Had such a weird customer service experience. I tried to place an online order through Chow Now and was experiencing issues and the order would not go through. I called in and explained how I could not place the order online and if I could place my order through the phone and still use the promo code for a discount. The lady on the phone was helpful and said when I come in I could tell them what the code was and they would apply it to my order. However, when I went in to pick up my order & explained the situation the lady who helped me on the phone was not there and it was somebody else. She didn't know how to help so she called the owner to verify. She told me they were unable to apply the discount since it was through Chow Now and not directly through them. The waitress even over heard the situation and said she remembers the previous lady who answered my phone call say that they would allow it. But she still wouldn't even try to understand the situation and just kept saying she couldn't. Overall, it was a weird experience and not worth arguing about. As repeat customer over the last several years I would give Leo's Kitchen 4 stars. The quality of the ingredients is good and the chefs typically come up with tasty and interesting sushi fusion dishes. However, this last meal has an egregious lack of quantity. For $20 the poke nachos had such a small serving of ahi and krab that my family will refrain from eating here in the future. This problem also extends to their sushi rolls. I cannot in good conscience recommend Leo's Kitchen since other similar meals with better proportions can be had elsewhere in the city for less. read more

We actually ordered takeout from Leo's Kitchen on Christmas Day for our family dinner. It was just easier than cooking, and we were excited to relax and watch Stranger Things together. SD Roll: cream cheese, avocado, salmon, tempura fried, topped with jalapeño, spicy mayo, siracha dot and eel sauce - we loved the creaminess and how each flavor complimented the other. Tiger roll: cucumber, avocado, crab, shrimp tempura topped with avocado, eel sauce, spicy mayo and sesame seeds - something fried, something sweet and something spicy. What more do you need? OMG roll: cucumber, avocado, crab, shrimp tempura, topped with spicy crab, jalapeño, eel sauce and sesame seeds - simple but still tasty. Kids teriyaki bowl - the teriyaki sauce was balanced, the chicken cooked well and the veggies fresh. We paid roughly $88.60 (with tip). It was a complete hit and nothing was left behind! Everyone kept asking where it was from. She seemed angry and upset the entire time, which made our dining experience uncomfortable. From the beginning, she told us that we had less than 15 minutes to order off the happy hour menu and made it clear that if we ordered anything from it, we wouldn't be able to take it to go without paying full price. While we understand restaurant policies, the way she delivered this information felt unwelcoming rather than helpful. On top of that, she didn't bring us utensils or chopsticks, and when I tried to lighten the mood with a joke about ordering first (since it was my birthday), she didn't even crack a smile. My friends and I were honestly shocked at her demeanor. I want to emphasize that I still love this restaurant for its food, but this experience left a bad impression. I've been wanting to try this place for a very long time but today I stopped by and was very disappointed. Service: I came in around 11:45 with my husband and was the only person inside. The waitress came over and when we asked for recommendations, was monotone and not friendly at all. It seemed like she did not want to be there. Came in for the Poke but was thrown off by the ambiance. They are located in a strip mall with both a front and back entrance. We walked in on a Sunday evening and was seated quickly. We ordered a Large Hula bowl and didn't make any changes. I was most thrown off that the tuna was flavorless, not being seasoned with anything. It was also hard enough to bite into. Everything else was good from the toppings to the sauce to the miso soup. This spot seems like more of a pickup/to-go spot. food ordered - miso ($3): we shared a miso to start. the tofu was yummy but the soup was just very standard. - platter #4 (4 starred rolls, $46): my boyfriend and I shared the platter #4. We chose 2 red dragon rolls and 2 lemon cilantro rolls which were $13.75 and $14.75 each on their own, so we definitely got a good deal! Our favorite was the lemon cilantro roll because the lemon slice adds so much freshness! The red dragon roll was very flavorful with the sauces. The pieces were also very big. We got so full off of this platter!! This is a great choice for casual sushi! I'm usually not picky with my sushi so I thought the rolls tasted great. read more
