), she explained that the item would be removed from my bill. This is the second time I've been here and I will continue coming here for the foreseeable future. On this visit I was having a lunch date with my grandmother. We both love seafood. The burger sat on red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, on top of the was the cheeseburger, 3 large shrimp and the du jour sauce. Thus burger was simply phenomenal. What's more is the place is very affordable. On my pervious visit (as you'll see in the pictures after the menu) I had the Crab Meat Fries. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this lol. The fries was loaded with fresh crab meat and du jour sauce. Every fry I picked up had crab meat on it. Also had the Fried Chicken Sliders w/ Sweet Potato Fries. The sliders were a mouth full and the chicken was so crispy and well seasoned (no extra salt needed) My mom had the Fried Shrimp Po'Boy. Now that roll was beautiful to look at 6-7 larger Fried shrimp on a bed a lettuce and topped with the du jour sauce. To whom it may concern I had dinner with two family members at the Pelham, NY location today, 10/10/2023. I ordered the garlic butter noodles with shrimp and could not eat it. The noodles were over cooked and there was an excessive amount of garlic butter. I informed the server when she returned to check on us. I wasn't offered a replacement meal or the option to order something else. When the bill arrived I asked for the meal to be removed. The server left momentarily and returned to the table telling me that the person in charge would not remove the item and would make her pay for it. Unacceptable. I asked for a manager but instead of a manager another young lady came to the table saying that they guy in charge, who she identified as "the face of the restaurant" would only offer a 50% off discount. Said person refused to come to the table to speak to me. Unprofessional. Never have I ever been to a restaurant where the meal was unsatisfactory yet I was expected to pay 1/2 or the the server would have to pay for it. What type of policy is that? We came here during happy hour and the food was good. I'm used crab boils with a more thicker consistency for sauce but this one was still good, it could be better. My cousins had the wings and loved them, our waiter told us not to get the cajun fries and stick to the regulars and we are glad we listened to him. The drinks were extra strong too and discounted since it was happy hour.
