After speaking to several friends about their experience with their LASIK surgery and how happy they were with it, I decided to take the plunge, and am soooo glad I did! I decided to go with mono focal surgery and have one eye done for close vision and my dominant eye done for distance vision. I had tried it before with contacts and had no problems with it, my brain works it out and I don't notice any difference unless I cover one eye. I had the surgery 2 days ago and am already seeing things better than I have in a long time! Dr. Wild was super patient with me, taking his time to answer all my questions, explain the procedure and what to expect, even what could be done later if I didn't like the mono vision. Dr. Smith was great, explaining what was going to happen during surgery and even telling me what was going on during the surgery. He and the tech made sure I was comfortable and had enough numbing drops in my eyes that I couldn't feel anything that was happening. All of the staff from the girls that checked me in at the front, to the techs that helped me through each process were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They put my mind at ease about having surgery on my eyes. I was referred to LASIK Plus in Duluth by a friend who had his surgery done there over 10 years ago and will be highly recommending the Duluth location and their staff to everyone I speak to about My LASIK surgery!!

When I initially walked inside, I was immediately impressed. I was greeted by multiple people at the front desk, and I appreciated their use of technology in allowing me to confirm my information and sign the acknowledgment forms on a computer screen. April, the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), took me to the examination room, and performed visual acuity tests. She also used the Optical coherence tomography (OCT) to take images of the retina or back of the eye. I valued the way she took the time to explain each step in the process. Afterwards, Dr. Flanagan, the optometrist, came into the room and finished the eye exam. She was professional as well as personable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. The next step in the process was sitting down with Chad, the optician, to review eyewear options and select frames. When I had questions about the charges, and what my benefits covered, he provided all of the details related to the frames, the lenses, and all of the various options. The final step in the process was checking out and providing payment. Yolanda, the front desk manager, was friendly, and she offered me the opportunity of scheduling my next appointment before I departed. After leaving the clinic, I received emails with a post visit survey, as well as a reminder of my next appointment date. I would definitely recommend the Roswell eye clinic to others, and I look forward to my future visits.

I was told thanks no problem and they understood. The said just call and they would schedule the surgery over the phone since I had completed the preliminary steps. 3 weeks later I was clear to schedule. Phoned the number I was given was not answered but I left a message as directed. 1 week went by and no call. I phoned again, no answer but directed to the message center. Left another detailed message. 4 days later , no call. I called the office direct and spoke to someone who said she didn't schedule the surgery but would transfer the call to a lady who could handle that. After a couple of rings, no answer message machine. Left another message. To day is December 25. Still no return call. I completed my second eye surgery with Atlanta Ophthalmology associates. Last week. Surgery was fantastic. Very professional and not an assembly line practice. Thank you Wolfson for being so incompetent and allowing me to find the best eye surgeon in Atlanta. Still waiting by the way.

Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that $110 without insurance would get me both exams. The Dr is not in on Wednesdays so I chose a Saturday morning appointment. This location is next door to UPS store and Baskin Robbins. You can see it off the street clearly. It's in the same shopping plaza as Chipotle and Sprouts. The parking is free and plentiful. I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. The level of care is superb!
