I brought my son in for an eye exam. He is a catcher in baseball and has been having some trouble picking up the ball until it gets closer at times. I came to this location for my exam and my wife did as well. It is a nice location with nice areas, clean rooms, up to date equipment, good doctors, and a wide selection of frames. We came in, waited a beat, got taken back and went through the exam. Then the doctor took the time to explain what the results were. Not just gave them to us... he explained them and made sure we understood... a rarity in our world of physician care these days. We selected frames and went through the process in short order... The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly in every aspect, from taking my appointment over the phone to checking me in/out, the eye exam, and helping me find my new glasses. Very knowledgeable staff, answered all of my questions, and guided me every step of the way. Dr. Dicus was amazing, very comforting and professional. She took the time to explain the process and results of my exam in a very logical manner, I never felt rushed. After having very poor eye exam experiences somewhere else, it was a very pleasant surprise to see how smooth the process could be with the right optometrist. I went in for an eye examination over two weeks ago and ordered my rx glasses . I didn't receive a call or heard anything from them . Called them today and was told they didn't order the lenses . Went here for my last eye doctor visit. Eyes aren't what they used to be. Dr Ares and nurse Lori(?) were very good, patient and informative. Listened and made recommendations. Asked if I wanted to look in the shop, and I did while waiting for eye drops to take effect. Was not impressed there, a little too presumptuous, and pushing the extras on the glasses and lenses. Overall though, I recommend Dr Ares and the location for the doctor visit! read more

I love this place! They have awesome customer service and really have taken care of my needs. They also have a beautiful selection of designer frames that you don't see everywhere. From Prada, to Gucci to Ted Bakers...and the list goes on! Ken does an amazing job of finding new products and there always seems to be something new when I visit. I also see some of the eye doctors roaming the floor building great rapport with their clients. My most favorite part about my experience has been working with Beverly and Christian and Ken! These guys really make it worth the visit! I have been so pleased with the assistance they have provided me as I am a picky and indecisive buyer but they don't get frustrated with me like some places would. I have been a regular patient here since 1st grade. I've been through an office location move and some staff changes, but my doctor has been the same guy for around 30 years. They keep up with technology and have a friendly staff. I've never been treated rudely, nor have I been hung up on when calling. As a previous construction/trade worker, I had two instances where I had a minor eye injury (and will always wear safety goggles going forward). Both times, I was worked into the schedule and promptly treated on the same day. I've never had any billing problems. I have been put on hold before when calling, but that's normal for any office environment such as this. My own personal experience is that this is the best around and I don't plan on changing anytime soon. read more

Excellent customer service from Leigh! She is wonderful, so nice, and clearly knows what she's doing, as she resolved a very confusing issue with my husband's glasses order caused by a previous optician who is no longer there. The problem had been going on since last fall and we had almost given up trying to resolve it, but Leigh figured out the mix up between two pairs of glasses with new lenses using one old rimless titanium frame and one new frame, corrected the order, and when the glasses came in, she quickly and efficiently fit the new frames and adjusted the old ones. We're glad we gave Alpharetta Eye Clinic one more try! read more

I've been coming here since 1999 and they still remain a great optometrist. Dr. Lundy is great! A genuine great guy and excellent optometrist. I never have to wait to be seen and can usually can get an appointment within a week. They have a wide, albeit expensive, variety of frames! Definitely a Dr. Lundy fan! read more

Needing an emergency repair on my glasses, I felt sure my Saturday was not going to be fun. I stopped in here praying for good luck but expecting to drop them off. Little did I know that they were going to fix me up while I waited! The staff was professional and courteous and could not have been more accomodating. My glasses were repaired in about 15 minutes, and they told me to get my sunglasses out of the car so they could make sure all frames were tight. Proactive customer service is tough to find today, but I found it here. You'll be happy you gave them a try! read more

The first time I visited them 2 years ago, I was charged twice for eye exam. Had to return to the clinic to have that reversed. Giving them benefit of doubt, I returned end of last year for eye exam and had another billing issue early this year. Phone calls were not returned, had VSP help me work with this clinic but calls from VSP were not returned too. Took a while before they finally fix the problem. read more

Worst service I have reviewed in a long time. Everytime I call either I am put on hold, or hung up on, or told they will call back. And By the way they never call back. It's a shame because the office is at a good location for me to easily stop by. I will be moving my families business elsewhere and I recommend those who value their time not waste it at this eye place. read more

At 52 years of age, this is my first time wearing glasses, and I not sure what I should expect. But, I know great when I experience it. I arrived early and was seen at my appointed time, so no problem there. My uncorrected vision is 20/25, and I can read just fine without reading glasses. During the exam, as I was being asked if "1 was better than 2" and so on, nothing was ever crystal clear. Now, I have been placed in progressives. My vision is better without my glasses up to about 10 feet. I have gone back to tweak the prescription once and I am going back in today because it's still not acceptable. I don't know how difficult this should be. As others have stated, it is hit or miss getting someone to answer the phones, and they do not call you back after leaving a message. Also, they don't seem to get around to calling you to let you know that your glasses are back. I had to call in both times. read more

Called to make an appointment as a new customer. Asked when an appointment was available and was put on hold for over 3 min. Turns out during that time I was on hold she was not looking for an appointment for me. Asked for my social security number over the phone which made me very uncomfortable. Did not provide it and will not be going in. Not going to even try based on this first impression. read more

Went back for an annual exam for our daughter. Service and care were top notch. From the start it's clear that they have made some great improvements with front office staff.
