Just coming back from there with my daddy and that was just so delicious . Basically the best fish n Chips that I've ever ate and service was really great too . Plus they do serve some fresh hot bread as well . Definitely would return there. Even tho a bit expensive and the music is a bit too loud in my opinion otherwise everything was perfect. Definitely recommand this place

I came here with some coworkers for a last minute brunch. We were happy there was very minimal wait time on a Sunday compared to other restos in the area (30 Mins). The resto offers brunch on the weekend until 3pm. I ordered the casserole ($16), which is 3 eggs with veggies, sour cream and salsa verde. It was delicious! The plate came with potatoes and bread. I loved the potatoes, they were seasoned with some hot pepper which was perfect with the eggs. I wish the casserole was a bigger portion than the potatoes, but I was able to finish the entire plate and it was filling. Everyone on our table was satisfied with their food. The resto is beautifully decorated and it's quiet big. Their seating arrangements has many options including high chairs, bar, booth, regular table, etc. There is a bar in the middle of the resto. We were more disappointed with the service. We were served coffee only once. No one came back until we asked someone towards the end of the meal. They don't leave milk/cream on the table so it was annoying to be served black coffee only. We were only served the cream in the beginning in these cute little cups but that's only good for 1 portion. It also took quite some time for us to be served our food, we weren't sure why because the resto was not that busy. Would I go back? Definitely! The resto is nice, the ambience looks good as well. I was happy with the menu, it wasn't too big but there was variety! Nice upscale restaurant in Centropolis.

Great table d'hote options with choice of soup/salad (duck risotto was cooked almost perfectly, bar fish...) and tea/coffee at the end. It was great to go during spring break coz kids' meals are free per adult (including a huge dessert)!

This place is a 'terrible' addition to the Laval Centropolis restaurant scene. My Salmon and Spinach Eggs Benedict was horrible; where do I even begin? Firstly, my English Muffins had burnt edges, the poached egg was overcooked and not runny, the hollandaise sauce was ghastly (overcooked and turned into scrambled eggs), the spinach lacked seasoning and the potatoes seemed out-of-a-frozen-pack (correction: frozen McCain potatoes are MUCH better). Oh and the menu is really unimaginative and the prices don't justify the quality and dishes. The hubby wasn't too happy with his burnt omelet or the giant oversized bread that it came with. The service was atrocious. They didn't give us any ketchup for the potatoes nor offered any pepper for hubby's eggs. I will never go back - I'd give this place one stars but I added an extra star because the decor was nice and I'm feeling generous. I preferred Pollo restaurant which closed down and this resto took its place.

    Nice decor & original

It's rather a new resto in Centropolis Laval. The atmosphere is friendly and there is a good vibe about the place. The price is $$, the staff is nice but the food is very oily. The drinks are ok but lacks zest My bloody ceazar was too strong & lacked imagination

Je voulais simplement vérifier si la structure proposée faisait du sens. Plutôt que de prendre cinq minutes pour en discuter respectueusement, il a perdu son sang-froid, m'a insulté et m'a dit de sortir. This was my "nice" meal during my very short trip to Montreal last weekend, and it turned out to be…read morea great choice. There are 2 sides of the restaurant: the more casual order what you want brasserie side and then the fancier multi-course chef menu side. I chose the brasserie side, where I had a reservation for a bar seat - turns out that wasn't really that necessary as there were several individual bar seats open; A group would probably have a difficult time getting a seat on a Friday evening though. For drinks, I had a paper plane and a last word. Those are my two go to cocktails for nicer bars, and they pulled them off fantastically (they also knew what I was talking about which is kind of rare for the last word). For an extra nice touch, they clipped an actual paper plane to the paper plane drink. Fun! For food, I ordered the Duck Confit. It was super crispy on the outside, but the meat was super tender and juicy and melted off of the bone. My mouth is watering while thinking about it. It also came with bread service. For dessert I had the tiramisu. I would give it a 4/5 - it was a little more bland than others I've had - not bad at all, but not my favorite one of all time. They seem to be serious about their coffee (see pictures). Since I was sitting right in front of it I had to order one to go with the tiramisu. I had a basic americano, and it was a great addition. My only real complaint is the bar seating felt a little bit exposed as the main walkway through the restaurant goes along the bar seating. Drinks 5/5, Service 5/5, Food 5/5, Ambience 4/5

