Usually they do ok. Not this time. This time, we had to not only pay an exorbitant price for 4 sets of lenses, over $1100.00 .. but the person who was assisting us kept doing things wrong and actually started putting my medical / optical data into someone else's medical file - and we were so late that my daughter only made it to work with minutes to spare. I work with HIPAA as part of what I do and putting person A's info into person B's medical file ... this is a giant no no. I GET that mistakes happen. But for this company to go to someone who has literally been a LensCrafters client for decades and say 'sorry we cant do anything about it or even take a symbolic amount off your bill for the inconvenience' .. Sorry but, no. I honestly don't know if we will ever do business with that store again. Right now it looks doubtful. read more

Had my eyes checked there in August. Went to Costco for glasses as Lenscrafters prices are to inflated. Got my glasses and had problems seeing. I took them back and they sent them back in and made some adjustments. This didnt help so they suggested I get a recheck. I had it done at Costco and found out that apparently prescription for left eye had been written for right eye. They made appropriate changes and all was well. Went back to Lenscrafters to get reimbursed $35.00 for the re-check and was told that they would not reimburse me. They said they would give me a credit towards hardware. I told them them goodbye as my wife and I would not be back next year for their services. They lost 2 customers over $35.00. Don't waste your money at Lenscrafters. read more

Dr Martin is very professional. He is very knowledgeable about how my different medical conditions affect my eyes. Sometimes I don't want to hear the truth but that's his job. He doesn't sugar coat bad news, but if he did, I wouldn't take it as seriously as I need to. I appreciate his honest, open approach to my health. I've worn glasses for 40 years. My glasses cost a lot. Quality lenses always have. Don't downgrade an office for offering quality products, or truths that you don't like to hear. read more

I will NEVER go there again! My husband and I went to get glasses he got his in 2 weeks had issues with lenses. I had called every week to find out on both, so now mine is in the 3rd week still don't have them, every time I called I got the same story " it might been in our shipment today, we will text you" come to find out mine also had issues and were sent back!!! So this is in the mall...I should have known that but it was a nice cluster*uck until we figured that out. The last place I bought my glasses was in Chicago and I loved them so. Then one day while watching on a movie I sat on my only pair of glasses. I decided whatever the price I better get it fixed. I'm not sure who helped me but she not only quickly fixed my bent frame but cleaned my glasses nicely....and did it for free. I'll probably go here for my next check up, but I thought that was a really nice thing to do and I'm a sucker for good customer service. read more

Whatever you do, do not go to Lenscrafters in the red Cliffs mall for eye care. Like a many here in St. George, my eyes are getting tired and I needed new prescription contacts. I made an appointment and that went pretty good, except for the fact that they had no contacts in stock for me to try on. The doctor recommended I try multifocal contact lens, but said there would be some delays in getting trial contacts. He said usually there's a fee if it takes over 90 days to finalize but that he would waive that fee because of the delays. After multiple fumbles with the ordering of trial contacts the manager of the store demanded $85 for the doctor to see me for just a couple of minutes to change the power. I asked him specifically if I could talk to the doctor and he refused. The doctor did not even have the integrity to talk to me about the verbal agreement we had. So about four months after I started this process I get to start all over with another eye exam at a different provider. Do not waste your time with these people. They lack integrity, and do not honor their word. Go somewhere else if you possibly can. I regret taking my family to this LensCrafters. My son had a bad experience as well. Beware! read more

I couldn't see and stumbled my way in here. They helped me see the light, which I realized was actually just my headlights shining into the store from outside where I had left my car running because I couldn't see my keys. I had my eyes checked and was told I have 20/15 and that the reason I couldn't see was because I had the wrong prescription in my eyeglasses. They removed the lenses and I suddenly could see better. I will return for their expertise and amazing service. read more

Called in advance to make sure they could replace prescription lenses in my sungalsses. They told me yes. After I get there and wait 30 min they say "fooled you", we cant replace them. Dont use this place, they dont know what they are doing. read more

