With it, close to 42% discount for my frames, around 52% off for transitions lens and anti-reflective coating. The glasses arrived in less than two weeks after ordering them. I went in a couple of times to get my frames adjusted (it's complimentary). The first time, the frames were too tight. And today, sliding down my nose too often. It was a short wait to get them fixed. No more adjustments needed after today. As usual, very helpful staff. I'll be back in two years! read more

had a frustrating experience at MyEyeDr.. I require wider frames, and the in-store selection was extremely limited--only one higher-end brand option was available. As someone who needs larger sizing, it felt like there were very few accessible or affordable choices. I mentioned that the company offers more options online, but the employee I spoke with wasn't aware of that. When I asked for my PD (pupillary distance), I was told they could not provide it and that wherever I purchase glasses could measure it instead. Because I wasn't provided my PD, it also prevents me from purchasing glasses online--even through the same company. I had specifically mentioned interest in their online selection, so this felt limiting and counterproductive. Overall, the experience felt more focused on sales than customer convenience. Between the limited inclusive sizing options and refusal to provide basic measurements, I left feeling dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location. read more

On August 13, 2026 at 9:01 AM I visited and scheduled an appointment at the front desk with the soul office worker who told me that my insurance would cover the exam and I would only receive a $39 out-of-pocket charge for a eyeglass and contact examination. Service is poor. I've had 2 appointments and both times my prescription was delayed and arrived late. The employee didn't read off any of my benefits and what I get through them. I wasn't aware of which add-ons were added to my lens/prescription until I received the invoice. Overall just poor experience both visits. Reviewing an eye doctor and giving them 2 stars was never something I'd envision myself doing, but this experience was extremely frustrating. I had an appointment at 10:20, checked in online, didn't add my insurance information, was told "you checked in online you're good", but shortly realized I had no idea if I was in network, how much it would be, etc. I went back to the counter to check in and they said the same thing "you check in you're good" and "she should've told you" still not really knowing how much it was going to be. They also require you to get the $50 imaging done which is just annoying. The dr said they were training a new tech, but the tech was fine, the dr was great. After getting exam I went out to pay, the general manager checked me out and was so rude? He asked if I wanted to get frames, I said not today, he said ok... and then didn't give me my prescription after I paid. I asked for my prescription and he said "yeah ok." Just such an odd experience, it took an entire hour without picking out any glasses or doing a contact exam. Won't be coming back. read more

I honestly had a great initial experience with MyEyeDr. My first appointment was good and the staff was cool. However...I ordered contact lenses from this office on May 30, 2025, and was told they could take up to a month to arrive. It is now August 18, 2025, and I still have not received them. Despite paying hundreds of dollars, I have nothing to show for it. I've called several times and even visited the office in person, but I never receive follow-up when promised. I've also been given conflicting information and no proactive communication about the status of my order. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. At the referral of a friend, I've been a patient for over a decade when it was called Eydeology. Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, many folks are skipping preventive medical appointments out of fear of being infected. So as a public health professional who strongly believes in the importance of prevention, I wanted to write this review to express the safety measures that were taken by MyEyeDr during my annual eye exam. COVID-19 Safety Steps: The door remains locked and is unlocked as each patient arrives. Upon entrance, Daisy greeted me and asked me to sanitize my hands and requested that I 1) put one of their provided masks or 2) place their mask over my own mask. Daisy then took my temperature and asked me the standard COVID-19 questions (e.g. Have I been diagnosed or had COVID-19-related symptoms, etc.). The only recommendation I have is to install handsfree sanitizer stations to prevent cross contamination from the pumps. Other than that, the office took great precautionary safety measures that made me feel safe and comfortable. The Staff: Daisy greeted me in a friendly and professional manner and even recommended I checkout the local doughnut store on the corner. Dr. Moore is great! She knows her stuff, makes important recommendations to maintain healthy eyes, and gets you in and out within one hour-even after waiting 20 minutes for my eyes to dilate. They offer a procedure for an extra $37 (cost for my insurance plan) if you don't want the blurry effect from dilation. I opted to have my eyes dilated and they provided me with disposable glasses. The staff has changed over the time I've been a patient. I don't mind since I go for a basic annual eye exam and I'm blessed to not have any challenges with my eyes. I'm not a fan of their selection of frames. They can definitely step it up in this area. This is the only reason that I rate them a 4 instead of a 5. Overall, I recommend this eye doctor office. The office is conveniently located. Parking is validated for the connected parking garage. The process to call and schedule an appointment was seamless. They offer Saturday appointments which is a plus. I received a reminder call for my appointment which I appreciated. I scheduled the first 9 AM Friday slot. read more

I came here for a simple pupillary distance measurement, but the experience was frustrating. The staff seemed confused and moved very slowly, specifically the young man at the receptionist desk, which is not something you want to deal with at 9 in the morning. When Eyedeology first transitioned to MyEyeDr a couple years ago or so, I was scared about the impact to their level of customer service b/c I was a huge fan of Eyedeology (and their name - their name was brilliant) ... honestly, their service levels were horrible when they first became MyEyeDr. I was close to writing a review update and thinking I'd never come back. But today, they won me over again. Dr. Moore was great, the lady who welcomed me into the store and took care of the pre-exam stuff was great and esp. Sandy who was like my personal shopper for glasses and took time to find eyewear that would look good on my face and give me honest feedback - she was awesome. Everything felt very efficient. Staff is friendly and very helpful. FYI they're a VSP provider. Parking is free with validation ... however for the last two times, the validation didn't seem to work and the machine showed a charge ... if that happens, just press the help button, explain the situation and they will let you exit. read more

