I've been here twice, the wait time wasnt at all long. The girls at the front were very helpful and the Dr was suprisingly very nice, she jokes around with you and explains everything to you that shes doing, I ordered contacts and she explained to me exactly what I needed with the price differences which made it pretty easy for me to make my decision. The best place to get your prescription glasses or any type of eye wear is Lencrafters located inside the Moreno Valley Mall...Ally made my whole experience very pleasant...I needed glasses quickly due to my Eye doctor stating that I can no longer wear contacts...The problem was it would take several days to get them back, so I decided to go to Lenscrafters...From the the time that I walked into the store and then When I was done with getting a pair of glasses, the professionalism displayed exceeded my expectations!!!! I recently returned to Lens Crafters for my annual exam. I ended up purchasing three pairs of glasses (two for my husband and one for me) The Optometrist; Evelyn and Kelly were very nice and helpful during this process. But when my husband and I returned to pick up his glasses, that was a whole different story. Kristen attempted to help us with the transaction. Kristen was condescending; know it all; rude; criticized the Optometrist's prescription to both my husband and myself. She insisted that we had already picked up two of the three pairs purchased. While attempting to explain that we had not picked up any. Kristen kept interrupting and had to verify with someone else "that her IPad was wrong" At the end of all this, we only ended up picking up one pair, the other two were not ready yet. Kristen offered a apology stating she was "sorry for MY misunderstanding of when the glasses would be ready" Needless to say, I don't know if I will return next year and considering cancelling the other two pairs that I have purchased. I have written to corporate about my concern, will update if I get a response. UPDATE-I spoke to Kelly the Manager for this location. Kelly listened to my concerns and offered to speak to the associate about her behavior. Kelly was kind and professional and offered to help us when we returned for the two pairs of glasses. Horrible service. Been there before and used my insurance there many times. Went for my annual exam on Saturday. Told them what type of insurance I had and they proceeded to tell me that my insurance only covered frames?? wtf? I double checked my benefits before I went to the exam and knew my exam was covered. I offered to go to the website and show them my coverage. They said no... I needed to get my exam done so I stayed and paid for the exam. Now I need to file a claim with my insurance. Lazy people who probably didn't want to deal with the insurance so they made me pay. Will never go back again. .. read more

Came to LensCrafters after calling and making an appointment. We waited over 20 minutes while listening to one of the employees phone playing music on the speaker system. Not relaxing music but with deep base and bumping and just not an easy listening type music you should hear in an office atmosphere. One eye exam turned stressful! First time getting an eye exam. The doctor was nice but talked to me like I was a kid. Telling me I need to make appointments for physicals, dental work and eye exams regularly. She was nice about it, but talked to me like she was my mom. Got my glasses within an hour. I read some of the reviews that are posted here and I think these people are either crazy or expect too much. I've used this lens crafter several times over the past few years. Most recently for brand new glasses and trifocal blended lenses. The staff was always very pleasant very helpful very nice to deal with. I recommend them in this location with 5 stars without any hesitation. To hear people complain about having to wait or listen to music or some of the other reasons posted leads me to think they forget what they're buying here. This isn't a blouse or a pair of shoes these are glasses that are different for every single customer. The whole staff including the manager have always been wonderful for us to deal with. read more

I was very disappointed with their customer service. All I wanted to do was see if they can fix my frames and if they took our benefits. One of the sales associate asked if we need help and we told her what we needed and she said she would help us after she was done with her current customer. Instead, she left us waiting for 20 minutes and went on break instead. She didn't let another associate know that we still needed help and the other two associates didn't bother to ask us if we needed help. We stood around for another 10 minutes and decided to leave. I wasn't going to be like the two other customers waiting around to be helped and have them cut us after coming in later. I guess I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

Dr. Was awesome. Very patient. First exam so I had a lot of questions. The girl assisting me with finding frames wasn't so patient. Would not work with getting the lenses I wanted. Settled and paid more for the metal frames. Like them enough to spend the money because the other frames offered were ugly. After picked them up about 45 mims later , she was all about service then. Will go back because of the Dr. But will do more research next time on the frames I want. That part was lenscrafters. read more

I kind of hate giving bad reviews, but I feel like if I don't speak honestly, someone somewhere will end up having the same experience I did, when I could have warned them. The technicians were all nice and helpful, no complaints there. The doctor is why the score is low. I told her, twice, that one of my eyes was still blurry when we were figuring out my prescription. She acted like she hadn't heard me and completely dismissed me. I kind of just went along because I was dumbfounded. That has never happened to me before in any kind of medical office. Broke my frames and stop by Lenscrafters to get them replaced. Explain my problem to Ms Jackie and let her know that I wanted to get the same frame. She informed that the frames are not made anymore. I ask her to find me a pair somewhere in this country and she got busy calling the other stores until she found a pair. It took a while but a job well done. I think I'll ask her to find me some more of these frames as backups. These frame are me. A screw fell off from my prescription glasses and the lens needed to be secured. It happened around 3:00 pm, on Saturday, 04/09/2016. LensCrafters at Moreno Valley Mall was nearby. I took them into the store and a female employee at the first desk on the right hand side greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I showed her the glasses and asked if she could put a screw back in place. She said she could, but not responsible for any damages. WHAT DAMAGES COULD BE DONE REPLACING A TINY CREW BY A PROFESSIONAL? I gave her the glasses and she finished the repair. By the time I got home and placed the glasses down on my desk. I found my glasses were BRUTALLY bent out of shape! I simply can't believe that any person employed by a professional chain store could perform a minor repair this way!! LensCrafters - Brutally bent!! - Optometrists Near Me - Moreno Valley, California