I received a soft contact lens from my eye doctor on a Friday to wear in the interim between my right eye cataract surgery and my left eye surgery 2 weeks later. I had never worn soft lenses before, and was having a hard time getting the lens out in my doctor's office. This was my first time wearing a soft contact lens. When I was getting ready for bed, I tried many times to remove the lens, but had no luck. I tried utubing it, but I still couldn't get the hang of it. So I went to bed without taking it out. My doctor's office was closed on Sat, so I found an optical shop who said I could come in, and the doctor could remove it. When the doctor removed it, he threw it in his waste basket. I told him that I still wanted to keep it, but he said he couldn't fish it out of the trash because there were several contacts in his trash, and he wouldn't know which won was mine. Since I was paying him for an office visit, the least he could have done was to teach me how to insert and remove the lens. Also my doctor said I could have worn it all week and it wouldn't hurt my eye. He should have told me that too. I was charged $25 for the office visit with a very inept doctor. He should have not thrown away my lens without asking me. I would not recommend LensCrafters to anyone! read more

I had my eye exam elsewhere. Had glasses made elsewhere as well. I have a small face so finding glasses that fit is difficult. While shopping, I notice the nice selection of eye ware. I had another pair made. They called me in three days and said my glasses were ready. They made the adjustments and they fit great. I will go back. read more

Wonderful place with wonderful service and a great selection of products at a reasonable price! This place saved me on a recent trip where I forgot my prescription sunglasses. :( They got me an appointment quickly, and had glasses for me within an hour afterwards! Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of so I could continue on with my trip. Place was also very clean, well run, and everyone was extremely professional. Highly, highly recommend. Because of them, I will be a Lens Crafters customer for life! read more

I hadn't bought glasses in years and forgot how the whole process worked and they were patient and explained everything really well. They helped me figured out exactly what my insurance covered and once I told them we were trying to keep our out-of-pocket cost as low as possible they didn't try to upsell me. I had my eye exam done by my doctor so I don't know how they do with eye exams but the buying process was great and I got glasses I love. read more

I called with an complaint and I was already have a really bad day and all the woman could refer to me on the phone was "honey," "hun," "sweetie," and every other gosh awful pet name there is. Like lady.... no. Please don't call me that when I'm mad. Not to mention she had to run back and forth, back n forth, to the doctor to ask questions. Like cmon.... know your stuff. My less than one year old frames from a private California optometrist bit the dust. Lenscrafters was the only place to carry the brand. They helped me to select a new frame so the California optometrist could replace them. Very accommodating considering they were not getting my sale. I appreciate that and will now return to them for my eyewear needs. read more

I am sure the great reviews are from family or friends. Truth is this is the worst experience we have had. These people are all smiles when they are selling you glasses and all the upgrades but service after really is so bad I complained the the corporate office and guess what, that service was just as bad. After spending 500 cash and plus what the insurance paid it took four weeks to get my wife's glasses. That is after being told 7 to 10 days. The bad part is we had to contact them as to why we have not got the glasses and then each person gave us some BS story that were just plain lies. We know they were lies because we knew the true answers. After complaining to them three times and expecting a call back we never got one. Emailing the corporate office is a mistake as well because we got basically a "Oh Well" response from them. Go someplace else and stop believing in LensCrafters lies. read more

My daughter went in at 2pm for an eye exam, she filled out the paperwork stating what insurance we had. Fast forward 4 hours latter through the contact and glasses selection with the "manager on shift" Justin, he proceeded to tell her she would have to pay 25.00 for an eye exame and 45.00 more because of the contact exam while admitting that they screwed up because they don't take our insurance and didn't inform her, Justin then found it In His heart to take the trial pair of contacts from her eyes throw them away, only to send a young girl to drive home visually impaired! But hey we are not going to charge you for our screw up. Lens crafters I expected more from you, I expected you to take care if my child who is off at college since I couldn't be there for her and you failed you sent a young girl blind and in tears out your front door! read more
