A week later after paying invoice in full, they said we owed $12 more and could not clearly explain why. I came to an agreement that if I paid that, they would leave us alone. Another week later I get a letter in the mail saying," Please pay ASAP, thanks." APPARENTLY we owed another $60 for who knows what (they couldn't explain). I called them and they said that it was a mistake. Moral of the story is, they do this because most people are too scared to call and argue to get their money back. TOTAL money grab, scammers at best. Will NEVER be returning or recommending this place.

He said that i could only get the very best Clearview 3 lenses there. They are such high quality that Medicare would not cover them so it would all be out of pocket (9K). He said that when the surgery was complete that I would be able to throw away my glasses, that I would be able to see clearly near and far and wouldn't even need readers. That was in October of 2024. My vision has been cloudy in both eyes ever since. I have been back to see Paul and he has written two prescriptions for glasses, neither of which is any better that my poor vision without them. He has given me no explanation for why this has occurred. I've been to other specialists to see if I can have these removed and replaced and was told that I might end up with a detached retina so I'm stuck with these. I also wrote an email and a letter to Bryan Monson who seems to be good friends with Paul. I described my experience and have not received any response. To say that Paul Gooch overpromised and underdelivered is an understatement. Not sure what his exact relationship with Monson vision is but I can tell you that trusting Paul was a huge mistake. I mentioned this to Dr. Todd and he began his "quest" to find the reason. After several exams and a couple of different pair of lenses he actually made a significant improvement in my vision. Instead of being able to only read for a few minutes at a time I can now read for an hour or more without taking a break! This means the world to me and I will be forever grateful!! I had my first surgery…read morewas there at Southwest surgery, (there surgery center) to fix a dislocated inner ocular lens which resulted in my retina being detached. 2 more surgerys at the Moran eye center in SLC and my eye is still useless. One more surgery to go. The Moran eye center gave me financial assistance because of my low income and accepted Medicare as paid in full. I paid off Southwest surgery except for 1$75. I asked for financial assistance. "We don't do that." They sent my $175 bill to a collection agency. Look out if you need financial help!