DO NOT BE SEEN BY DR.GAEDIG! WORST OPTICIAN EVER. If I could put negative stars, I would. Made an appointment for an eye exam and was seen by Dr.Gagdig. Right off the bat I knew something was off with him. He walked into the waiting room, called my name, and when I answered, he just pivoted and started walking back to the exam room. No "Hi my name is Dr.Gadig, Ill be doing your exam today." No handshake, no introduction whatsoever. Once in the exam room, he went through the exam very quickly. Almost as if he wanted me out of that chair as fast as possible. He wrote my prescription, and I waited the hour and a half for my classes to be ready. As soon as I put them on, my first reaction was "WOAH" because I felt like I was looking through a coke bottle. WAAAAAY too strong and made everything look distorted. I immediately complained and asked for a lower prescription. I was then told I had to wait to speak with the doctor. When Dr.Gadig came out to speak to me again, he was EXTREMELY dismissive of my complaints stating that I just needed to get used to them. I have had glasses for YEARS and have NEVER had to "get used to them" because they has always been perfect from the instant I put them on. he suggested I try them out for a while but when I put them on my face again, I insisted that they were too strong. He then said "So you're just not going to try what I am prescribing to you then." HOW RUDE! I then said "NO because your prescription is WRONG." he finally agreed to lower it and i waited another hour and a half for them to be ready. When they were, it was slightly better, but it was still uncomfortable to wear them, I wanted to leave since I had been there for HOURS so I decided to just try them out. After trying to wear them for a day, I was getting headaches and was very dizzy. I called the Lenscrafters in Riverside and told them the situation and insisted on seeing a different doctor. I then went to Riverside and was seen by Dr.Christine. She was WONDERFUL. She took her time with my exam and made me feel very comfortable. I took her both of the prescriptions that Dr.Gaedig had written and she confirmed that the first prescription was COMPLETELY WRONG FOR ME. Like... WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off. The 2nd prescription was better, but STILL WRONG FOR ME. Also, she said that the symptoms I was complaining about were common for people who were ALLERGIC to the material in the lenses. (Polycarbonite- not sure how its spelled) She wrote me a completely new prescription and changed my lense type from Polycarbonite to Plastic. I waited an hour and a half for my classes (same frames as before) to be ready and when I finally put them on, they were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. SO... that being said, I don't know how a doctor could allow a patient to go home with something that made them feel physically ill. In my opinion, the way Dr.Gaedig treated me was MALPRACTICE. He deserves to loose his job if he can not write proper prescriptions and identify when a patient is allergic to a material. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr.Christine in Riverside. Its worth the drive to get the PROPER treatment. read more

I got a call from my daughters school today because she had an incident where her glasses fell and broke.. I rushed to get her and take her to her eye doctor.. They informed me that it would take a WHOLE WEEK to get a new pair.. In a huge panic and being distort, I asked them for her prescription so that I can take to Walmart. Upon my arrival at Walmart, I was instructed to go to Lens Crafters at the Moreno Valley Mall.. That they had "A LAB" in-house. Rushing to drive to the mall, my 9 year daughter is crying, has a horrible headache from the bump on her head/eye.. My heart is racing, yet breaking at the same time I get to Lesncrafters. WOW... I state that only because I was greeted with such smiling faces and help ASAP. We met with Nicolas who was such an incredible man, professional, empathetic and quick to assist us. He truly made our day and we are honored to have walked in and dealt with him. Every one of the team members we amazing. Both my daughter and I felt a sense to welcome and ease being here.. I praise not only the company yet the unbelievable people that work here who sincerely are there to help their customers.. God bless!!!! read more

On September 30, 2016 I went to this Lenscrafters store in the Moreno Valley Mall to get new glasses. When they wrote up my prescription and order they asked me if I wanted my receipt emailed to me or given to me. Then they confirmed my email twice during the time I was sitting there and the clerk was writing up my order. I did not receive the receipt on Friday or over the weekend and didn't receive it Monday or today October 4, 2016 so I called the store and told them that I never received my emailed receipt and could they email it to me. The clerk said oh if you didn't get it we can't email it to you after the fact so you will need to come into the store to get a paper copy. I asked the clerk why I needed to make a special trip into the store to pick up the receipt when it was supposed to be emailed to me and they confirmed my email address twice with me? The clerk said, "Oh there must have been a glitch in the system." I said there was no glitch in the system, someone just did not do their job. This is just another example in a long list of examples of poor customer service and people who work in these jobs have no professionalism whatsoever. I work in IT so I understand systems having glitches but once the glitch is resolved shouldn't my receipt have been emailed to me? She didn't even bother looking into it or saying let me see if what I can do and if I can get a copy emailed to you now. Nothing. But that's what I have come to expect from customer service these days. People don't care about their job, they don't take pride in their work and they really don't concern themselves with the customers like they used to back in the 60's, 70's and the early part of the 80's. read more

I got there "promptly" (as I'd been told to do when I made the appointment) and then waited 25 minutes before they did the eye-puff tests. One of the machines wasn't working right and I had to wait some more while the nice but poorly trained employee went to get help. 20 more minutes passed and I asked about rescheduling but they talked me out of it at the counter. Despite having an appointment I waited a total of an hour AFTER my appointment start time...then I left. There was a waiting room full of kids and I couldn't take it anymore. After I left my husband reminded me that three years before when I'd gone there I'd had to send my glasses back three times before they got it right. I'd forgotten that bit! I won't be going back. But, hey, I guess you get what you get in a mall store. I was paying cash, though, and decided I could be over-charged anywhere....and not wait so long to not even get in to see the eye doctor. read more

I am from out of town and my contacts were damaged. I go to a Lens Crafters where I live, so I drove to this location to see if they would give me a trial pair for the rest of my vacation.
