I have been here for years and they have been raising the rent consistently. They raise it seems every six months. I receive a letter stating it will be going up another $30.00. It may not seem like a lot, but it does make a difference. I have also seen rat feces and had to ask for bait. We have another storage unit in another facility and it's been over a year with no rent increase. I could see raising prices once a year but every six months. I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I been using this storage for out my things there. Last time I went there I found rat in my storage unit. It was so disgusting. I also went by today in the morning. I noticed there was rat feces and urine on the mattress. Also blankets too. There was dead mice on floor corner. I went office and told them the worker came clean it to take mice dead body and didn't say anything or do anything about it. I am so disappointed and I will be going in again to the office and talk to the manager Francis. I also looked other reviews about mice problems. That is so awful she can't do anything and why heck we are paying much and stupid insurance even they won't cove anything. I'm also planning to clean out my unit and never going do storage there ever again. Everyone else need do their storage somewhere else better. read more

Do not store here. We had a bad case of termites and rat infestation. On top of this our storage unit was broken into and a ton of things were stolen. Their required insurance you pay for monthly does not cover any of these things. We lost out on so much money and were not even apologized to about the horrible mess. read more

We stored our goods here for four months. When the movers went in to move our stuff, they were discusted by the level of rat infestation. They had never seen anything like that, in their history of moving people. We lost several thousand dollars of personal property, a queen sized sleep numbered bed, an arm chair, an ottoman, a three seater couch, in addition the rats got into personnal items. Our insurance company, USAA refused to cover any of the damage. A man two units down from us was also moving out. He said his unit was slso rat infested. He is a retired county health inspector. He said the rat infestation of this level would be grounds for shutting the facility down.moo We ended up paying the movers to take the items to the dump. read more

Great place to store your belongings if you want them destroyed by rats. When I went to empty my unit my belongings had rat feces and urine everywhere. When I spoke to the front office the gal acknowledged they have a rodent problem but guess what, their insurance doesn't cover that. I submitted a claim but no response. Soooo disappointing! Special is a scam to get people attracted:/ I needed a small Closet 4x4 storage fast. So I thought $1 move in special cool. So it's only on line.. okay, u have to have storage insurance or buy from them, & u can't use your lock, it HAS to be purchased with them. & O yeah a one time Admin Fee $24! Not to mention you don't have access most of the time they do not open till 9:30am and they close 5:45pm M-F, when everyone works Sat-Sun they close at 3:45pm. So inconvenient. We got our stuff stolen here, Gate is locked? Management on site? Cameras on property? What happen, We asked the management to check cameras, ( nothing on camera ) Well ok, now to make things more interesting INSURANCE wont cover ??? I have been a client for several years now and I will say without a doubt that the last 2-3 years have changed my original thoughts of this storage facility. I too had the worst experience with rats destroying my belongings a few years back they move me to another unit and I hoped for the best. Changes didn't happen overnight but great things did noticeably change. I currently occupy a 10x30 ft space that is rodent FREE, facility is clean, the price is right and thank goodness for the on-site manager!! Sorry if I spell her name wrong but, Francis (manager i think) has been more than willing to help and answer all my hundreds of questions when i have concerns and follows up with a corrective action when necessary. So shot out to the current management team for changing my outlook of this facility. I travel to Yuma for winter months and I don't worry anymore about the issues I had in past years. Terrible customer service... I have called 4 times asking how to pay my bill and they cannot bother to return my phone calls. I am a new customer, and it is ridiculous. I was not sure if I signed up for auto bill pay or not, so I called shortly after the 1st to see if my bill has been paid. It is now the 10th and the site manager has still NOT returned my call. I thought for sure I was set up on auto bill pay. I was able to finally reach someone in another office, and they told me my bill has not yet been paid... Why in the world would they not help me with this? I am highly unimpressed, and as soon as I can get my stuff out I will do so. If you have a chance to go elsewhere, do so. read more

