We typically go with America's Best for glasses but since hubby and I are new to the area and have vision insurance now, which we did not have before, we decided to try something different when we went for our eye exams this year. Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here. read more

I have passed this eye doctor a zillion times but never stopped in. I called to inquire about an eye exam as well as a contact lens exam. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that $110 without insurance would get me both exams. The Dr is not in on Wednesdays so I chose a Saturday morning appointment. This location is next door to UPS store and Baskin Robbins. You can see it off the street clearly. It's in the same shopping plaza as Chipotle and Sprouts. The parking is free and plentiful. I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. This place doesn't deserve a star. My husband brought in a pair of Gucci rimless frames that needed the lenses put back into them. The "owner" took the frames and lenses and proceeded to tell us how badly the lenses were damaged but he could fix them. He told my husband and I to give him 20 minutes and he'd have them ready. When my husband picked the glasses up he hadn't noticed until I pointed it out that the arm of the glasses were broken. He didn't charge for the service because he had broken them. We immediately took them back and confronted this person that blatantly lied and swore on his life that they were that way already which made no sense considering he never pointed out the arm was broken only that the lenses could stand to be replaced. He over talked me and called me a liar saying he did us a favor when we never asked him to do it for free. He continued to yell and tell me how he's been there 30+ years and that he again "did us a favor". I would never have risked my reputation after 30 something years for something I had done wrong. I've never had such an experience. He didn't offer to replace them or anything just deny deny deny everything. It was disgusting and frankly I was ready to act up but at the end of the day he may stay in business but people need to know where they are spending their money. Another piece of shit business. Absolutely the nicest people. I was in a huge hurry; both pairs of glasses had broken in a two-day period in the worst possible time. I looked them up online because they were close, called in and explained the situation and they invited me right in. I came in with glasses I didn't even buy there, having never shopped their previously, and Edward Kleinman very courteously took my glasses, assured me it was an easy fix and said they would be ready in a couple of minutes. He wasn't exaggerating. About two minutes later, he fixed the botched attempt I'd tried on one of them, replaced both nose guards and screws, and also replaced the screw on my other frame, then refused to let me pay him for his work. I decided to try this place after getting turned off by the hard-sell treatment from 2 other eye care businesses. I was braced for the worst, because the word "Optique" put me in the mind of "boutique", as in boutique prices. I couldn't have been more wrong. Eddie, the owner, works with clients to get as much out of their Optical insurance as possible. After years of being told I would have to pay hundreds out of pocket for my progressive glasses (by nearby Roswell Eye Center as well as America's Best and For Eyes) on TOP of what my insurance pays, he helped me select a Coach designer frame, with progressive lenses and no out of pocket! This man really cares about seeing his clients SAVE money rather than squeezing more out of them. Service like this may earn him less up front but builds loyalty; that earns far more for him in the long run, both monetarily and in terms of personal and business integrity. My entire family goes here now, and I can't recommend this business highly enough. The on site optometrist, Dr. Julia Bond, is also excellent and she is really sweet, too. read more
