Everyone there was more then happy to join in on the celebrating the occasion with us. Fast forward 3 years to today, we are back in Mauston visiting family and decided to stop into the Emerald Lounge and reminisce on our first night in here 3 years ago as newlyweds. Not so much with the next person that came in I'm pretty sure she has never bartended before and could use a course on customer service. We were not at all impressed with her. She was working on Saturday night when we went back up there. We thought we would give her another chance that lasted about an hour and we went somewhere else in town. We were able to grab a table in the back, and the staff here was so nice and helpful. Seems like there are a lot of regulars, and we clearly stood out as "not regulars." Even so, everyone was super nice and welcoming. One person in our foursome has some dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating to let her order a bit "off the menu." Food was delicious and really hit the spot. We were technically still on the work clock so did not get to enjoy an adult beverage, but hopefully we'll be back and can imbibe a bit next time!