This is an update. Shortly after I put the original review up I received a really nice letter of apology from Storage Pro. It was appreciated but I felt as though my review was perfectly fair for my experience. Today a reply was posted to my review that stated that I had agreed to take my original review down. As far as I can remember I never even replied much less said I'd remove the original review, especially as I believe that my review wasn't scathing in any way, just the truth. Anyone can see at this point that it was a full year ago, why throw me under the bus now? Also, the reply states: "Under current management" Well, I was under last years management that this is my honest experience. DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!!!!! If I could leave a no stars I would. I must say, they were super nice when we initially signed up. After that they were fake nice. I would call to make a payment and no one would call me back. Of course sometimes I would forget that they didn't call me back and by the time I reached out again, I had a "late" charge. To top it off, if you do not remove your items by the last day of the month, you are responsible for the full next month. That's a rip off! The last day of the month for us was a Friday, we just wanted to keep it for the weekend, it was just convenient for us work wise. But no, we would have to pay another month! That's just ridiculous! That's taking advantage of people. What about all those people that can't move into their new place until the 1st of the month??!! They are probably making thousand off of all those people. Please don't rent from this company! Save yourself the headache and loss. Our storage unit was broken into and the owner/managers did not help us at all with regard to the camera footage. They advertise secure storage but the have almost zero security - and even if the cam are considered part of their security - THIS COMPANY WILL NOT HELP YOU BY COOPERATING WITH POLICE OR PROVIDING THE FOOTAGE. Leonard's Lockers does not provide secure storage or any of the other things that they advertise. Your belongings will be safer in the middle of a field. The employees are poorly managed and disappear from their shifts for hours or days at a time. Our decision to rent here was a huge mistake and has been a nightmare for my family. read more

A couple of days later I went to go get my stuff out of storage and I had to take boxes out of my 10 by 10 Locker so I put them along the outside wall in the hallway there Well the lady that runs the place walks by and seen all my stuff out there and jumped all over my case about what if somebody else has to come in and get into their storage I told her I would move it real quick like for them she tells me that I only have 20 minutes to get in and out of there I got to go through a 10 by 10 storage to find what I need how can I do that in 20 minutes I'm like yeah right now it's maybe if I had a 4x5 little storage closet I could probably do it in 20 minutes but anytime I go in there it takes a lot longer than 20 minutes to get in and out of there I think that she don't like it maybe she needs to findanother line of work to get into this takes people a little bit of time to go through their stuff to find what they're looking for people have to go through their storage and it takes them longer than 20 minutes. BEWARE.. Ive rented ftom Leonards Lockers for over 6yrs now.. I had no problems when Veronica was managing it.. BUT when Francis started it started to go downhill.. FIRST off shes VERY rude everytime i call her or go by the office.. I suddenly became infested with MICE.. Not a few... But LOTS N LOTS of them.. So much that tbe feces were coming out of the door.. I talked to Francis and she told me theres nothing they can do about it.. She accused me of maybe i brought them there and handed me traps and thats it.. Like wtf are you serious this isnt how you treat a loyal customer.. Or any human being at that.. I felt very bothered by her actions.. I was never offered any help, Not one SORRY was i told.. All my belongins Cal King Memory Foam, Recliner, Sofa, tv stand Clothes. Blankets, personal stuff and sooo much more was covered in feces snd urine.. I had no choice but to dispose of 80% of my Storage.. Leonards Lockers Management never offered me not even a $20. 00 Credit... NOTHING AT ALL.mind you in took me and 2 other people 12 Days to clean it all.. Which i came out of pocket to pay for help.. AFTER that i noticed i was being charged $8. 00 a month for Insurance..which i knew my isurance had faxed them copies of my coverage so i didnt need to pay an extra fee.. BUT supposedly they couldnt find that they recdived it.. THEY Supposedly had a paper that i signed that j agreed that i wsnted insurance.. Which makes no sense and i gave them proof that my indurance did fax it to tbem and they received it.. BUT when i asked if i csn be credited for sll those months FRANCIS said theres NOTHING THEY CAN DO.. Yet again i wasnt even apologized or NOTHING.. NO REFUND.. NO CREDIT.. the next day i get an email stating that my rent from $106. 00 will be going up to $399. 00.. I DO NOT GET HOW INSTEAD OF MAKING YOUR CUSTOMER HAPPY YOU MADE IT WORSE YET AGAIN.. LEONARD LOCKERS IN SALINAS ARE THIEFS.. THEY WILL DO WHATEVER THEY CAN TO TAKE MORE $$$ FROM YOU.. THEY ARE THE WORST STORAGE DUMP IVE EVER GONE AND RENTED.. I REGRET STAYING HERE.. I must say I am pretty surprised with some of the reviews left about staff being rude or just not caring. Although I have had a few issues regarding my unit I can honestly say that FRANCES especially has been more than helpful in assisting me with and resolving any situations encountered. I've not had any negative interaction with any staff there and am grateful for FRANCES always making me feel like I am the most important customer each time I am in the office. I recently rented an storage unit at Leonard's Locker and I'm glad I did. Location is great and staff are friendly and very helpful.

Good clean facility with a very nice staff that manages the site well. They have a good stock of boxes, tape, and locks if you need them. My only gripe would be adding a few more cameras so I feel more secure. Good hours, good lockers, and good coffee and cookies for the customer. They beat any of the local competition out, can't complain with that. Great move in deals as well! read more
