They wouldn't let me use the bathroom, said I had to go to Nordstrom. I'll never go back.

Dan was great. He replaced my glasses pads for free, even though I didn't get my glasses in store.

In a word: SUPERB!!…read more Some background: for many years I saw an optometrist in downtown Minneapolis on Marquette Avenue - and an old but wise eye doctor! He used old lenses that he pulled from a case to check vision, but had new equipment to check for eye pressure too - the best of both worlds. More than anything else, he was friendly and genuinely concerned about my vision and me as a patient and I was saddened when he retired. The past several years I've opted for the corporate giants for exams, but this year I decided to look for a real private practice and found one right down the street! I'm adding all of this because I was so surprised by how much Dr Tyler reminded me of that optometrist! Dr. Tyler did a great job with his exam and he spent a chunk of time with me. His effort to answer questions and explain what he found in the exam was way over and above what I've gotten used to the past years - like I said: Superb!! I'd recommend him to anyone that wants a better and more thorough experience, who appreciates quality care, and who enjoys a great "bedside" (chair-side) manner!

Expensive. The Sunglass Hut sent me to Oakley. Big thanks to them. I wish I remembered the salesperson so name. I explained what I needed he showed me the prism series. When I put them on it had an instant reduction in pain. It was amazing. I was so pleased I didn't care that I was going to look like a skier they were huge. Then he bro5 out a smaller frame and said the lenses could go in them. Sold. I expected to pay 2-3 hundred dollars. Ouch. But nope even with the hard case I added ( I'm a clutz) it was 130. It was a great experience. They treated me so well. Defiantly recommend.

I was always tempted to buy online but never did out of fear I wouldn't like it if I couldn't touch it. Happened to be in town for work and I walk in Mall of America and see this store. I walk in and it's a paradise. I tried almost every pair until I realized I could pick up a pair of holbrooks and have a custom made pair on site! I went crazy and bought myself a pair of holbrooks in root beer matte with polarized bronze lens and satin gold logo. It fits me perfectly and was very satisfied with customer service. Might go back for another pair before I leave to go home. Highly recommended.

If you vow never to come back here, it's Shunglass Hut…read more Located inside the Mall of America is this pretty expensive and fancy Sunglass Shop which generally will set you back quite a lot but they have some fancy pairs and then some medium-priced pairs and in general I think they're a pretty cool place and I like them. In other news Pairs is an anagram of Paris - let's go! But yeah, it's not bad at all. I would definitely come back here if I needed a pair and I was in the mall and I had an unlimited supply of income. The reason why I give them a higher rating than I was going to is because they are significantly friendlier than I expected. Like really really friendly.

I contacted sunglass hut to final a formal complaints June 29th 2021 and It is now August 4th 2021 and no response from anyone! I placed an online order for in store pick-up. I went in and was asking to pick up my order I was rudely asked to wait outside due to being at the limit of 4 in store I politely removed myself and waited outside patiently. Currently inside was a husband and wife and there service animal and two Asians and the two African Americans working inside the store. One worker was sitting down drinking and eating not helping anyone and the other one wandering at the front. I then re walked in and just simply asked can I just get my online order he replied back saying no you need to wait. Few minutes go by and a new person entered the store a Asian person joining the group of the other two. I then re entered the store and asked why did he not get told he had to leave but yet I get asked to leave and the worker couldn't even answer me all that was responded back again was please wait outside over and over rudely that I am being refused service and told to wait but yet someone else gets to walk in as number 5 but me simply trying to pick up an order is being refused service yet the worker joined the group of 3 to assist with buying. I finally really spoke up and got told fine I can help you sense your being so inpatient I was in udder shock how rude the store employees were and both need to be fired they should not have a job after this and I will post this on ever social media and hope a news channel sees this. I got told to excuse myself from the store because the African Americans wanted to serve everyone but not me all due fo my color of being white. I was raised not to see color and treat app equal but some people who treat people like that should not have the right to keep there job.

So my mother has macular degeneration and moved here last year, so I wanted to update her…read moreprescription and find a provider. I will never go back to this place, ever, after all of the back-and-forth. Here's a list of things that went wrong: 1. Getting her glasses. They said it was only 2-3 weeks. It ended up being closer to 2-3 *months* before she got both scripts for her near and far-sighted glasses. One was late because they messed up the lenses the first time and had to redo them. They did not tell me this until I started complaining about why it was taking so long. 2. Getting insurance figured out. Most of the people I saw there were my mother's age and are (likely) on Medicare. You would think they never saw a Medicare card in their life. Adding in Tricare and federal BCBS, they could not figure out how bill her insurance. At first they said they couldn't run anything medical and charged us almost full price. Next time, they got all three insurances added to her account and started believing me that they could bill her medical because of her *medical diagnosis* of macular degeneration. Which leads me to... 3. Correctly billing for their services. I've been getting auto-mailed bills for an extra $100, saying that the insurance needs to be figured out. Well, I've been there twice, in person, with my mom to get this sorted, but apparently nothing has been done except updating her profile. This is totally opposite of what they promised to do, which is rerun her insurances and provide a *refund* for the difference she already paid. I'm calling them tomorrow to raise some grief about why, since APRIL, I'm still dealing with their nonsense. I'm at the point where the next establishment I'm calling is the Minnesota Board of Optometry. I'm an attorney, so remember kids that you can pursue legal options if your optometrist keeps messing up your prescription. Don't bring your elderly parents here. They also tried to upsell my mom on a pair of Kate Spade glasses when she's on a fixed income and has dementia. That sort of sales work is shady and morally repugnant.

Mall of America® - I'm looking at this coming from IKEA, realize it's the Upper Midwest, and see an MOA venue named "Flyover." Anyone else find this humorous?

It was such an incredible experience it really makes you feel like you're flying, and the visuals are so realistic. Definitely a must-do if you visit! I also loved all the food options. There are so many places to choose from, and everything I had was delicious. It's nice being able to take a break from walking around and enjoy a good meal without even leaving the mall.Another favorite was the axe throwing it was SO fun and something different from the usual mall activities. It added a really exciting, adventurous vibe to the day and made the whole experience even more memorable. The atmosphere throughout the mall is lively, clean, and full of energy. There's something for everyone shopping, entertainment, food, and unique attractions all in one place. It's perfect for a fun day out with friends or family.I would 100% recommend visiting, and I can't wait to go back and try even more things next time!

The cool thing about this is that you can catch the train right into the place just about. I had a 9:30 flight that was arriving in to Minneapolis and of course I couldn't check into my hotel. I bought an all day train pass and made my way. The coolest thing is that there are lockers of various sizes so you can store your luggage (for a nominal fee) and wander around this massive mall, got to about 1/3rd of it. I was taken back to the the 90's with the old school music playing and some of the stores that I thought didn't exist anymore. There were at least two of the same store but just on different levels or sides of the part of the mall I was in. The amusement park in the mall with the rollercoaster and kiddie rides and roaming characters was awesome. I went back the aquarium, which I would have gone into but it was filled with kids, and honestly it was too early :) Had a great meal at the crepe restaurant. If I was a senior retired, its a great nifty 50s walking spot or just getting out people watch. I would definitely try to go back to see the other parts and to stay the hell out of the cold weather this California gal is not used too.
