Purchased $400.00 Kate Spade glasses Oct 2024. Never a big fan of the glasses thought they would grow on me. Glasses became cloudy and could never keep them clean. Finally got around to going back with glasses simply asking they remove the anti glare and buff my lenses. Was told sorry been more than a year buy a new pair nothing we can do for you. Well these are glorified 400.00 reading glasses and the response in my opinion for a local eye doctor was pretty pathetic. I always try to shop local instead of big box but in this case big box out shined. Went to Americas Best. cleaned up Pickerington eyecare glasses for free. Still cloudy but buffed out the scuff for me. Will never use or refer to anyone ever again. read more

Completed my annual eye exam. Their staff is full of energy and smiles. It was a delightful experience! Covid precautions: Face mask is required and they check temperatures during check-in. Waiting area: Clean. Organized. Cozy. Properly spaced for social distancing. Waited for about 3 minutes after check-in to be seen (mind you, I was also about 5 minutes late to my appointment - never underestimate Pickerington traffic!) Pre-exam imaging: normal exam (including the air in eye part). During this exam, I could overhear their team being extremely patient with a kiddo who was scared of the machines. I was impressed to hear the methods they used to calm the kiddo, build trust, and help the kiddos through their exam. I would say this place is kid friendly and they give lollipops post exam! With doctor: Dr. Pipo had a booming personality. He was energetic, kind, and really reviewed my case prior to examining me further. You know when docs ask "which is better? One or two?" And you can't tell the difference? He actually explained what the differences were while determining which corrections were needed for my eyes. Post exam: Laura (specialist) helped me with selecting my glasses. I told her the style I typically like and she brought ~10 pairs to try (which all met my preference along with a few fun frames). She helped me narrow the frames down and was extremely patient with me. 30-mins later, I picked the frames that we both agreed- totally matched me and my personality. After selecting the frames she helped me to assess the appropriate additions to make for my lenses and explain insurance coverage. Jessica (front desk) helped me with selecting the appropriate contacts covered by insurance. Overall- Fantastic staff. Fantastic facility. I look forward to meeting my new frames and going back again for my annual in 2022. read more

Dr. Ford wrote me a wrong RX. My glasses came late as I ordered them from online and noticed as I couldn't see. My original rx was -5, she wrote a -7! She wouldn't even see me to fix it. I opted to get glasses online because I was treated like a theif when I looked at frames in the office. Every single step i made a rep was standing right in my face. I couldn't even shop. This is the worst I've been treated in many years, being a black woman I've forgotten how mistreated we seem to get. I talked to an office manager and she seemed uninterested in a customer who was obviously done badly. This is the worst doc office I've seen and every resource and outlet will be told of my experience. read more

Purchased our glasses for our family from here and we're nothing short of satisfied with their facility. They have an awesome staff that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door to when you return for fitting of your glasses. I'm particularly impressed with their patience with each customer. They're priority is making sure that you have what you truly want that will keep you satisfied for the years that you use your glasses. They're well-versed in their products and you can never ask them too many questions. They've also been great about repairs long after your purchase is complete. We've enjoyed some great conversations with their associates in both the waiting room and the sizing/fitting area. My husband and I had two separate appointments but we both had very good experience with the doctor and staff. The office is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and professional and the doctor answered my questions clearly and patiently. They also have a good selection of frames to choose from and with a wide range of prices too. The lady that helped me with the frames was very friendly and helpful and not pushy for a sale. I couldn't decide from three frames so she put the frame info on my account so that whenever I come back I could look at them again and decide whether I want one of them or pick something else entirely. I haven't worn glasses since HS and sunglasses frames are different from prescription ones IMO. Anyway, I really enjoyed the visit and wouldn't mind coming back for my next checkup. Or sooner if I can make up my mind with what frames I want. Lucky for me I don't require them asap. read more

In my experience they are always running on time and are efficient and respectful of my time. All they ask is for a conformation call from me a few weeks before my next scheduled appointment, which I schedule a year in advance at my appointment. I was trying to find an eye doctor closer to home. When I arrived for my first appointment, i noticed the technology was a bit dated compared to my former eye doctor. At the time, I wasn't very concerned. At my appointment I found out that I need different prescription. The frames at the office were ridiculously marked up...even more so than my former eye doctor's office! I decided to take my prescription to a less expensive place. Upon receiving my new glasses (for about half the price I would have paid here), it turns out that my new prescription was not correct. I could actually see better without my glasses than with them! After a call to my the receptionist I found they were happy to schedule another appt for me but would NOT cover the expense of new lenses. Of course if I would have bought the overpriced frames from them, they would have corrected the lenses. But, apparently they don't guarantee the prescription. So, why would I come back for another exam when you've already proved your incompetence? So, needless to say, my former eye doctor is former no longer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS EYE DOCTOR. read more

I also love the wide selection of eyewear options they have. They have something for everyone...regardless of your personal style. A nice place. Staff was nice and helpful. The doctor was a bit curt but the exam was quick. My only dislike was a number of "up charges" that they were pushing for, such as an extra 50 bucks for a "contact" exam, which was in addition to the regular eye exam apparently. Also they will dilate your eyes or you can pay an additional up charge for a different test. It is also in addition to the normal exam and not covered by insurance. read more
