Sonia was great. Pleasant and Lee me in the right direction. Not aggressive, but enough attention to make me satisfied.

I have been a customer of various LensCrafters on Long Island since 2007. However, I usually like going to the one at the Roosevelt Mall, which has the largest LensCrafters on the Island. This store carries luxury name brand frames that the other LensCrafters on the Island do not sell. For example, the LensCrafters at the Walt Whitman Mall does not sell any Gucci and Valentino frames, but the one at the Roosevelt Mall does. I recently purchased a Dolce and Gabbana frame. Saleslady Wanetta upsold me to a premium progressive lens (Varilux), an anti-reflective coating, transitions; and a $39.99 eyewear protection plan that requires a $50 co pay any time that I need to replace a damaged pair of eyeglasses with brand new ones within one year of the original purchase. I paid $178.43 out of pocket for everything excluding the eye exam, which was administered at Sight MD by an ophthalmologist. LensCrafters employs only optometrists for eye exams. I require an ophthalmologist for health reasons, so I walked in the store with a prescription. My eyeglasses came in two weeks, and I hated how they looked on me once I wore them in the street. They fogged up too quickly, especially indoors. Also, the transitions do not polarize light at all. So I immediately went back and exchanged the pair for another, which is a benefit of the "one-time 30 day return guarantee program". I got $41 back because I opted out of transitions this time, so my total out of pocket costs were knocked down to $137.43-not bad for a pair of luxury brand eyeglasses. Salespeople Bismal and Deo and Manager Nicole all helped me select another frame by giving me their honest opinion of how it looked on my face. I chose a cat-eye Prada frame, which flatters my oblong face. Following a wise suggestion made by Deo, I also switched to "Workspace Progressives" that filter out blue light to minimize glare and eye fatigue from prolonged computer use. Although there is no scientific evidence that blue light is harmful, I thought I'd try the Workspace Blue IQ Clear Premium AR lenses to see if they make a difference. My order came in two weeks, and I am so happy with it. My frame looks lovely on me, and the lenses do not fog up that quick. It is too soon to tell if they relieve eyestrain, but I cannot them because of the one-time 30-day return policy. So if I don't like them, there is "maybe next year" when I purchase another frame after I renew my insurance policy. I have Aetna Vision, whose benefits include a $300 frame allowance plus 20% off any balance over the frame allowance, $0 standard plastic or progressive, $0 standard polycarbonate lenses with scratch coating, $0 UV treatment and tint. LensCrafters salespeople remark that most people don't have epic insurance like I do. Perhaps, that is why, I believe, there are so many negative reviews about this store. Overall, my experience was wonderful at Roosevelt Field Mall's LensCrafters because of helpful salespeople, like Wanetta, Bismal, Deo and Nicole. Having fantastic insurance helped a lot, too. Because of the outstanding customer service, the wide selection of frames and lenses , numerous sales offers, a stellar return policy and reasonable eyewear protection plan, I will continue shopping at this LensCrafters location.

Came for an annual eye exam. It was my first time at this location. Easy to setup my appointment, easy to understandwhat was hoping on & relatively quick. The black young lady at the front desk that helped me, she was very nice & welcoming. The store location is hard to find, if you're unfamiliar with the mall. It's on the lower level. Escalator near the Red Mango yogurt shop on the main level. Main, middle interest between Neiman's & JC Penny. Full disclosure, I don't have a complicated Rx. I also used to work at a Lenscrafters in another state. So I new what was going on...

So pleased with the service. Dale saw us immediately and worked with such efficiency to get me and my wife's glasses adjusted for the perfect fit. He also changed our nosepieces. Very happy and grateful for such great service from Dale and LensCrafters

I've had my glasses for a year now (since Jan 2025) and if I could give it negative stars, I would. I left there with glasses that were too big for my face and no adjustments made to them. I paid a pretty penny for these fancy Gucci glasses with progressives, but no one at Cohen's adjusted the glasses nor steered me away from these glasses which now I realize were the wrong fit for me. I spent the whole year trying to figure out why I couldn't see - thinking something was wrong with my eyes. My new optometrist advised that because the glasses were too big, they were sliding off my face, and the progressives were not placed properly in my eyesight rendering the progressives useless. I'd have to make ridiculous head movements for the progressives to work and it's not practical. Save your time & money and go to a real optician. One that will work with the optometrist or ophthalmologist that takes your eye exam. Because I'm pretty certain I made my eyesight worse with these glasses.

The turn around time is exceptional - I don't think we've ever waited more than a few days for our new glasses. He has also fixed a few pairs for us, even if they were not purchased there or if we purchased them years ago. AND he has also been known to hand deliver them in a pinch - truly the best. If you need optical services, stylish daily frames or sunnies, or optical advice from the best in the business, definitely stop by. I would suggest calling Mark before stopping by because Covid has everything out of sync - but with the minuscule chance that you miss him, he always returns your call promptly :)

I filled it out then handed it back to the receptionist and proceeded to wait for my appointment. After 40 min of waiting, I asked if I was going to be seen soon and was told someone would call my name. I sat back down for another 15 minutes. Annoyed, I went to a different person (presumably the manager/shift lead) and inquired about what is going on. She scrambled to find my check in, and just to realize it was lost in the mix. They called me in immediately after that. I was seen by a young male doctor who was nice enough. Appointment went smoothly but whatever was going on at the front desk needs to be addressed. We have both medical and vision insurance and were surprised to receive a bill afterward. Getting answers was nearly impossible. Calls went unanswered, emails were ignored, and it took almost 10 days plus an in-person visit before we finally received a response. The office manager, Kristy DiSipio, simply emailed us the signed paperwork and stated that we were responsible for the bill without providing any meaningful explanation. She also left a note for the billing department, and when I called, it was clear nobody was interested in reviewing the situation or helping resolve it. We ultimately paid the bill, but the lack of transparency, poor communication, and dismissive customer service were unacceptable. Patients place their trust in medical providers and deserve honesty, transparency, and clear communication. A professional office should clearly explain any charges that may not be covered by insurance before services are performed, not leave patients with unexpected bills and little explanation afterward.
