I have gotten glasses here a few times but not for 3-4 yrs. Doctor visit today was great but looking for frames and choices have gotten poor. All look the same then scolded for looking below rack. This location has Become terrible, something has definitely changed, I unfortunately damaged my glasses, I came in for the same exact pair, and to have my prescription on them, they demanded I take a new eye exam, because my insurance pays for it, it's not enough to spend $600+ on glasses, they want to make things more difficult, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Terrible, the lenses only last 16 months, the lens start peeling off after one year, i paid $760 a Versace glasses, i went back to the store located at 13330 S Cleveland avenue but the manager said is only one year warranty, pretty crapy for almost $800 eyeglasses. DISAPPOINTED. read more

Ive been getting my glasses here for the past 3 years every time I've gotten frames from here, in the same day they are damaged or broken and there warranty on these glasses are ridiculously overpriced. I would not recommend getting your frames here, they have excellent customer service but i cant get over the countless of frames that ive gotten and the same day or next they are damaged, if im paying almost half a band for my glasses i would like them to not break in less then 48 hours of having them read more

Excellent location, fantastic staff and selection in eyewear and contacts. Dedicated service and a terrible appointment policy. Confirm all you want, but if it isn't within 48 hours, they drop you. Confirm in person three days ahead, they drop you. Confirm over phone and in person, they drop your appointment. You must be in their 48 hour window or you can pound sand. If you can work with this, great. Anyone with a busy schedule who a s ahead and thinks they are covered is out of luck. They have also begun requiring pay ahead so you must choose contacts or glasses before your exam. Change your mind during exam or due to new information? Hand over another $100.00, please. Be advised, this may not work out for you, but you won't be told until after you've paid, no adjustments. read more

Extremely incompetent staff. It takes them forever to do anything and it is obvious that staff training is at a subpar level. I would buy my glasses anywhere else. I've had an ongoing problem that started when I spent $1500 on three pairs of glasses and put it on my CareCredit 12 month/zero financing card. The lady confirmed it was 12 months, and sure enough I get a Bill a week later with no 12 months. I called the store back and I'm told that it's a MasterCard with no 12 month financing. So, back to the store, another hour, they credit my MasterCard and they give me a LensCrafters care credit card. Days later I'm waiting for the credit to show up on my CareCredit MasterCard and my bill is due. What a hassle. These completely incompetent people created so much extra time when they didn't have to. read more

Went for my vision check and was given a hand written script. I requested it to done on a computer or something so I could purchase glasses through a site I always use instead I was given a copy of my contacts script rewritten. When I explained that it wasn't I what I asked for the woman said that it was written "very legibly" however it isn't because I am unable to order glasses how I want. I will not be coming back. I do not want to pay $300 plus dollars for glasses when I can get good quality glasses elsewhere. I was going to order contact through this place however I will not be doing that either. I can't give a real negative review, as the lad I worked with was honest and made the attempt to help me. He ended up helping me a lot by sending me to a competitor! (of which he can't be blamed) Went in for a new pair of spectacles and found out the cheapest they would run me would be around $300 and that wasn't including any add ons (transitions, anti glare) or any type of wiggle room for thickness of lens. Although there are things you don't want to mess with, with your body, the fact LensCrafters' "cheap" frames (at the moment I went in) started at $100 was a bummer. I got as much info as I could from the guy, thanked him, walked out. Again, there wasn't a lot going on to make it a negative experience, unless you could the cost of everything as being too high a pocket price, than ok, that's bad. read more

First time coming to lens crafter. Had to get an eye exam for new contacts since my old prescription expired. Went to see Dr. Carlos Sanchez, great guy! Staff members were nice and welcoming. Dr. Sanchez was nice and welcoming as well. He gave me a free pair of contacts to start off before I order more. Felt comfortable and relaxed at the place! Went in and no body helped me. Rephrase. I didn't actually need help. I knew the glasses i wanted. Just needed to check out. The employees were helping other people. I stood there for 13-14 minutes waiting. No body said "we will be right with you". I had the glasses in hand and all i wanted to do was check out. Wasn't asking for much. read more

I arrived at this location because the previous Eye Center I tried could not make a pair of sunglasses bifocal in the styles that I wished. Their selection was limited. So I looked on yelp and I ended up at LensCrafters. I was taken care of quickly. They had many styles of sunglasses, so many I ended up buying two pair. They took care of me promptly I saw no one having to wait to have their glasses done and in two hours and they were ready I went back picked it up and they're perfect. And guess what ? These are bifocals on a curved surface. That's what the other center said couldn't be done. Well I got news for you it can't be done and they're great. read more

We have been a part of the Cypress Lake LensCrafters for over a decade and now have 4 families members in glasses. We love the staff, miss Dr. Mott since her retirement however, Dr. Babitz is fantastic. Frame selection is great, always trendy and also the traditional frames. Sharon was very patient with me as I went through at least sixty pairs of glasses. Many thanks to Dr. Amy Mott for squeezing me into her busy schedule, testing my eyes and providing a correct prescription. (I had a few days of problems with an incorrect prescription from Dr. Sanchez at the Coconut Point office in Estero-see my yelp review). Dr. Mott's prescription was correct, had two pairs of glasses remade and can see again. Note: there wasn't any breaking in time, could see within minutes of putting on new glasses. The staff at both Lenscrafters (Coconut point & Ft Myers) were very friendly and helpful but were limited to filling the prescription they were given. From my experience Dr. Sanchez struck out and Dr. Mott hit a home run. read more

Don't waste your time-unprofessional and rude staff! Three ladies were in the store at the time when I walked in to the store. Nobody greeted me. When my husband walked in the store a few minutes later, they greeted him and were more interested in helping him with sunglasses as he waited for me to select frames for my prescription. When I made them aware that I needed assistance, the gal had little to offer and a snarky attitude. She offered very little information and instead of trying to help me find frames, she walked over to chat about herself with her colleagues. I would give a Zero if I could. The store manager should really consider hiring more professional staff! read more

Really awful experience at this store. Lenses made incorrectly, had to go back to the eye doctor (not theirs) twice before the store agreed the lenses were incorrect this after the doctor called them twice. They never offered to remake the lenses, so I had to order another pair at a higher cost. After I placed the new order and went back to get my money back, they offered to remake the glasses instead of refunding me! Needless to say I wouldn't get another pair from them! On the sixth trip they agreed to refund me but I'm still out two trips to the doctor, and an extra amount for the new glasses which they wouldn't do anything about. I don't recommend them. read more

Shortly after purchasing new frames & bifocal lenses, I'd discovered scratches on both lenses. Taking them back in for repairs, I was somewhat tersely asked if I'd purchased insurance. When I informed them that I had not, I was told I'd have to pay the original price for the lenses. Decided to replace the worst of the two and was shocked when I was given the bill of $260 (!). I have since replaced both lenses at Costco for less than $200 and have had no problems with scratches or otherwise. read more

The receptionist was explaining the first part of the exam as if she memorized a script and was pretending to be nice.
