This was probably the fastest I've ever submitted my eye exam documentation and received my pair of glasses! I worked with the Assistant Manager (I forgot his name), who took his time, going through pair after pair of sample glasses with me, having me set each one aside for disinfecting. He was also very honest about which ones gave me the right "look". This is important to me because I don't need anyone saying, "Oh my God, you look so awesome in those" when I actually look like Sherman Klump. I told him my wants and needs and he saw to it that they were met. I can't thank him enough for his candor, kindness and prompt delivery of the finished product. I'm just sad he was off the day that I picked them up. Still, the person that finished my transaction was just as efficient. read more

Dr. was good, very thorough. East African lady that helped me with frames was great, real friendly. The receptionist that began my exam seemed cold, never made eye contact, just not interested. The prices are outrages, and I called the next day to see if they could e-mail me my receipt so I could claim it through my work system and was told no. So the bad outweighed the good. The eye exam and frame selection were great. Everything after that felt like dealing with the stereotypical used car salesmen. Can you tell me you're on commission without saying you're on commission? I've purchased glasses completely out of pocket before at other vendors, roughly $350, but slick Rick (not his real name) told me my lenses alone were $1,150. Then there was the warranty. The right lens developed a crack on the edge, resembling delamination. At first fast Larry (not his real name either) told me there may have been some rough handling, but quickly changed his tune when he asked how I had been cleaning them. My answer was either with pre moistened lens wipes, the silicon microfiber cloth they had given me, or a clean cotton cloth. Apparently clean cotton is like sandpaper to polycarbonate coated lenses. They waved some $75 fee and ordered replacement lenses. Not even 2 weeks after I got the new lenses the same cracks started appearing. My time is valuable to me and it's ridiculous that I have to chase down the same issue a second time. read more

I purchased a pair of prescription glasses and the sales person did not warn me of the underlying problems with Oakley brand .. Being as expensive they are I'll have to wear slippery glasses for two more years since the associate was in a hurry to make a sale .. I have to go in for adjustments every month .. Great service!! I like to be left alone when I shop for things, I get anxious when employees hover and check up multiple times. I was greeted and asked how I could be helped as soon as I stepped in. I did not get my eyes checked here, but brought in my prescription in to find lens. There wasn't an overwhelmingly amount of lenses (thank goodness), yet there were many varieties. I quickly found a pair that I loved. The associate grabbed my VSP info and quickly pulled up numbers, they actually took measurements of my eyes and with the glasses on to make sure the lens will be custom to my eyes. I was in and out fast, but very efficient. I wished I got the associates name, she was so kind and helpful to me. I'm excited to pick up my new glasses! read more

Super friendly and patient staff. I got new vision insurance and the receptionist sat with me for well over 10 minutes cheerfully explaining my discounts and final cost for different options. The optometrist explored my options for new contacts type and let me try a few before we make a final decision. Everything was super well explained and all my questions answered. This place has amazing customer service! I have been going here for my contacts, glasses, and eye exams for a little over 1 year now. I was in there today getting my glasses adjusted and while they were straightening the frames out they accidentally broke my glasses. The staff were very apologetic and were able to turn the bad situation around. They allowed me to choose a replacement pair for no charge. The were very professional and kind. So, I guess this store is doing really good that they are not interested in keeping current customers. I "did" like going there which is why I reached out to them for a little help to gauge costs without insurance and before I scheduled a trip/visit to them. I recently moved to Dayton but I am in that area on occasion and wanted to continue doing business there but they suggested I use a facility closer to me. If I wanted a facility closer, I would have called them instead. Sad because now, I just don't want to use Lense Crafters anymore if my business means that little to them. read more

After getting my exam I took my prescription and frames to the sales person. I had my frames purchased there from the previous year and just wanted the lenses replaced. I told them I wanted the same thing as last time-the anti glare. The sales person said she highly recommended the blue filter for anti glare so I agreed-assuming she actually knew what she was talking about. Turns out, their fancy blue filter is NOT AT ALL anti-glare. So after wearing my glasses for a few hours It was clear that there was some sort of mistake. When I called in about it they are like yeah, that's not anti glare, and proceeded to tell me they will charge me to re-do the lenses-the same cost I paid originally. I don't have the money for that so I'm stuck with these lenses until I can. There was no apology, in fact the person I talked to could have cared less that I was told wrong and ignored the fact that I only got the blue filter because the sales person was wrong. I will NEVER return to this location ever again. read more

Zero stars should be an option. Beware the Reynoldsburg location of LensCrafters. Employees will charge you for tests not covered by insurance, without obtaining consent, and present you with the highest lens package as your only option, without telling you there are other options. This is all completely fine with management AND corporate, and they will pretend they had nothing to do with it and no control over the "independent" attached doctor, even though they apparently share employees. Never again will I or anyone in my family go to any LensCrafters store anywhere. Deceptive, deceitful, and downright disgusting. read more
