I have been to this LensCrafters several times though out about 25 years. I have been to others and other places, like Americas Best. Surprisingly, this place seems to get better with better employees every time. I had an appointment at Americas best, which I was late (I had an unexpected issue arise). I arrived at about 2:34 for a 2:20 appointment and they would not see me. Said I'd need to reschedule for the next week, wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either. She really just seemed frustrated,overwhelmed, and overworked. I didn't want to add to her already bad day so I just no thanks and left. I called LensCrafters who said they did not have any openings but if they had a cancellation they would fit me in so I got there around 2:50 pm. And by 3 I was getting the exam. Not only was it quick and they were super friendly but when it came time to choose my frames and pay the not only gave me a 40% discount but they also gave me an additional $50 off. Because I was $12 short. They worked with me and helped me even more just because. I decided to schedule an appointment for a contacts exam next week too. I am telling you guys this is the best place to go to get an eye exam. Little more expensive but you get what you pay for and this place is well worth it. An awesomely friendly staff that you don't get much anywhere anymore. I don't care how much cheaper the eye exam is at Americas best or Walmart or anywhere. They make up the price with better frames and better deals and they work with you anyway they can. The best and longest lasting glasses I have had came from this LensCrafters. I went in to shop for a new frame. Liana was the representative who assisted my wife and I. Simply put, she went above and beyond. She wasn't just selling you a pair of glasses, it was as if she was welcoming you into her home. She took her time with you and told you why this pair and not this one. Most importantly for me, she was honest and sincere. It wasn't about making quota or collecting a bonus. It was about making sure you were satisfied and not content with your purchase. I say this because when I went back to pick up my glasses and not shopping as I was the week before, she treated my wife and I the same as she did the previous week. It was as if we were the only customers in the store!! I don't know if this is the LC (Lens Crafters) way, or if this is just who she is, but when I'm ready to purchase glasses again, I know now who to look for as well as what I'm shopping for!! read more

I used this establishment in Feb 2025. I decided to try LensCrafters after Visionworks expecting superior service. I decided to use Arbor Place Eye Care to obtain my prescription. I needed progressive lenses. LensCrafters suggested their Adaptive lenses. I understood time was needed to adjust to using progressive lenses. By April, I was still taking off the lenses to see and dealing with headaches. I went to Marietta Eye Clinic for a second opinion. The prescription was wrong. The lenses were also a pain to endure. Every few minutes it seems they needed to be cleaned. During the 1st two weeks I was told I didn't have a certain coating on them. I thought the coating was there, I paid the upgrade fee and received a new set of lenses. Nothing changed. Finally Adaptive lenses are not a premium lens. My eyes are an investment, and I thought I was purchasing a premium lens. A waste of time and a significant amount of money. I voiced my experience with a staff member. She politely asked why I didn't return in 30 days. I explained, politely and left. I suggest bringing your prescription from your trusted ophthalmologist and if you want superior lenses, be sure to make it known. read more

I highly recommend LensCrafter. I needed my Ray Ban sunglasses fixed. The store where I bought them suggested I order the part which was $65 and fix them myself. I stopped into LensCrafters to see if they could fix them. They not only fixed them but did it with a smile and no charge! So grateful! read more

I have gone to this store several times and the one thing that they have been so consistent with is the wonderful and cheerful customer service. I had a bad experience for a quick second a year ago, but hey, everyone is entitled to a bad day, err... right? The doctor's office has the sweetest tiny blonde lady that mainly does the scheduling and get the initial check up going before the doctor comes and sees you. She is just a delight to be around and just brightens up the room. I had Dr. Johnson on my last visit, and he was also wonderul and very kind. He was very thorough with the check up and even cracked a couple of jokes. I was so happy with this office that I brought the hubby for his check up within a few days after. He had a different doctor who he also said was nice. He jokes that his opthalmologist always said "you have good eyes, healthwise" - for some reason, that little rhyme cracks him up haha. So, if you want good customer service both for your doctor visit and via their store, you can come here. HOWEVER: I will admit that their frames here are SO EXPENSIVE. I had a Rayban plastic frame and prescriptions lenses without the anti-glare and it cost me $300 WITH INSURANCE two years ago. Today, when we were looking for frames, hubby and I decided to walk around and found Sear Optics on the 2nd floor within the Sears store at the mall.. and whoa and behold, they have Raybans and other name brands sold for 1/3 of the price. (I will write a seperate review for Sears Optics). All in all, I am a fan. But the prices on their products were a bit too steep, that's why we had to buy all our other glasses somewhere else. read more

