Marina · I had the worst experience in my life having MRI at the Brooklyn site Bay Parkway. July 28, 2:15 appointment. I was in a waiting room for 2 and a half hours. When I came to receptionists asking how long I was suppused to wait, they all with stone faces, not even saying, sorry, answered, delays. Receptionists are very cold and unfriendly. Finally, I asked for supervisor, who at least said they apologized, and I will have service soon. I would never come there again. Receptionist were not nice at all. Terrible place. Extremely unprofessional experience at the 6010 Bay Parkway Location. The Staff in the front does not even acknowledge or greet anyone walking in to thier facility. I had an appt scheduled for a Cat Scan. Had to prep for it 1 hour before my scheduled appointment time, and took the morning off from work! After waiting about 1 hour and seeing everyone get called except for me, I approached the desk to ask how much longer this would take, only to be told by LUCY that the technician was NOT there today and was at the other location, however I could NOT go to the other location to complete my test because the technician was fully booked. I suppose it took them this long to figure the tech was not there? Why not call to cancel my appointment, OR advise me when I walked in for my appointment. I went to OPTUM on 13th Avenue and had everything done within 10 minutes of walking in. Not ever going back to Lenox hill, and neither are my family or friends. read more

Yesterday I had an MRI of the brain and X-rays of my knees. The man an woman who performed the MRI were very professional and caring. They did everything to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible under this procedure's trying circumstances. As for the X-rays of the knees which was performed first, I had the X-ray technician Christine. She is a wonderful person who is very down to earth and extremely pleasant to be around and talk with. She is very personable and shows her care for her patients. She is very professional in her job, meticulously positioning one for the exact perfect view for the machine. I enjoyed being around her and felt she was actually someone I had known for a long time ! Her combination of caring and charm makes her an invaluable employee of LH Bay Parkway. read more

I am not sure what is going on at Lenox Hill Radiology on Brooklyn Avenue or Bond St. perhaps it's all of them now. I can't seem to get anything done. They ask you a million questions over the phone only to tell you when you get there, what you need can't be done. I have taken off twice from work only for a get to an appointment and then for them to tell me , " oh we can't do that here ". It's laziness. Did no one know when they were asking me about the things that I said I was allergic to would interfere with me getting a contrast CT scan before booking the appointment? Did the Technician not check ahead of time to see what I was allergic to before my appointment and not after? My appointment at Brooklyn Ave was 8:05am. Why was the Technician just checking my chart at 8:18 am. Why was there only one receptionists working at 8:18am when there were already a good amount of people there with appointments. The other receptionists was there, I saw here walking around. She wasn't at the desk. I am so disgusted. Bond St. facility the same thing. They scheduled me for a MRI only to tell me when I get there they don't do it at that facility. Two days of work missed because of irresponsible and uninformed staff. I am so disgusted. The best thing you might can get there is a mammogram and at this rate I am not sure I would get that done there. At one time I would have recommended this place. Terrible front desk service. My mother arrived on time for her appointment via scheduled car from the facility. When she arrived she was informed she did not have an appointment scheduled and to go to their 79th Street office. My mother is in crutches and cannot walk. She went to the new location only to be told to return to 6010 Bay Parkway because that is where she is scheduled. Disorganized and rude. When my mother asked them to checked a second time to make sure they turned her away. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The way they treat their patients is terrible. I called the next day and they told me the appointments we need to reschedul our appointments because the original ones were cancelled. I told them we did not cancel our appointments and to please remove us from their contacts because we will not be using them. read more

It's sad. I was already in the building for a doctor's appointment and decided to walk into this Lenox Hill location to schedule a sonogram. However, the four people at the front desks were too busy joking with each other to acknowledge me. I stood there for ten minutes before anyone said anything, and even then, they seemed bothered by my presence. The office was empty, which made it even more frustrating. Eventually, I walked out, frustrated. The reception staff were rude, inconsiderate, and oblivious to their patients' needs and care. read more