This following review is for the location down the street at 800 Peachtree (next to Einstein Bagels): So I chose this particular location for my annual eye exam because it is one of the few myeyedr locations open on Saturday. I used to go to the one in Northlake, but moved a while ago and of course didn't want to go too far out. I'll start off by saying this location is awful. On 9/24, my husband and I came in at our appointment times for the exam. Everything went well for the most part. I decided on ordering lenses only because I like my current frames. Paid the required amount and expected office to call me once ready. So 2 weeks passed. No call. Very odd. I happened to call them exactly 2 weeks later for an update. Receptionist stated lenses are in office. Why no phone call? I then offered to come in Monday the 17th since I'll be back in town from vacation. Got response of that's fine. Husband went on my behalf and office is closed every Monday. Why didn't the lady correct me when I spoke to her? *sighs* Waited to come in myself a few days later this past Saturday. Walked in with no notice. Pretty much got a response of "we're sorry. There was a mix up". A few minutes later, walked out with my new lenses. So it took me a month to get my stuff. Geez. I've been going to this location since 2019. Yesterday. I need a form completed based on information provided in my 2020 visit. Because the doctor did not document her concerns discussed with me re: indicatiins of early glaucoma ... then the form cannot be completed. She scared me because she stated it develops quickly Her concerns was the impetus for my continuing with a more comprehensive exam at Emory. How in the heck do you not add to patient note the concern? I looked in my receipts from the visits .. no reference to the eye exam results/ outcome. To preface this review: I was only in for sun glass repair and not to visit a doctor. I called in last week to ask about getting one of the screws on my sunglass' arm replaced and was delighted to hear that one of the associates at the store could help. I was referred to this place by my insurance. I made a visit the beginning of march 2023 to get glasses and the website said open but door sign stated that they were closed until march 7th. i came again on my off day 3/13/2023, drove over 25 mins and to my surprise they were closed again. I checked online before visiting this location and it said open until 6 pm aswell as the sign on the door. I called to make sure I was at the right location and was told every other Monday they are closed. Several years ago it took two tries to get the right glasses when it was eyedeology. This year, I came back to the taken over My Eye Dr. The exam was so fast. The frame selection is cruddy so went to another location with better frames. After glasses that were wrong twice I was sent back for another exam. Prescription was changed in a 5 minute appointment. My husband and I have been going to this location for years--first when it was Eyedeology, and now MyEyeDr. I'm long overdue writing this. Dr. Moore and everyone else we've encountered so far has been great--all friendly, helpful, and professional. I especially wanted to share how wonderful Sanithia is. Sanithia alone is a great reason to keep returning. She truly is a glasses whisperer. She's so friendly and truly seems to care when helping you pick out your glasses. In fact, the last two times I've gotten glasses, it was the frames she picked out that I ended up going with because she found the perfect ones for me. With her warmth and enthusiasm, she feels like shopping with your most supportive, yet honest, friend. She makes choosing the frames fun. It's fantastic the way she truly notices the styles of glasses you tend towards and then knocks it out of the park with her selections (also throwing in a few delightful out-of-your-comfort-zone-but-not-too-out-there choices that are surprisingly right on). My husband and I were just so thrilled with her. She even called us by name when we stopped by to pick up our glasses--we were touched she remembered us considering how many hundreds of people she must help every year. After having a horrible experience at Stone Mountain Eye Care out by where I work I decided to try this place out in Midtown after reading the stellar reviews and discovering that my insurance is accepted here. I was glad I did because Dr. Gupta is definitely one of the best eye docs I have ever had. She rescued me from an incorrect prescription and re-did my eye test giving me contacts that worked out for me perfectly. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before coming to this location and I should have. On my initial visit for my exam I was left waiting to order my lenses for so long that I had to reschedule and come back another day. The waiting area was full of people either waiting for their exam or trying to order frame and lenses with only one person assisting customers. All the other employees were either in the back or standing around. When I returned to order my lenses a young man "tightened" my frames before sending them off to the lab to have my lenses inserted. I was told it would take two weeks when it actually took a month for them to come back. When I finally got my frames and lenses back there was this thick white film/coating on the arms of my frames that wasn't there before. It's so hard that I've had to scrape it off. My frames are also too tight and the blue light protection in the lenses literally reflects blue every time I look at a screen. I've had blue light protection in my previous lenses and this has never happened. Overall this has been a frustrating experience and a huge waste of time and money. I won't be returning. read more

This place has been awful to deal with. I just chose this location since I can walk there on my lunch break and because it is close to my workplace. Due to my original glasses being stolen, I ordered a replacement pair of spectacles on December 1. When I called the shop on December 16, I was informed that my glasses would arrive on or before December 19. They informed me that although my glasses had not yet arrived, they will on the 19th. I called on the 20th in the hopes that my glasses were there because I was busy on the 19th. I spoke to a woman who claimed that although they tried to deliver the glasses, they were unable to do so since no one was present in the office. Remember that the business is open from 9 AM to 6 PM on Mondays according to the hours of operation. Why, if your shop is open, wasn't someone there to take my glasses from the delivery man? I've called repeatedly and have been met with the same response, "Someone will be calling me back today." Today, December 22, I have contacted them four times, but no one has answered the phone. I abhor this level of customer service. I don't advise anyone to visit this place. I regret having to be the customer to give a negative review, but I'm sick and tired of having to phone and not receiving any information about the location of my glasses. Once there, the staff and experience went really good. Quality and clean office. Doctor was thorough. Frames and lens process, just as thorough. Parking validation. Again, great experience. *observation - One hour before closing, a gentleman came in frustrated from the traffic. When attempting to sign in, the staff realized he came a week before his appointment.
