My savior! I have Oakley lens that the plastic fish line broke. Most places won't touch Oakley. They sell Oakley and when I called to tell about the problem they said to come in and would take care of it. I did just that, came out the 30 mins to bring the frame and a second pair of glasses also to ask if they can check. The woman who I met with was efficient and checked everything with me. I was very happy to have these get repaired because I had concern that I may have had a problem not finding a shop to fix. Went for an eye exam. When they found out that I sometimes wear contacts, I was given a contact eval for $125 out of pocket (surprise!). The contacts they prescribed were useless (couldn't read with them , even with readers on)and about twice as much as I normally pay. They will not refund and I will not go back. read more

I purchased a frame less than a month ago at another location. Twice since then they cracked out of nowhere. The first time I waited until I was back home to get the same color but this last time I could not in fact before i even left the house they broke completely. The Hyannis store was amazing telling me something the other location never did about not using rubbing alcohol on my glasses. They even offered to let me take the frame in the color they had in stock until they special ordered the original color. I was amazed and happy with the frame in a new color. the people that work here have trouble with the English language and blatantly lie to your face. I was charged in full for glasses I never received. I specifically asked their staff member to include my insurance benefits and a coupon i received. none of this was done. I called today to ask where my eyeglasses were and why I was charged so much. the manager hung up on me. this is their 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. I suspect the man who helped me is an illegal on top of it all. oh well. credit card company will handle them. buy your eyeglasses elsewhere!!!!! read more

Bought new glasses, safety glasses at a price if 375 dollars. Wore them for the first time a few months later. The temple snapped with very little pressure. I took them back to the store. The woman agreed they were defective. I was then told they could not be repaired but they would give me 20 percent off a new pair, as they did not warranty safety glasses. What a deal! So, obviously a very shady company weaseling out of their obligation through the fine print. read more

Worst after care service ever! I called to confirm that the prescription I had in my records was correct and they refused to let me know I had the correct Rx because it had expired 3 weeks earlier. Unbelievable! I paid a very hefty price for a full exam and was duped into paying for additional useless addons in that same exam. How can they now refuse to let me know what the results were. NEVER go there again. I would have gladly scheduled an appointment to update my Rx but not now. They lost a good customer because of a stupid policy. read more

Lens crafters goes above and beyond when it cones to customer service. I have been going there since 2004. They always have my glasses ready when they say they will and always help out even when the glasses in question were not made by them. Oleg is who I have been dealing with lately and he knows his stuff!! If you rely on glasses to see and want prompt and courteous service, then this is the place to go. I've been to other "private" optometrist in Sandwich and they never stand up to the high level of professionalism, customer service and timeliness that Lens Crafters does. And no I don't work there. Came with my mother to look at eye glasses. Neither one of us have worn eye glasses before & we weren't impressed at all coming here. The display wasn't very attractive presenting their designer named frames (of course the reason we stopped in!) The dusty plastic trays were not very inviting to either of us nor the employees inviting either. Not one person greeted us or acknowledged our presence in the store. I mean we had to of looked some what lost while shopping, as a waiting customer had to direct us away from the men's frames to the women's section to avoid our own embarrassment. Make sure you get the $34 warranty. Even though you pay &610 for a pair of glasses if the finish falls off the glasses in 7 months it's not covered. They should just include the warranty price and everyone would be happy. read more

Have been in a few times for checkups with the Doctor. Each time I wait over 45 minutes to actually se her. How can someone be so far behind so early in the day. I cannot recommend this office for eye exams because of this lack of regard for my time. The eyeglass ladies in the store part are amazing and the glasses are made efficiently and in a time manner. My experience was entirely different. Last Friday I broke my eyeglass frames and went to lenscrafters on Saturday hoping to find frames that would accept my lenses. I believe it was Oleg who asked how he could help me. I showed him my frames and without even looking at the huge stock of inventory told me I had to buy new glasses and frames. So I decided to get an eye exam. Not ten minutes later a family came in whose son broke his frames. The same person asked to help them and were told the same thing. Why repair something if you can sell new glasses. My daughter looked at them and told me they were rimless frames and only have to match the upper part, the rest is adjustable.So on Sunday afternoon I went to the mall and went to Sears optical. The technician took one of my lenses and in 2 minutes found a frame that would work. Tem minutes later I was out the door with my new frames. So don't accept what you are told by a lazy salesperson. Go somewhere else and get another solution. By the way their prices are no better than anywhere else and sometimes higher. The only advantage is they are done in an hour. Hopefully correctly done. read more

