I went to the medspa last week for Isolaz, which I frequently need as I have random breakouts and need those under control. One I got one on my lip, I decided I was in urgent need of ANOTHER facial. I absolutely cannot stand acne! I just booked for an Isolaz treatment but when I arrived this amazing esthetician told me that what I really needed was a deep cleansing facial (and that she would do some isolaz as well). I had one literally the week before but I trusted her and boy did she deliver!!! She did this clay mask that literally made my face feel like it was on fire but after 15 seconds it subsided. I was like "is it supposed to feel like this?!" She did a clay mask and their signature pumpkin mask. I think it hurt more so for me because I was in the sun that morning so my skin might have been a tiny bit sunburned so I recommend not being in the sun like 24 hours prior to getting anything done around the face. Anyways, immediately I could see real results. I got the glow back to my skin. My acne was gone. My pores looked sooooo beautiful!!!! Honestly, it usually takes me a few days to see full results but I saw mine immediately. She did some oxygen on my face, some masks, and some isolaz but it was exactly what my face needed. FRAUD/SCAM ALERT! Upon closing of the practice in Miami Beach in December, the customers were promised a refund of their services that were not completed. These refunds were to be processed in February according to staff. It is now mid-March and no refund has been received. They have scammed their patients into paying thousands for services to then not even refund it back! Now, they have changed the number to contact them and when you call the girl says she does not know anything about it! I have filed complaints with the FTC and BBB. read more

I got a Groupon here over a year ago, I started with my Bikini line. I made all my appointments ahead of time because I noticed they are pretty busy (which I took as a good sign) . The first time I went I wore my underwear, the laser hit my underwear and caused a huge spark, it scared us both, we just laughed it off- she seemed confused but at the time I didn't care. Since I was already going I added my underarms and paid full price, which I was told I could pay in payments. I paid half and my next appointment was due to pay the rest, I have now given my card 3 times and every time they never charged my card, the lady never remembers who I am and that I already signed the authorization form 3 times and gave her my card again every time, she seems oblivious to any previous appointments we have had. She also never remembers what I am having done, every time I come in she thinks i'm still having my bikini line done. My rating is completely based off of the customer service, maybe if I had gone to someone else i'm sure I would have loved it. I tried multiple times to call them and their phone system was still live and they still would not return my calls asking simply to be refunded. I have been to this Dr in the Miami location. He has moved around extensively and sends numerous emails to his patients. I opted out and am still getting them. I would not recommend this physician to any of my friends in the Miami or Ft Lauderdale area period. I've been coming here for almost 2 years for total body laser hair removal. The office staff is very strict on appointment time and scheduling, they are always booked but as long as you stick to your appointments and arrive on time there shouldn't be a issue. I went to him for under eyes fillers... mine wasn't bad but I could use some help, he use VoBella on me and to me the result barely there... when I brought it up to him, he said and I quote "The darkness under the eyes is not going to improve but the depth of the tear trough is much better. I have been receiving laser hair removal at Miami Beach Plastic Surgery Center for several months, and have had several disappointing experiences with staff members. More than one receptionist has been incredibly brusque and unaccommodating, giving the impression that I was bothering them with my questions. Further, when I decided I was interested in Botox I was given a reasonable price for the area in question during my initial consultation with the doctor. When I returned a few weeks late for my appointment, I had to sit in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before being seen, during which time I was told that I had to complete the same form I completed during the consult. The receptionist did not appreciate being questioned as to why. After being taken back into a procedure room, it was another 20 min before I was seen by the doctor--who instructed the tech to apply numbing cream, which would take another 5-10 min. to work, and then he would be back to do the injections. As she was applying the cream, I was told that the price for the injections would actually be double what I was quoted. When I questioned the price, another tech was sent in to give me her sales pitch, cautioning me that if I went to another doctor, I wouldn't get the results I wanted. I finally left over an hour later--without receiving the injections. (Based on past experiences with Botox, I've been in and out of the doctor's office in 20 min. or less.) Having already paid for the laser hair removal, I returned for my next appointment. I have definitely noticed results. However, when I recently attempted to reschedule an upcoming appointment, their next available appointment wasn't until late January, and the receptionist I spoke to was unnecessarily curt. This is another issue--they are only open on week days and they close around 6--which is unhelpful if you're a professional. Needless to say, I've switched doctors. read more

