I just had my second and last visit with this garage. The first visit several months ago I returned home and found a large pair of pliers under the front cowl where the AC charging ports are located after having an AC service. I told myself next time I visited the shop I would return them, and I did on my second and last visit. This second visit, I brought back the large pliers their tech left in a hidden part of the vehicle and left it for a week for a few other things the car needed done. One of those things was an oil change, what should be a simple task for any reputable mechanic. After the oil change, I drove the car five minutes home and parked in the garage. I noticed the car was riddled with black grease smudges and fingerprints all over it. The grease was more than obvious since the day I dropped the car off I washed and waxed it before I found the screw in the tire. I noticed oil smudged fingerprints every where a tech would need to touch or access the car. I then popped the trunk and found three very oily and dirty shop rags left in there with another large tool. This time a screwdriver. I spent an hour cleaning the inside of the car and wiping off the grease prints from the body and moved the car over in the garage and noticed two large drops of fresh oil on the floor. One of my initial complaints was a very slow leak (unknown if oil or another fluid) that would drip once every two weeks (I kept track of it). They were unable to find this leak and described it as possibly "seepage." When I called and told the shop's owner, Nick Leone, I had found two drops of oil in less than an hour he told me it was "probably because it was just degreased" a service he stated was completed on Monday, which was five days earlier. I questioned the amount of oil and location of the leak since the oil filter is underneath this model of car and in the area where the drops were found. He told me I could "bring it by next week" until I explained that this was much more that it was leaking before I brought it in. He then told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I went outside and held my phone under the car and took several photos and found that the oil was leaking from the freshly changed oil filter. I immediately drove the car back to Leone Goodyear and showed him the photo on my phone of the oil dripping from cartridge filter. Nick stated that the seal was probably pinched, and he would have them put a new one on which means another oil change. I then returned the large greasy screwdriver that was left in the car and waited for him to have it fixed. To his credit, he had someone immediately get the car in a bay to address the oil leak. There were some other problems with this visit, and I personally feel they grossly overcharge for parts. I understand that this is a business and not a charity, but if I am going to pay dealership prices I will just go to the actual dealership. I asked for a small price adjustment ($63.00 off my $503.00 bill) for four bolts that I did not need since I provided my own and that were not put back on or in my car when I picked it up. I figured this was the least he could do considering I had wasted most of the day dealing with what I described to him as a very unpleasant experience. Nick refused this $63.00 price adjustment and stated, "these things happen." So, know that when you go to Leone Goodyear, based on what the owner Nick told me, things like; leaving tools in various parts of your car on multiple visits, having your car covered in greasy fingerprints and smudges on every body panel, finding dirty oily discarded shop rags inside of your vehicle, your vehicle leak oil in your garage from a damaged or misplaced oil filter gasket, double and triple charged for parts you can buy cheaper from the dealership or OEM parts store and wasting your day having to arrange multiple rides back and forth due to their poor work, are just going to "happen" to you at Leone Goodyear read more

hello, I have to share my experience(all documents are attached) My son's Camry 2012 clicking noise in steering wheel, I asked those guys for diagnostics , so they came up with almost $3000 repair estimate( invoice is attached). I did not believe in it, did my own research and ended up with DAMPER ELECTRIC POWER STEERING MOTOR SHAFT replacement, it costs less then $20. I paid $47 for diagnostics and asked Nick(owner/manager) to get refund for this but did not receive any. There are 2 options or they are scammers or they are very incompetent. Thanks Max read more

Tom Terrific here with another honest business review. I'm old school. Can anyone tell me why when you go to a business they ask for personal information? Back in the day they hardly asked for your name. Now they want name, address and telephone number. Why? That's what i asked the man behind the counter at this Goodyear Leone. His reply: "For my computer." That's not a satisfactory answer. Does the computer do the tire changing? Is the computer going to ask me out on a date? Is the computer going to come to my house? I turned and walked out and i needed three tires, a light bulb turn signal fix and my horn wasn't working. So the computer cost them what? $400? $500? Take your computer and shove it. Our daughter's car was making a noise and we were concerned she should not drive it. After taking it to 3 different places with one being the Nissan dealership, No one could figure it out! We took it to Leone and THEY were able to! They took their time and diagnosed it "old school". They listened for where the noise was coming from! What a concept! This is a lost art. Businesses are so dependent on computers to diagnose they've lost the art of reasoning. These guys are great! Now we take ALL of our cars there. read more

My son took his truck for a transmission flush and fill and they did not fill it back up with fluid. We had to have the truck towed home and found this out after looking over the motor ourselves. They did offer to fix anything that happened because of this however when we went back to get the truck, it would not accelerate. We also found they did not drop the transmission pan and change the filter. When we took the truck back to them AGAIN, they said they would have THEIR mechanic look at it. They claim nothing is wrong but my truck now has to have the transmission replaced and they will not help. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

We just found out today that we have been grossly overpaying for our tires from Leone Tire. We have been going there for years and we found out today that the tires we have been paying $500 a piece for are $206 at Tire Kingdom. So disappointing, we trusted them. read more