We started with oysters from PEI and New Brunswick. Loved that they let you choose the units so we only ordered 4 (2 each). We also had as appetizer their foie gras parfait and tomatoes from our garden. Both we wonderful choices. The tomatoes were perfect for the season with a beautiful balance of tomatoes, stracciatella and focaccia. Foie is a classic and loved the grilled bread and pickled vegetables to accompany it. Our entrees were the lamb rump, braised shoulder and butcher cut steak and frites which was the hangar steak. The lamb was delicious and very hearty in a good way. The steak was perfectly prepared and the frites stayed warm the entire meal with their presentation. We ended with their house fav passion fruit pavlova. Light and airy texture with lovely flavor. Nice way to compete the meal!

As a table of 4, we started by sharing the Charcuterie platter Plein Sud. Unfortunately, we dug in too fast for me to take a picture, but it was very beautiful. Came with several varieties of cured meats, cheeses, grapes, fig jam, and nuts. The only complaint is that the pieces of cheese were so incredibly small, like the size of a piece of cheese you'd cut at home to eat yourself. But these tiny pieces were meant for sharing. We asked the waitress for a wine recommendation, but she didn't seem well versed in wine and kept telling us all the wine was good. We were looking for a more specific recommendation then that. Fortunately her colleague was more helpful and had a better handle on the wine menu. For entrees, we each had our own dish. I had the gnocchi with veal (reading from my previous review, it was good but I didn't see these gnocchis as potato clouds like before). The other guests had the steak tartare with fries (fries were so good!), seafood ravioli (looked generous and creamy), and the porc Jarrett. All the entrees were nicely plated and delicious! We ended the evening with the Brioche pain perdu with caramel salé. I thought this was going to be just okay, but it was super good and decadent! For a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was medium busy. But service was a little slow, we were told there was only one chef and she was working alone. So given that context, she was working as quickly and well as she could!

We wanted to try the Tomahawk but it wasn't on the menu so we decided to do steak on another day. To drink we ordered the apple cider. The cider was delicious and very crispy like I was eating a Cortland apple. We were served crispy bread with herb butter. The bread was crispy like toast and the butter was soft. It came with a small jar of baby dill pickles. They had a good crunch! We started with the lobster bisque. This bisque was very tasty. We could taste the lobster and it was very light; not a heavy or overly creamy soup. Pooh ordered the seafood risotto and I took the Dijon chicken. Both dishes were amazing. Pooh really enjoyed his risotto. He likes the addition of zucchini to give it a little crunch . The seafood was cooked to perfection. My chicken was super tender. I could taste the Dijon mustard. The mashed potatoes were smooth and the green beans were crispy and cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly. He apologized for not getting the wine when our meal arrived. Our only complaint was the wine. Usually the wine arrives right before the meal but our meal arrived first and we ate slowly as we waited for the wine to come. The wine arrived five minutes later and the server explained that it wasn't cold enough to give us. By the time I finished eating (because we had to wait for the wine) my potatoes were cold. We finished our evening with dessert. I had the lemon-in-a-jar and Pooh had the Crème brûlée. Pooh's crème brûlée was perfect. My lemon dessert was too sweet. The tartness of the lemon was overpowered by the sweetness of the almond crumble We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent but they need to put the white wine in a cooler sooner.

I do recommend making a reservation on open table prior to coming. Here is what I think of the food: Seasoning is generally saltier but not too overly. Escargot or the snails is yummy. It comes with the option of cheese on top. Dressed heavy with olive oil and garlic. They remove the shell so it makes it approachable if you were nervous about trying. Cheese & Charcuterie board is as what you imagined. It can't go wrong. Rack of Lamb was good. I do recommend highly. It comes with our 4-5 bones worth of protein with potatoes & veggies. Lost track of how many bones because it was eaten so fast. Duck confit was average. Let me explain, duck was average but the amount of spinach I gotten and how potatoes on the plate was good. Sides out shine the protein here. Side of Foie Gras was perfect because I was worried about having too much food. It did come on a small plate because it's a side dish and it was fatty and salty. Intermission was the best cocktail of the night. Fruity with a star anise on top so you smell it while drinking it because it was so close to your nose. Jazz District was okay. Overall, I do think this restaurant site fairly between 4&5 stars. Do try it. I would come back for special occasions and it's not an every night meal.
