Absolutely the worst customer service and follow up EVER. It was over 3 days, need a cake for a birthday party. Emailed twice, left numerous messages. Finally got someone on the phone. Promised to call me right back. CRICKETS! Now, because of their lack of follow up, I am forced to try and find another resource for my party one day away. UNACCEPTABLE. I would not trust them with a simple birthday cake, much less a wedding or other event. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star. My husband bought a Black Forest cake for my birthday yesterday, and it was the most disgusting and inedible cake I have ever had. The chocolate ganache is so rock hard (picture for proof) and thick is was like fondant. The "whip cream" is marshmallow fluff. Sticky like gum. The cake itself was so dry it fell apart when cutting (also see picture). There was no liquor soak either: if there had been, the cake would be moist. The entire cake cost almost $70 and was utter trash. Called to complain and nothing was offered accept excuses from what sounded like a teenager. Save your money, and taste buds. This place is a scam. They cover their cakes with fondant and sugar glaze to look appealing. I've had better cake at a toddlers birthday party. Anyone giving this place a high review has got to be geriatric and lacking a major sensory. read more

They took the cake inspiration I sent (emailed) and they made it even better! We just moved from Cleveland and Best's bday was fast approaching. We are new in town and I'm happy that fellow Yelpers led me to Leo's! Best was a bit homesick for Cleveland so I found a Browns themed cake on Pinterest and sent it over to Leo's Cakery. I asked them to do what they feel is best, in keeping with the theme. We were so happy with the result :) The custom cake was personal and picture perfect!! I recommend their whip icing because it's tasty and isn't overly sweet :) I chose a marble cake with real strawberry filling (per celebrant request). Leo's said they can fulfill most flavor and filling requests but I bought (to sample) a slice of marble cake in their display. I liked the level of sweetness and chose it for its simple, classic flavor. My best advice? Don't pick up at high noon like me. Clear room in the fridge and go a day prior to your event (in the morning) when traffic and the weather is kinder to cake :) That way if any of your party preparations are running behind, at least the all important cake is already on hand. I'm glad I brought a large cooler with blue ice packs, bc this Oklahoma summer has been in the 90-100+ degrees. (I grabbed these stylish candles from the dollar tree. Buyer beware...my fiancée and I went into Leo's to order the cake for our wedding. The lady took down our order but never discussed there would be a penalty if we canceled. On our way out we bought a sample of the cake it was horrible so the next day we called to canceled and at that point we were informed of the . $100.00 penalty. The most work that went into this order was writing the order down, Wow! What a horrible way to make money. read more

They weren't very friendly when I inquired of their services for my son's birthday cake. They kept going to a back area located behind the cake counter and behind curtains to "retrieve information." One employee even took my phone back there behind the curtains without my permission to show my cake idea to the chief baker--poor choice/bad policy in my opinion. The chief baker also quoted a price for my desired cake that was WAY too high- telling me small cakes can still require a lot of labor. I'm sorry, but a cake smaller than a cake mixing bowl should not cost more than my monthly car note...or more than hourly labor a mechanic performs on my car. ‍ We also ordered a "birthday" flavor cupcake in order to taste the cake. Although the cake was yummy, it took the chief baker 10 minutes to retrieve it (from back behind those curtains again). read more