I had a problem with my car overheating and with my front turn signals. I went to Lyons tire about 3 PM. They pressure checked my radiator system and notified me that my reservoir tank had a leak. The part was ordered and two days later it was installed. My turn signals had Corroded sockets and wiring harness had to be ordered too. The service managers kept me informed of the progress of the repairs. They called me when the parts came in, which was convenient. Over all, I was happy with my experience there. Very bad experience place a couple years ago they put the wrong oil in my truck my truck had a diesel and it shut my truck down the dealership clearly stated after 100 miles of use that this was the wrong oil put in my truck they were very uncooperative at this place and refused to address the issue whatsoever worst place to go I would never ever recommend anybody go here very very bad read more

Prepare to be FLEECED! Charged $450.00 to replace a starter in an '02 Ford Escort ZX2. This was AFTER they were kind enough to remove the "diagnostic charge" when they already knew about the problem. Despite being a simple job, I don't mind paying the $120.00 for labor because I understand mechanics need to be paid and shops need to make money but $300.00 for a starter? If anyone can find this part even near that price ANYWHERE, I'd love to hear about it. Also, the job took more than 8 hours to complete and I never got a call when it was finished. I guess this is an okay place if you have lots of time and money to burn? read more

I got BAD SERVICE @ this Goodyear.. I took my jeep into Goodyear because of a surging issue. I was informed that I needed a new computer and it would be $380.00 for one from a junk yard. The part I paid for did not work and I was informed that it would be an additional $560.00 for a refurbished computer. I was able to find a computer for a better price and replaced the computer myself, however the problem remained. I then took my vehicle back to the shop to inquire why the same problem remained. I was again informed that the problem was the computer, so I ordered another computer and worked with the computer company to try and find the issue and I was sent an additional computer. The problem continued so I contacted goodyear to speak to the owner and received no response. I called and left several messages and received no response from the owner even through the store manager informed me that he hand delivered the my messages to the owner. Since I received no response from the store owner I was left wih no choice but to bring my vehicle to the Jeep dealership where my vehicle was repaired the same day. I was informed that the issue was with the TPS (throttle positioning sensor), which was only a $70.00 part not the $960.00 computer that Goodyear diagnosed as the issue. I then drove the Jeep for a week to insure that the issue was repaired. As I still had not received a response from the Goodyear owner I posted reviews about the poor service I received on several media sites. After I posted negative review the store owner finally contacted me. He inquired about the details of my complaint what was going on and asked if he could call me back after he spoke to the shop manager. He then called back approximately an hour later and stated that "My employee has been in the business for a long time" and that the diagnosis was correct and he stands by there work. He refused to refund me the $100 I was charged for the misdiagnoses and the $75 I was charged for the part that they ordered that did not work (as it was not the problem). read more

My daughter had a screw in the tread of her tire that she had bought at this place. AAA came out and put on the spare for her. They told her it was repairable and didn't need a new tire. She took it to Leone's and they tried to sell her a new tire. She took it elsewhere and got it repaired. I wrote this in google reviews and they responded by saying it was in the sidewall. It was not. I wouldn't ever take my car to this place. read more

These guys were great. They took us in immediately with a flat tire from a huge piece of steel lodged in it. They actually had the exact tire to match the set we have, that Walmart was going to take a week to ship, and had us on our way in about 20 minutes! They won our business for future needs. read more

This will not let me leave 0 stars, so I can only leave one we took our to have the belts replaced and when we left the next day it started squealing. So instead of driving all the way there again we took it to another shop owned by the same family. That shop told us that the fan was causing the noise, seems kinda funny that before we took our car there it was not making any loud noise at all and now we are stranded cause the fan is now broke and we cant drive it. I am so disgusted with this shop right now, I should have just changed it myself. We will never use this shop ever again. I think that they did something to my car so I would bring it back to be repaired again. I would not recommend this shop to my enemies let alone my friends. The customer service is lacking as well rude and making excuses. I you are reading this stay away from Leone auto repair they are not honest and will rig your car to break down so you have to bring it back. read more

Took my Jeep Wrangler here because Flammer Ford installed a part that was causing a noise that they couldn't diagnose - really???? - although it was difficult to locate, Leone's found it and corrected it, and my weeks of hearing a screeching metal on metal sound were over! Not honest. Charged me 70 dollars to do a diagnostic and told me I had to replace the manifold line on my ac for 540. Was not the problem. Went to ice cold air and I have ice cold air and it's not the manifold hose. They won't give me back my 70 for the incorrect diagnosis. Run. Don't walk away. read more

Had my car towed to this place and initially needed a new battery......then I paid about $80 for a diagnosis of the vehicle and they diagnosed it as the Computer Issue which caused the Coils to go bad which needed replacing as well. $2,400 later, they said the car was ready and good to go. You would think after paying that much money in a shop......it would ride like new or they would have at least made sure it was running properly with no issues. The next day, it brakes down again for the Same reason I brought it in in the first place.......and what do you know.....all of a sudden its the catalytic converter, which in turn cause the coils to fry and the computer to go bad.....let it be known that the catalytic converter was Never mentioned in the first diagnosis.........That drew a Red Flag and I took my car to my trusted mechanic that has been in the business for over 35 years, and he basically told me I was ripped off.......even showed me the same parts and same location where he gets the parts that were on my bill were cheaper than what I was charged at Goodyear. He even questioned the re-programming of a refurbished computer as all the computers he receives are programmed.......and would never charge $150 reprogramming fee none the less..............in the end, you need to stick with mechanics you can trust and not rip-off artists. Lesson Learned. Don't you make the same mistake. My opinion of course. read more