Quick to take your money very accusatory with warranty issue. I bought a pair of prescription Oakley sunglasses there for a pretty penny and then when I went in for a warranty return they said they do not handle that I have to go through Oakley. They would not give me the phone number for the Oakley warranty claims. Then the manager (guy with beard, always dressed in black) accused me of it being my fault. Still trying to get warranty claim done through Oakley. Stay as far away from this store as you can no matter what insurance you have. read more

I've had two appointments there in the last month. The first appointment for a vision check and contacts fitting took 21/2 hrs. They were running 45minutes behind and from there on in I was shuffled from one room then back to the waiting room 3x. My f/u visit I waited in an empty waiting room for 40minutes. Dr.Parker was great once I met with her, but staff needs a brush up on customer service. read more

Terrible. Went in three times. Each time the first person to assist me was unable to because he/she clearly didn't know what they were doing. I wasn't a complicated patient. Then the lenses I got were totally wrong wrong for reasons that took almost an hour to figure out. Finally got a nice pair of glasses, but then when I scratched a lens slightly and brought it in, they said must be replaced; then found out must replace BOTH lenses; and having paid $650 or so for the glasses first round, I'd have to pay over $900 just because of one slightly scatched lens. They said it's the lens manufacturer's policy. I said to bleep with that and vowed I'd never use them again. I did not get the insurance, true enough, and expected to pay something. But they recommended the manufacturer. So it's a combination of that and the incompetency of every first person I saw each of the three times I arrived. More than coincidence. read more

Walked into Lens Crafters to have a pair of glasses that were bought at Lens Crafters (3/2017) repaired. No greeting from any staff member. Went to receptionist only to find out that the receptionist works only for the optometrist not Lens Crafters. Went back out to the main area - still no greeting from staff, no eye contact, nothing. No idea whether we should stand in line or what to do. Staff running around like chickens with their heads off - too busy to acknowledge patients. Finally got seated. Glasses "fixed" and they still hurt. Nose piece is now bent out of shape, after being "fixed". It should be mentioned that the optometrist who did the testing back in March, never dilated the pupils. He was more interested in patient throughput rather than patient care. If you want a thorough eye exam and a professional experience in which you can have confidence, this is not the place for you. read more

Was told my contacts would be ready in 2 to 3 days and they would call me when they are in. Accepted my payment and it came out of my account immediately. After waiting a week and a half I finally called to find out what was wrong. Turns out they were not in yet because the manufacturer was behind schedule. That was it, no offer to tide me over with another sample set of five or any other alternative. Just a kind of "it is what it is attitude". my 90 year old father bought a set of prescription ray-bans sunglasses. after 3 or 4 years the sunglass tint started to bubble and flake off. I brought them into lens crafters in Hyannis where he bought them and talked to Oleg. he stated it is common for this to happen when people spend too much time on the ocean. my dad does not own a boat or go to the beach. Oleg said I had to buy new ones. I've owned dozens of sunglasses and never had this happen. why would I buy a new pair if this will happen again. lens crafters lost me and my dad as customers. read more

Last Sunday 2/5/13 Brought my eyeglass frames and expecting them to just adjust the frames. I bought them 5 mos. earlier and the prescription seemed strong so I had not warn them. A sales girl was cheery and asked my phone number first i gave her two different numbers, one cell other ground and was surprised that she brought up something attached to my file with a foreign area code. She finally came up with my husband, a separate client with the ground phone number. I believe it was Oleg who asked how he could help me. I showed him my frames and without even saying a word went to look in the microsscope vs the prescription they had pulled up with the odd phone number.I heard him mutter to the sales girl' This does not look good," my husband heard it too.
