Today I had an exceptionally long wait time, about 45 mins. It didn't seem that busy, so I'm a bit stumped. My eye exam was pretty thorough, the optometrist was nice, but I felt rushed and left hanging. I wasn't exactly told that my visit was done, leaving me feeling kind of puzzled. Maybe it was just me? I also saw a lot of the staff members looking bored and gossiping about other customers, which is a big turn off. (Like, hey, hello? I'm sitting here by the desk/reception area waiting for my appointment, I CAN hear every single word you're saying! That's super unprofessional, bitching about bad customers on the sales floor!) But, I digress... So, meh...it's not the worst place I've ever been to, but certainly not the best. It seems that some of the staff need to brush up on their Do's and Dont's of retail etiquette.The receptionists were really nice though. Would I recommend this place? When I asked about the refund difference between a simple pair for distance only, they said I wouldn't get any refund because they were 'remaking' the glasses, even though the 2nd pair would be considerably cheaper. So, I returned the original pair for a full $535 refund and will get a pair of glasses elsewhere. The manager didn't blink, she didn't care, didn't try to keep me as a new customer and I walked out happy. I liked the doctor and support staff, but I'm always a bit suspect when the retail optician office sell glasses is inside the eye doctor's office. All of their focuses on makin g money selling glasses, not keeping customers happy.

How rude and very unprofessional. I will be looking into reporting this company for their coding tactics. Every case is not the same and should be treated accordingly.

Dew sitting on the counter from dinner) I don't drink pop. So I declined the dilation of my eyes, and kept telling me how important is was. I then said "Okay let's do the picture scan." He said no it's okay another time. I told him I'd like to wear contacts for summer but I have dry eyes and he said I can't do contacts. That's funny because other eye doctors have told me to use drops. I then proceeded to the exam part of this, he told me to read the bottom line, I told him I could not see what it said. He said try again. Again I can not read it. So he moves on to another slide. Again read the bottom line, I could not. Some how we concluded the evaluation, and I get my prescription which seems waaaaayyyy over then what I currently have. I did not order a pair of glasses as I want a second opinion. My husband went a week later and he was told he didn't need glasses but only for reading purposes. Well he can't see without glasses so yes he needs them. This new eye doctor does not seem to know what to do..

The new comics are displayed display well at the back of the store surrounded by the more recent books and then the nice selection of back issues. The area around the counter has the cool collectibles, some statues and other goodies. I like the old collectible comic related drinking glasses. Then you resurface into the shelving of Manga, graphic novels, toys and Funkos. Up front there are some display cases full of older collectible comics and a rack of t-shirts. Check out the pics. I was talking to one of the employees and they said that they have six local writers/artists/creators coming in for free comic book day this Saturday and John will have his convention stock broken out and set up. His convention stock is amazing for silver age and golden age and key comics !