It was a nightmare to visit facility of Bensonhurst Lenox Hill Radiology, located at 2215 79th street! Avoid ever using the services and making appointments at this branch. Today I was refused to get the procedure, which I had been waiting for 2 months, because I came an hour late. I apologized and explained that felt bad in the morning, I am 60 plus, and that's why I came late. I asked them to allow me to get a test today, but girls at front desk immediately declined it and told I have to reschedule appointment and wait another 2 months! Office was empty at a time, I entered facility, but they refused to help me anyway. I asked them to bring a manager, but they told that manager will not allow me to do that. An hour later I came back to the Lenox Hill located at 2215 79th street, and it turned out that the manager was one of the girls at the front desk! Previously they lied me, they refused to call a manager, who was sitting right there, on the front desk! One of the girls was a manager! I begged and pleaded with her to help but no amount of pleading, my age or my medical problems helped. I was deprived of a procedure, I was not favored! This happened for the first time in my life! The manager refused to tell me her last name, she called herself Gabrielle, when I demanded that she owed me her last name she said 'I don't care, I don't owe you anything!' I felt so offended today! I did not deserve such and attitude from young ladies 3 times older than I am, who decided to reject my procedure because they don't like me! I consider today's case as Discrimination and Humiliation by the so-called manager Gabrielle. And I want to warn everyone: the employees of this office have a biased attitude towards patients! They are using their power and impunity they can discriminate against you, humiliate you, and deprive you of medical care! Please never seek help from Radiology at 2215 79th Street, they have arrogant, soulless clerks who demean patients. I ask supervisors to pay attention to the behavior and unacceptable neglect of manager Gabriel towards patients in an office Bensonhurst Radiology at 2215 79th Street, that already has very low ratings on Yelp and is known for unacceptably poor quality of work. read more

Came back for my follow up sonogram. The lady at the front desk - a Russian lady - checked me in and after waiting 20 mins, the other lady at the front desk called me and asked me for my referral. The Russian lady had never completed my check in even after I was waiting for 20 mins. Ok, so she gets the referral and I paid the copay to wait some more. After waiting for another hour and 25 mins more. They said I wasn't schedule to come back for another 3 months. NO ONE should ever go to that place. My 86-year-old husband had a CT scan of his BRAIN done there on a Thursday. The technician was a gem and when we asked him when we'd get the results, he said, "Tomorrow." It is the following Wednesday already and when I called to find out why our doctor STILL didn't get their results, they claimed, "He didn't write STAT on the referral." Are they crazy? I'm not sure, but I wouldn't recommend them even for my pet! AND although I was told over the phone that I could walk in to that facility located at 6010 Bay Parkway in Brooklyn for a simple x-ray of my feet ordered by my podiatrist, which I planned to do when I took my husband for his CT scan, when I arrived they had placed a sign near the sign-in page: We No Longer Do Walk-in X-rays. The people there must have been trained in a third-world country. Stay away. read more

We have a relatively new facility in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. My husband went for testing April 2024. No wait time, staff was spot-on & very professional & caring. Took great care of him from the minute he walked in the door. I had to call them yesterday with general inquiries for myself, they actually answered the phone (unlike other diagnostic facilities in Bay Ridge who don't do much at all), & this was at 615pm. Answered my questions, gave me the correct phone number to call to make my appointments (never get that anywhere else either, the other places make you do their work) & thanked me for calling. So pleasant & professional. That's what all patients deserve, professionalism vs aggravation. I'm so glad our cardiologist recommended them. I will follow-up after my daughter & I go for our testing. read more

I tried calling to makean appointment for a mammogram and breast sonogram. was placed on hold for 45 minutes with noone picking up the phone. so I drove over to try to make an appointment in person since my doctor. had faxed them my prescriptions. I was told to sign in (just to try to schedule an appointment. there were 2names before mine. after sitting for 20 minutes neither of the 2names opabove me had been called at which point I left. obviously it is a very poorly run office. if there even is an administrator they do not know how to run an office. Beware of this place!!!! Overcharging!! I have been referred by my in network physician to PDR on March 2021. I called for an appointment and they said they accept Healthfirst and my plan copayment is only $25. I went to this office on 3/17/21 and have my ultrasound done. After 6 months, they sent me the bill is $440 because Healthfirst didn't pay for these services. I called Healthfirst and got informed that PDR was out of network of Healthfirst since 1/1/2021. But Healthfirst has already paid my 3/17/21 services on 6/2/2021 and patient is no responsibility. I also can check my EOB under my Healthfirst account. After that I called PDR billing department to confirm this. The lady still keep saying they are in network of Healthfirst and she will file the review case for me and it will take around 15days. After 15days now, Healthfirst called me that PDR does not admit they have received the payment from Healthfirst and keep charging me the bill $440. Healthfirst told me that they will follow up my case with PDR in another 15days. Another 15days later, Healthfirst follow up my case with PDR billing department. But the answer is still they won't remove the bill from my account and they will send my account to debt collection. I am also 10+ years experience billing, I haven't seen an office ridiculous like this. They deceived patient they are in network, defrauded insurance, and overcharged patient. I would strongly advise everyone think one more time before you go to this radiology. Don't be a next victim!!!! read more

