Went here for gluten free cupcakes. Worth the cost and wait. My mother loved them and the staff was friendly

We tried the Too Good to Go box and were underwhelmed - it seemed like a small quantity for the price. I was expecting more baked goods and didn't realize it could be all cupcakes. We had two kinds that we liked and didn't care for the rest. I am not even sure what we liked and didn't like as it wasn't labeled. We later had a friend bring cupcakes from here and they were absolutely delicious, even the GF options, which are hard to find- especially ones that taste good! So I don't know what the difference was... but I would probably only order if I knew what I was getting and could hopefully sample it first. I do like that they have vegan options, since we have several friends with egg allergies - this gives them a local option to still enjoy treats. read more

Love finding gluten free sweets. Staff greeted us on entering and was helpful with options and understanding which items were allergen friendly. A few tables inside for enjoying treats. Pastries were a mixed bag. Gluten free vanilla cupcake had nice flavor. Dense and moist without being chewy. Icing was ok. Good flavor but slightly grainy. Lemon bar was a disappointment. Crust partly done with flour taste. Unpleasant texture to bar and badly lacking in lemon/ citrus "pop". read more

This place is quaint, and cute, and nestled right in Nichols Hills and all the other stores so perfect to stop by and have a sweet treat and a coffee. I also love that they do have gluten free and vegan stuff, so perfect if you have dietary preferences. Cons are that none of their stuff is labeled? I think it was about 4$++ for a cupcake, which is about standard for a café like this - but because there's zero descriptions, you run into asking the cashier what every little cupcake is and that just takes quite a bit of time. The coffee was pretty good, but we will not be returning as the cupcake was a little dry, and the buttercream was pretty gritty and way too sweet. I did love the aesthetic though! This is a super girly and bougie coffee shop that is more of a bakery than anything. They have so many cupcakes and cookies and apparently a very good coffee cake which I somehow missed. For less than $10, I ordered a lemon blueberry cookie which is massive (so sweet I couldn't finish it) and a 12oz hot vanilla latte with soy milk (I love shops that still carry soy milk, it is higher in protein). It's located in Classen Curve across the street from Lululemon and Gorjana and Sephora. The girl working behind the counter was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. read more

Oh my goodness- this place is so delicious!!! First it was so hard to choose what to get- everything looked drool-worthy! We tried the cinnamon bread loaf, blueberry-lemon cookie and a salted caramel cupcake. Every single bite was perfection. Desserts were moist, sweet but not overwhelming. Service was great. She was very friendly and answered my 26377 questions :) They do have gluten free and vegan options available but we didn't try any of those. I guess the recipes have changed since the ownership changed. i used to buy cupcakes from this place almost weekly and they used to be delicious! I purchased 2 cupcakes for $8. I took a bite and the icing fell off onto the floor. The taste was giving very much box cake and that I could have made it myself at home. Not good. There are better cupcake places in town. There are worse cupcake places in town. Green Goodies (GG) is somewhere in the middle. GG offers pretty cupcakes, in nice packaging, and they're displayed in a clean space. Those elements are certainly helping set GG apart from other places that have cupcakes that are way more delicious, but aren't necessarily as pretty looking (e.g. Cuppies & Joe). On that note, some of GG's cupcakes are offensively unpleasant. The Thin Mint cupcake is one of the worst tasting cupcakes I've ever had the displeasure of eating. There was way too much mint extract in the icing, and it officially qualifies as the most toothpaste-esque thing I've eaten in my life. And the cake being dry doesn't really help matters either. Just thinking about that cupcake makes me so mad that I'm actively debating right now on whether this is a [*][*][*] or [*][*] review... The other cupcakes I've had recently were fine, but none of them are going to leave you wanting more. I don't think I'd ever use the word "moist" to describe GG's cupcakes. Also, the overuse of buttercream icing is meh, because that's some low-effort icing. Even the cream cheese icing (on the Red Velvet for example) barely had that delicious tang that you expect with cream cheese icing; it was mostly muted because it was mixed in with buttercream icing. GG is kinda coasting on the clientele that frequent Classen Curve (read: the neighboring Nichols Hills folks), who for the most part seem to have more money than taste... I have eaten here several times, and never been disappointed or sick. I wanted to bring some breakfast treats to some friends, so I placed an order. I called on Tuesday and was able to pick up on Friday after 12pm. They make all of their GF items first thing in the morning so there is no Cross-contact. I've eaten their cupcakes, cookies, coffee cakes, and oatmeal cream pies. I have never been sick eating here which is a big plus in my book! I ordered a vegan chocolate chip cake and was told I could pick it up between noon and 5pm on Sunday. At 1:30 while seeing a movie with my husband for my birthday, they called and left a message, saying the cake needed to be picked up. I called back after the movie and asked what time they closed, she said 5, but the cake had to be picked up by 4. Instead of having a birthday lunch, we had to drive from Moore to get the cake and waited 15 minutes while she made coffee for children. I usually hate cupcakes stores because their cupcakes tend to be so dense and on the dryer side, but Green Goodies bakes their cupcakes perfectly. The cupcakes are moist and the frosting is not hard. The flavors of cupcakes vary from unique to classic cupcakes like vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet. I tried a vegan chili-flavored chocolate one time which is now my favorite. Food: For lunch, they offer full sandwiches and then 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combos. I tried 1/2 Grandma's Chicken Salad Sandwich with gluten-free Tomato soup. Delicious! Very friendly staff and I love that this bakery caters to different types of food allergies without making things weird. All of the cupcakes are displayed very neatly and separated in different areas by preference (gluten free, vegan, gluten free and vegan, and regular). The cupcakes are baked in color coded wrappers so you can tell which is which, and the boxes have a stamp on the outside to use as a key for the wrapper colors. Very smart! Every dietary preference has similar cupcake flavors - I chose the strawberry, hostess, triple chocolate, and snickerdoodle. We also purchased a vegan coffee cake (amazing) and a coffee. Very happy with the taste and texture of the baked goods! Sometimes vegan baked goods can feel gummy or overly dense, but these cupcakes have been perfect.
