My husband had an issue with his AC, and went in on a whim because Leo's was close by and was able to help over the phone before bringing it in. They took care of the job and only charged the minimum necessary for labor. Fast forward, I had an issue with my car's electrical. Leo remembered us, talked my husband through some troubleshooting and asked a few questions. Then recommended taking it to the dealer as it should have been covered by warranty. If he had given me a dollar amount, I probably would have had it fixed on the spot. He was honest, and the dealer did in fact take care of it. Something I hadn't even considered. Great service and accountability. Took my vehicle in for motor mounts, an A/C flush and a transmission flush. They took care or it all with a smile. Something even went terribly wrong with a defective filter, and though it took about a week longer than expected, they took care of it all and didn't charge me a dime. They also washed my car! Called to see if they can replace a rear main seal. They said no, we don't do that kind of work. Then I asked if they do transmission work. Again, person who answered phone said no. Looking at their Yelp listing, they seem to cover mostly any repair. I guess what I needed is not on their list. read more

The car was done at the quoted time, and I have received numerous checkups from Leo to make sure everything is ok. I don't give 1/5 star reviews often, as this is my only one out of almost 20 reviews. I needed a new starter for my car and I was led to believe I would be getting a new one. Well the starter worked for 2 days and then it died. I had to take my car to the Dealer where I had a new starter placed. I was told by the dealer that Leo's replaced my old starter with another old one and that's why it died so quickly. To make things worse I was still quoted a lower bill with a NEW starter at the dealer than an OLD one at Leo's. I would definitely stay away and advise others to do so. read more

Avoid this mechanic shop, our van broke down near it in summer 2020 and they sensed our desperation and overcharged us with an alternator for $700. As of today, September 2021, a year later I have been hearing a sound when I start the vehicle, so I had a mechanic look at it, he said it was the alternator. I told him that was replaced a year ago, he said they must have used a refurbished/remanufactured alternator, because a new one would not be making that sound. A brand new alternator would of cost us less than $200. So now we have to replace it again :(. So please, save your money and go somewhere else, these guys are not honest. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. When Leo's first opened I took my truck in to get a catalytic converter installed. I picked it up and as I paid and was leaving, Leo grabbed my receipt and wrote no warrantee. My truck ran like crap after that. I took it to a different place on valley and they said the catalytic converter was for a car. So you have to pay twice. If you look at all of the 5 stars they all say he's HONEST....... Now why is that? That's a weird thing to say in every review. read more

My car broke down on the way in to work. Luckily I pulled off the freeway on Pacific and remembered seeing a autoshop before. My car did not even make it to the mechanics driveway. I went over and spoke to LEO the owner. He crossed the street with me and popped the hood. He right away told me what he saw was wrong. He was able to move my car to the shop, and gave me a free quote once his staff got under my vehicle. He was very fair and reasonable in price. Overall a very nice person. Been going to Leo for several years now. I've referred friends and they have all been happy. I take my cars, my mom's car, heck even my mother-in-laws car. Leo is honest and will show you the used or replaced parts if you ask him to. You will not find too many auto repair shops like this. You can usually tell a good shop from a bad shop based on the clients you see or the number of cars they are actually working on. Many times you will see shops with cars that are parked to make it seem like they have a lot of business, but it is all smoke and mirrors. NOT HERE, I've waited around and can tell you that every car at each station is being worked on. In any event, I know Leo's prices are competitive, definitely lower than the dealer, maybe a little more than other shops, but with my experiences sometimes paying a little extra for service and knowing that the shop will be there next month is worth it. I say you give Leo a fair chance and I am sure you will be happy with the service and promised time. You will come back for oil changes and brakes. read more