The absolute worst most incompetent, careless staff ever. I went there because it as close to home but I would have preferred to travel out of town to just to avoid this office. Shame on these employees and the healthcare workers who recommend their services. BTW, they collected a copay and did not perform the MRI. BEWARE OF OVERBILLING or TWICE BILLING here if you've used their services. I paid $103 around the time of service (insurance took care of the rest). Seven months later, they sent me a bill for $103. I obviously didn't remember that I had paid it before so I just paid it again. Fast forward to now, more than a year from service and about 8 months from when I paid the second $103, I was just going through old emails in my gmail deleting stuff and I discovered that I had paid $103 twice for the same service. I contacted their customer service and although the lady was on the rude side and sounded like she hated her job, she put my complaint through and I ended up receiving a refund of $100, not $103 from their parent company. They shorted me $3. Whatever. I'll take it. But had I not, by chance, discovered the error, that's $100 that woulda gone bye-bye! read more

Although mammogram was performed OK, I do have a billing issue. The billing department keeps sending me a bill as a charge for my deductible. As per my insurance policy, I do not have a deductible. This was explained by my insurance numerous times to a PDR billing department representative in 3-way telephone conversation. My EOB for the same date of service also states the same. The issue was seemingly resolved as of 10/27/2021. Yet, PDR has billed my insurance once again for the same service and sent me a bill. This double billing practice is not acceptable. I feel compelled to file a complaint with appropriate authorities. read more

I was at their facility on Bay Parkway just yesterday for a mammogram. The waiting area is clean, and COVID protocols are still in place, like mask requirements, hand sanitizer, and clear partitions between the many seats. They had texted me my pre-registration forms earlier in the day, so filling them out before I came was very convenient and a timesaver. I waited perhaps 20 minutes after signing in, and then was called into the Radiology area. Everything is exceptionally clean, with individual digital lockers for your valuables, and seating. As there were two ladies before me, I did have to wait awhile, but the procedure went well. I must give a special thanks out to the radiologist, Susan, who was very kind and generous with her time and expertise with my films. She made me feel more than comfortable, and I consider that a big plus. That certainly made me decide to return to Pinnacle going forward. read more

I first went here about 2 years ago for an MRI. The technician did a poor job and I had to go back. This time my doctor asked for a specific tech to do the work. This time I had to wait 3 hours. Today I went in for a 4PM sonogram appointment. I arrived at 410 bc of traffic, and waited while the person in front of me figured out how to sign in. I signed in for 415. After waiting 10 minutes, them calling me up and taking my copay, and waiting another 10 minutes they called me up again to inform me the technician goes home at 4 and had left. I asked how the tech leaves at 4 yet they schedule 4PM appointments. I asked why I was not called to inform me. Never again will I go to this place and I recommend you stay away as well. read more

Not happy with this place! My husband had an appointment for a cat scan, called hours before to inform no authorization. Never called back when authorized. When you call to make appointment, you hold on the line for hours before someone takes your call. Here today for 1 pm appointment for same cat scan. We had to be here an hour early. My Dr. referred me to take Mammogram, but the front desk girl telling me that you have to take the Ultrasound also. A referral is from the Dr. I don't think the receptionist can push the patients to do something else. After mammograms, of course, they will tell you that the X-ray is not clear, you need to take the ultrasound also. they push for more business. But, that will scare the patient. I do not recommend this PDR to my family and friends. read more
