Let's talk about the crappiest customer service I've had in my entire life. Over a year ago I got a pair of lenses fit into my frame that had an anti reflecting coating that cost over $300 and last month I took it back because the coating was coming off. So I took it back to LensCrafters and they said I can only have it half off. They came back filthy dirty. They couldn't even clean it, and they didn't even give me a cleaning cloth. I asked for a cleaning cloth and they said "no". The workers didn't even say "sorry" or "this is our policy" or anything. I paid more than $400 dollars for bad customer service for the crap job that they did and I will never go back there again. The rude and negative man who represented lens crafters at this location his name is Daniel R. This person really should not be working in front of people because he seems irritated at his job . Thank you LensCrafters for doing a crappy job on my glasses and for me paying you over$500 and not even getting a thank you..... Sad read more

I did receive a call back from the regional manager- I explained the situation and the company agreed to replace my lenses. It took several tries but LensCrafters did the right thing! read more

We had my daughter's (age 5) glasses adjusted. We decided that another frame would be best. They were able to fit her current lenses into the new frames perfectly. The customer service was outstanding and professional. A special shout out to Elizabeth who worked everything out for us. Thank you LensCrafters. read more

Don Greene was a great help. He was able to fix my glasses when employees from another store could not. Also... My daughter needed a new pair of glasses. He obtained her prescription from her Eye doctor on a Saturday. He was very patient and helpful as she was taking forever to make a decision. He made sure that the glasses she choose were the right fit for her face. He also researched my insurance and found a 40% discount on the frames and lenses. read more

This place has bad customer service. Had an appointment and was there on time. when I walked in no one absolutely no one acknowdlege me. I must have been standing and even sat for 15-20 minutes. No said can I help you or I will be right with you. So I decided to leave. while driving someone from Lens Crafters called me on my cell asking me if I was going to show up for my appt. I let her know that I was there waiting but no one acknowglege me. She just apologize and told me to have a good day. Did not even attempt to bring me back. Brought my son in a few months ago as he needed new glasses for school. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Had glasses back in the same day. Received great service from Dr. P and salesman Rob who explained everything very thoroughly. I will be back soon for my own pair read more

I went to lens crafters on pc a couple of weeks ago, and they were magnificent I had my own optometrist but decided to visit because I needed glasses the same the day. Rob was very helpful(and funny) he did my assessment before I saw Dr P he talked to me about the OPTOS. When it was time to get my glasses he also helped me the customer service he exempted was nothing short of amazing, I plan on going back for my yearly exam and I hope both he and DR P are still there. I was unpleasantly surprised with the customer service at this location. It was a busy Saturday and I was happy to wait my turn. While waiting about 15 minutes, one of the sales guys immediately attended two other customers who came in through the door after me. It was so apparent that I was completely ignored twice that another sales person walked up to me and apologized. When I patiently waited for two people who came in after me to be taken care of, I kindly mentioned this to Christian who serviced me. He shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes and could care less. I practice pediatric medicine. If any of our clinical staff mistreated patients like this, I'd warn them once and then fire them. If paying customers aren't important to LENSCRAFTERS, let me know so that I can pay an appreciative optometric store. read more

I had been to this location once to purchase new frames, but had always gone elsewhere (to private offices) for prescriptions and for eye exams because I thought that smaller non-chain eye care offices would do a better, more careful job and there would be better customer service. However, I was wrong! I had gone to my regular optometrist two weeks prior to my LensCrafters visit, and they had failed to notice that I had developed an astigmatism in my left eye, that my prescription had changed in BOTH eyes, and that my left pupil is larger than my right! Dr. P noticed and told me about all three of these changes and possible concerns right away. I was fitted for contact lenses and was warned by several people that contacts are difficult to deal with and not worth my time, but Dr. P was so patient and informative when teaching me to put them in and take them out that I did not feel frustrated by the lenses at all! In addition, the machines they use to examine your eyes are very high-tech and impressive, and very user-friendly - I didn't even need to have my eyes dilated! I cannot recall ever having such a positive experience at a doctor's office. read more

Went to this place for an eye exam. Like what others have experienced, terrible customer service. On my first appt., they did not do it right. Did a single focal for my eye glasses instead of bifocal that I requested. I found out later that they also did not do an exam for contacts for me which is another additional charge. I scheduled the contact lens exam later and when I came for that appt., they did not have me on the list. Would never return to this location. read more

Horrible horrible horrible service!!! I showed up to store and was the first one to walk in as she opened the door, I was the last one to be helped!!! Took them an hour or so to just check if they had my frame for replacement and call around. They found my frame in Lakewood but after running the rest of my errands I realized I wasn't going to make it. Next day I called the redondo beach store back and asked them to order the frame from Lakewood for me. He said he would call me back right away. Two days have passed so I decided to call back Brandon myself. I had to call about 5 times back to back because there was no answer, even though store had been open for over an hour. I finally got an answer and the woman who answered was extremely rude. She began her interaction by telling me it wAs not her mess so I should call back once they died down. I understand that places get busy but her tone and diction were completely unprofessional. Then I said, you guys already said, you'd call me back once, I'd feel more comfortable getting this resolved right away. Since all they had to do was call a nearby store and get frame transferred, I didn't think I was asking for too much. Especially not after waiting now two days for a all back. Her answer to my request was, I did not say anything, I'm putting you on hold. Finally Brandon came to the phone and said he will order the frame, finally, and asked for my number again. Apparently, he not only failed to order my frames two days ago but admitted to losing my number as well. This is my second terrible experience with them. If you are in the South Bay Area I recommend making the trip to del amo. They have superior and more competent staff. read more

Avoid this Lenscrafters! This is the third time I've gotten an inappropriate pair of glasses from Lenscrafters over the past five years. I do have a pair of lenses from another Lenscrafters that still works well for reading/computer, but the people at the RB Lenscrafters will not give me a copy of the prescription (and I've lost my copy). By law, my medical information belongs to me, and the corporate offices of Lenscrafters said they'd contact the RB store and tell them they have to give me copies of my older prescriptions. The doctors at RB double-book (the more people they see, the more money they make), and although I had an appointment for both my exam and for my follow-up (because the glasses didn't work), I had to wait two hours each time. For nothing. And get this -- the first time I was told the doctor had a patient with an emergency. An optometry emergency? What might that be? They were spending more money than me? Ophthamologists have patient emegencies, not optometrists. I could go on forever, but just trust that the Redondo Beach Lenscrafters has fouled me up several times and my husband twice. There are better places around. Find one. read more
