Leo's is by far one of Sumter's best value places to eat for quality and for the dollar. Simply put, I think they have some of the best food in town. They're have some of the better chicken wings, wraps, and definitely the best raw chips in town. And if quality of food isn't what you think it is, the quantity is undisputed (they pack the to-go trays!). And if not that, they have the best prices for their food. $30 for 20 wings, a large side and 2 fountain drinks (dine-in only) is the best chicken wing deal in town that I've seen. In addition, being able to get their wraps and sides for roughly the same price as your typical fast food opt (and even less with the burger wrap option) Sumter has only so few local restaurants with the majority being local cha, but this has been one of my favorite places to go to. And if you go at night, you'll notice too because it's like family night there! read more

I ordered right before closing and my wings were HARD AND VERY BURNT when I got home. I called to report it to the manager ANNE and she was rude about it. I would not recommend LEOS at all because they are racist & very unprofessional. I shouldve thrown the food RIGHT IN THEIR DAMN FACE had I checked my wings. I'm pissed. read more

This was the first time trying their food at home we ordered online and i got the hamburger thats it just the sandwich it had lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion and some cheese, the burger was super thin like a school burger the bun was huge so more bread than burger and it is 10: 42 pm now i have been sick since i ate it literally sick to my stomach and using the restroom at the same time since i ate it the pain in my stomach is terrible. Needless to say i am very disappointed and sick now and will not ever eat herre again after this , i feel like it is food poison. to start with food is not as good as it use to be servers are decent and kind. Not all management is rude and unprofessional and racist as one manager named Tina. I will advise the company to attend to this issue before she causes anymore problems. Very unprofessional with employees who work there. If i could give 0 i would, I will never eat here again it was so abysmally horrid the "barbecue sauce" was so pasty it was thick and didn't taste a bit like bbq. Burger had a bad smell texture and taste. read more

Food is normally pretty good but service has gone downhill. They used to be nice and friendly to customers now it's nasty attitude over simple questions. 1 ranch for 30 wings and fries is crazy especially when the extra sauce is $1. Lying about extra sauce charge is crazy too, if you get extra sauces in store they don't charge at least I've never seen it on my check. Not sure who's doing. I don't know why people like their wings. I ordered 25 wings for my little family and I threw away 20 of them. Tastes like burnt old grease and overcooked. The fries were sooo super soggy and under cooked. Such a weird combination, soggy fries and burnt wings. I had tried about 3 years ago and they were nasty but I thought maybe it was a one off, but alas that's just how they are. One of my kids got a burger and he did enjoy that. Not much to look at, inside or out, but the food & service is great. Good sauces over good sized wings (not those mini ones most places have turned to) & I haven't had an appetizer or side that wasn't good yet (try the spicy cheese balls). I love their wings but recently I tried their Philly cheesesteak sandwich & it's probably the best I've had. Prices are certainly reasonable for the amount of food, they don't skimp on helpings. I love wings so I figured I would check this place out while I was in town. I walked away feeling pretty disappointed. The service was friendly, but slow. The place was definitely a relic of the 80s (not necessarily a bad thing) and could use an update. My fries came in a small plastic bowl that you would expect to see filled with cling peaches or grapes for a toddler. The wings were decently cooked but I ordered medium heat and there was not even the barest hint of spice on them. I could have drank the sauce with a straw with no fear. Lots of families which is what they seem to cater to but really nothing to right home about. Let me be clear, nothing was cooked poorly or tasted bad. It was all just very bland. I've lived in Sumter for three years and Leo's has always been right down the road from me but I've never tried their wings until today! I had 6 lemon pepper and 6 EXTREME. I have a pretty darn high heat tolerance for food and never thought any wing places hottest wings were hot enough for me. Let's just say I was only able to eat 4 before my face was drenched in tears and my mouth went numb Those wings are no freakin joke!!! In my personal opinion a good wing is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and mostly importantly all tied together by a delicious sauce evenly coated on the entirety of the wing. Leo's wings failed all the categories I stated. I ordered 12 wings in original hot buffalo sauce with a side of curly fires to go. To start, the wings were dry on the inside and the outside had little to no crisp. The only redeeming quality of the actual wing was the sauce and it wasn't outstanding by any means, maybe even pre made. The curly "fries" were by far the some of the worst I've had, I say fries in quotations because I don't believe they were actually fried, they almost seemed boiled. Also, there was zero seasoning of any kind, nothing redeeming about the fries. My favorite part of my experience there was the blue cheese and the celery. The vegetables were fresh and the blue cheese was actually quite good. I will not be returning read more

My coworkers and I eat lunch at Leo's almost every Friday and have done so for the last several months. Every time I order the six boneless wings with the medium sauce. A few weeks ago, Leo's changed the vendor or recipe for the boneless wings. Today, I ordered them and got the tiniest boneless wings that were so tough and thin I couldn't cut through them with a fork, which I was able to do with the previous vendor/recipe. If I wouldn't have been with my coworkers, I would have sent them back to the kitchen. They were awful! I was so disappointed and still hungry when I returned to work. Please consider changing back to the original vendor/recipe. The only good part of this meal was I didn't pay for it. I won't get the boneless wings again. read more