I went to LensCrafters for my yearly eye exam nd if necessary, glasses. The doctor told me that she saw cataracts forming, but I wouldn't have to worry about it for at least 2 years. When my glasses arrived 10 days later, I couldn't see thru my right lens. The associate told me that people actually see from the dominant eye. I was told this after spending $350 out of pocket for glasses that I could only see out of one lens. The right lens was plain glass, so they offered to order another pair. When the second pair arrived, they were just as bad as the first, so I asked the other doctor in the practice to take a look, for a second opinion. He adamantly refused and said I would need to see the first doctor. I wanted another doctors' diagnosis, not the same doctor. He even told me that if she saw cataracts, that they could habe gotten worse within 10 days. I demanded my money back, and after stating I would come in with my demands, I also got a refund for the exam as well as the glasses. Within the next 2 weeks, I was seen by an ophthalmologist, which I should have been referred to by lenscrafters. I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes, with the right eye completely covered by the cataract. I am writing this after having cataract surgery on both eyes, and not even needing to wear glasses at all. Any recommendations from this business should immediately be followed up with a second opinion by another eye doctor, or better yet, don't go there at all. read more

This is the worst eye clinic in all of Douglasville for 3 reasons! One reason was their waiting room, it's a sardine can! If you're gonna have an eye clinic in the mall at least have the common sense to have at least 10 seats for people. Not to mention they have no play area for the small kids. The second is they don't take VSP insurance. Who doesn't take VSP!? That's literally the most common eye insurance in the world. That would be like if a grocery store didn't take Visa. The third one is my eye doctor was over and hour late to my appointment. An hour! I rushed to get to my 10:30 appointment and that bastard didn't show up until 11:45! I could have enjoyed my breakfast with my mother but instead I had to practically swollow my breakfast whole and rush to the mall to get to my appointment. I don't care how busy he was, with the amount of money my mom paid those fools the absolute least they could do is be fucking punctual! Any doctor with basic common decency knows that. The last reason is the price. It cost $90.00 to get my eyes checked $100.00 for my new frames, $60.00 for my lenses, and $400.00 for the whole appointment in general. Which sums up to a grand total of $650.00 minus tax. Even with the 40% lens discount that grand total was still over $600.00. If they took our insurance it probably wouldn't have been as expensive, but they didn't so that what the grand total. Plus all of their lady's frames were ugly as hell. In the end we paid the $90.00 for the eye appointment and perscription and did everything else at Walmart for less than 1/6 of the price at LensCrafters. My overall opinion is for the love of God, don't come here for anything! Any person that says this store has reasonable prices is lying. Seriously, if you need new glasses and you have VSP insurance, go to Walmart. My mom and I both go our glasses there and I got my lenses for a grand total of $42.00 with insurance. Honestly, if I could give negative stars I would. Also, unlike LensCrafters, Walmart has free wifi. read more

I was called twice to come pick up my glasses... The first time no one could find my glasses. The second time I came in a lady asked me to sit in the blue chair. She walked away to help three other people. I waited while the two employees laughed with each other and the other customers...while helping them. When I spoke to my husband loud enough for everyone in the store here me... I am going to review this business while I'm waiting. One of the employee quickly came over to me and asked my name. The receptionist from the front counter--Israel--I believe was personally talking bad about me and my family. She told the other receptionist to attend us last because "we decided to get here late". We called the establishment multiple times to let them know we would run a bit late but no one answered the phone. It was extremely rude for it was HIGHLY inappropriate to talk in such manner about a person who is quite literally paying your bills. Truly a shame. read more

Not very customer service friendly. I went pretty late in the evening, as I already had my prescription in hand and was just looking to purchase a 2nd pair of glasses for myself. There were no other customers. The guy that helped me was a new employee. He told me this after he said out loud, in my face, "oh damn!" when he saw how strong my prescription was as he was entering it in the computer. That was VERY RUDE. He commented that he'd never seen a prescription "that high", but that he'd only been working there about a week. He also didn't give me an options as far as pricing (ie, least expensive to most expensive options for lenses). He just went straight for the gusto with the most expensive options. I had to tell him to give me more options. I've been wearing glasses 40 years, so I know there's more than just a "one and done" type of option for lenses. I will continue to use Lenscrafters, but I doubt I'll return to this store in the future to get my glasses. read more

I am very pleased with my experience. First, let me just say I'm very sensitive when it comes to my eyes and the staff made me feel very comfortable and eased all anxiety, I purchased the HD Lens pkg. to be put in my existing frames and the quick 1hr service. My glasses were finished in exactly 1hr and they sent me a text letting me know. I arrived to pick them up and the staff were very helpful and very professional, and to top it off my glasses looked beautiful, just perfect.
