I came in to get my glasses (already many issues back-and-forth to get these glasses. ) Finally have the glasses updated with new lenses because they sold me plastic instead of glass with out me knowing and now the lady says she can't give me my glasses! that I already fully paid for! Because there's no doctor present, literally in the text from the store it says "come pick up your glasses anytime. See you soon" and here I am and now! I won't have glasses all week for work so that's great thanks LensCrafters you suck. read more

Purchased my glasses from this location about 2 years ago. This past month, the pads on the bridge came off leaving exposed metal. I took them back to the store and they repaired them in about 5 minutes - for free. The staff was polite and friendly. The original sale was made on availability and price. The repeat sale will be made because of their great service when I needed it the most. read more

Absolutely the worst eye glass store I have ever been to! Unable to run store professionally bc they do not listen. They told me the have no ability to email me my prescription! UNBELIEVABLE! The lady who assists with glasses mumbles and has an accent you cannot understand her at all, in addition she originally said they didn't take our insurance resulting in having to make two trips to the store. She moves at a snails pace. They need new people up front helping customers - it shouldn't take almost an hour to have your simple/very common insurance verified. Don't go to this store! read more

I purchased my glasses from a LensCrafter location that is no longer in business and had a damaged my glasses in an accident. I brought the glasses to this location expecting to be told that my frames had to be replaced. The person at this store looked at my glasses and said that he could fix them, and a few minutes later he told me to try them on. They were fixed and when I asked him how much I owed him, he said no charge. We currently live in a society where customer service is dying a slow death, but not at this location. I encourage customers to give this location their business. I wish I had asked this gentleman for his name so I could recommend him. read more

was the first appointment of the day, the doctor didn't show up to work until 20 minutes after my appointment started so sat around waiting. Staff is rude, not at all friendly and they don't have a bathroom so make sure you go before your appointment or your out of luck. read more

If there could only be a choice for 0 stars. I have always thought something was fishy about this location but i continued to pay out $1000's of dollars for glasses. I recently changed insurance and as usual they said they did not take my insurance. I filed myself and after 6 weeks of no response from my insurance company, I called and found out that Lens Crafters had filed for the same claim and amount, and a check had been issued. They have not refunded me over $600 they owe me. Insurance fraud is a felony. read more

I called and emailed them no REPONSE on the status of my glasses!!!! I am not a customer at this location but will come back here for my next eye exam because of the following: I had a contact rip while at work near here. I immediately went to another eye center across the street with one eye closed and basically was told I could not be helped because they didn't have my prescription or contacts. On top of that I would have had to purchase an entire box. I found LensCrafters in North Point mall beside Macy's and within 5 minutes I had a contact in my eye and could see. They even called my current dr for me to confirm the prescription with no hassle! Thank you LensCrafters! read more

I have gone to this optometrist over the last several years. It's always been fine, just routine eye exams. Today, 1-29-19, I awoke with a very irritated eye, I think I may have a scratched cornea. I called at 9:30, shortly before they opened, asking if I could get in to be seen. By 12:48 I had not even received the courtesy of a return call. I called again and was told that "due to the weather" they "doctor" wasn't in. Sure, there's some precipitation predicted, which as of this morning was downgraded by local weather forecasters. It is not raining, it is not snowing. It is a bit chilly and cloudy. But the doctor could not come in for work. (Typical Georgia excuse.) So....my call did not even warrant a return call to tell me the optometrist was not going to be in? A client advises they have a medical issue, and are in a lot of pain, and they are ignored? Sometimes I'm just astounded by the medical profession. I think I will start looking for another optometrist. read more

Was told it would take an hour for my repair. An hour and a 45 min later I sat for 25 minutes without one person coming up to help more and even apologize for the wait. Am I invisible? This is why people put off stuff like this. They don't want to lose their whole day! Finally I went up to who I assumed was the manager and my glasses were sitting there ready THE WHOLE TIME. The lady that served me was 2 ft away from me and completely acted like I was invisible, along with every other employee that was there when I came in the first time. (This is a very small store...) The only pro was the manager tried to apologize insensirely and offered free glass cleaner... So frustrated. My day is shot now. read more

I would rate no stars for this Lens Crafters, and after my recent experience, I will never choose Lens Crafters again. I was assured, now that they do not make same day eye glasses, that I would receive my eye glasses in 7-10 days ('could be earlier!'). I am now in my second week being told they were lost in shipment and they re-ordered them. SO.... more like 20 days? I also have received horrible customer service. Came in just to get my glasses tighten. Was asked to leave them 20 minutes so the manager could look at them as the screws seemed to be stripped. I left for 20 minutes to give the manager more time to finish what she was busy with and have some time to look at them. I cam back after 20 minutes. My glasses were still laying on the counter untouched and not even looked at. In my opinion 20 minutes is more than enough time to pick up my glasses to see if the screw was stripped. I couldn't waste any more time at Lens Crafters. But I left and was not happy. read more

Under no circumstances come to this location. Their computers are not connected to the national network, and your data will be lost. After spending over an hour with them trying to get my prescription from another store, only then did they tell me that they could not have the glasses I asked for within the day. They wanted me to wait weeks. You honestly can't pay more for glasses than at LenseCrafters, so you expect something more than fumbling service. NorthPoint mall is becoming a ghost town. Their Avalon location is just down the road. I'll give it a shot then write a review. read more

I have been going to this location for over ten years. The Optometrist staff is excellent. I have never had a problem with a bad exam or poor prescription. That said, the Lenscrafters optician shop next door has a mixed review. The staff seems a little slow to get to people, they do a great job when they finally get to you, just always are short staffed when I am there. The company itself seems to be pricing themselves out of the market. I paid over $1,200 for 2 pair of glasses, not even designer high priced frames, just a single vision set and a multi-focal set. The high price along with a very CHEAP policy of not giving you anything more than 6 individual eye wipes after spending so much money infuriates me! This company needs to at least show some appreciation to their customers by providing a bottle of lens cleaner or a box of lens wipes with each pair of glasses. I will be trying an on line provider next, it looks like I can get the same type of prescriptions for less than half of what Lenscrafter's charges. That way I can afford to buy my own lens wipes! read more

Please do not get an eye exam with this location. The staff is unprofessional, disrespectful, catty, and lazy. Neither the doctor or technicians would listen to my concerns, and simply wanted to rush me through the exam and take my money. They did not explain the purpose of the tests they were doing. They whispered among each other constantly and would go into a different room to talk and laugh with the door closed. It simply looks terribly sketchy and unprofessional. Also, they tried to reject my vision insurance! And forget them even looking over my medical chart. I wasn't required to fill out any paperwork until AFTER the exam. Here, you're just a number and a dollar sign. There are definitely better optometrists in Alpharetta. read more