So unprofessional, the phone number on their website is wrong you have to literally do a in depth search to find some form of getting in contact with them. THis place is the WORST medical office, the WORST service. They have negative attitude, unorganized, and they make a point every time to make you feel "unimportant" or "cheap" if you buy your services through any online deals. They cancel on you, then they dont remember. They make it IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment, so if you buy an online deal, its very difficult to get your appointments in. Once you've bought your package, then they try to sell you another package and convince you to get it under payments. Once you are in, then they forget about the payments and want it all upfront. If you are planning on getting any hair removal packages, this is NOT the place to go. AWFUL SERVICE. I rather give my money to charity as long as I never have to see their reception again. I bought this Velashape treatment on Groupon and I had a horrible expirience. The person who did it was not into it at all, did not explain anything that was going on. First of all, it hurt! It didn't always hurt but I'm convinced that she was doing it wrong because she would leave it in one area too long and it would burn that I would jump! Horrible. And when I would mention the pain wasn't bareable, she wouldn't say anything. I would ask questions (to make conversation too) and she would give me these half assed answers like "It might.".. The service here was not good. The treatment was very uncomfortable. I've read that its supposed to feel like a hot massage, wrong. I also lost an already paid for session because I was late and they would not reschudle. Hate to be the bear of bad news but I do not reccomend this place. read more

On July 2nd, of this year I went to get fillers first time for my nasolabila folds and for my under eye circles. When one gets fillers for under eye circles it's very hard to impossible for there not to be any bruising because the doctor will most likely hit a vein. Now, I've known many women who would obtain dermal fillers for under eye circles and all of those women would have black eyes shortly after this procedure. I honestly had no bruising. So I figured I was maybe the lucky 1/100 with no black eyes or downtime. When I went to work a lot of my co-workers were impressed. Two of the girls I work with went back to my doctor after seeing my results and also got fillers underneath there eyes. Both were able to come back to work the next day with no bruises. This doctor is a needle magician!!!!!! Now, I used juverderm when I got my fillers injected and its SUPPOSE to last 6-12 months for the average person. Unfortunately for me and my lifestyle it won't last nearly that long. My body naturally was able to metabolize the hydaluronic acid a lot faster than an average person. I'm also extremely athletic, I drink a lot of water, and I'm very skinny for my height. So those are all main factors on why juverderm may not last as long on me as to another person. So as of today the areas that I originally got the fillers injected still look noticeably better then before but I could tell that I needed (or wanted) a touch up. So I went to the doctor today. He looked at my chart and noticed I got injected 2 1/2 month prior and he refused to give me another injection. The reason was because I guess over time it could give you bumps in the injection area, but I still argued and begged for him to do it. He wouldn't. He is a very honest plastic surgeon. Most plastic surgeons in south florida would just take my money and poke me tell I was satisfied but not worry about the long term effects. So since getting a touch up of juvederm was out of the question, and my face was already numbed I figured I should try botox. I have never done it before. It's been about 3 hours since I got injected and I don't think I'll get any results immediately. I got a small amount and my face isn't frozen yet. I'll let you know my results in a few days. Also if you need a chemical peel or facial I highly recommend coming here. There is an aesthetician named Rebecca who has done wonders for my face. Miami beach plastic surgery center offers a variety of different procedures, Ive only tried a few but all I can say is Dr.Tachmes and Rebecca Samora are two talented and honest individuals. Great service, effective treatment, reasonable prices. After six laser treatments so far, I'm finally ready to rate the med spa. I love them. I was nervous at the beginning, but they put my mind at ease. I'm sort of body shy, but they helped me feel comfortable and welcomed. That's saying a lot in Miami, a town NOT known for good customer service. My skin is super sensitive so my technician suggested ways to make the treatment less painful. She cared enough to take a bit more time to ease my anxiety and pain. Wow! For the record, my first set of laser treatments were obtained through Groupon. They never made me feel like I was less of a client because I got a Groupon deal. I even bought six more treatments for another area. They set up all 6 of your appointments up front, which I really liked. I had to cancel one of my appointments due to a dog emergency, and they were so nice! They understood and will reschedule me. Dr. Tachmes is the only doctor I completely trust with my lips. He is one of few doctors who does very natural work. Anybody could ever tell that I'm doing a lip injection. The receptionist is really not enjoyable to deal with. After my first laser appt I immediately scheduled my next one. When I showed up for my appointment, she insisted that I had no appt, and never scheduled anything. Ok, really, do you think I wrote it in my calendar without actually scheduling it? No, obviously not. She threw a huge fit and finally the doctor told her to squeeze me in. Another time I called to cancel 24 hours before an appointment. She very snottily informed me that their cancelation policy requires 48 hours notice. Never heard of that one! Refused to reimburse me for that session. Make shore you understand that when you buy full bikini area is only a front area, because technician Revina will not explain you well, and here attitude is the only reason I'm really unhappy after all. Misunderstandings are happening every day and they are not a big deal, but lack off service manures are unacceptable. I have called to have these issue solved, but having talk to manager was just waisting my time cuz she wasn't able to explain me why they are not offering something what they are trying to up charge after all, and she have transfer me to Revina who was more then overwhelm to talk to me, even telling me that she don't understand what is reason why I'm upset, and I was not.
