I was told by others to go to other tire stores, but my sights were set on Les Schwab. They helped me pick out wheels along with all terrain tires for my Subaru. They have a nice variety of tires and wheels, and they go out of their way to please customers! They were professional and courteous through the entire process of my purchase. I do want to point something out: If safety was truly the top priority, I'm surprised your team was comfortable sending me home 25 miles away on a spare (donut) tire, going under 50 mph, instead of repairing the tire or offering a safer solution. It left me feeling that the main goal wasn't safety, but selling me a new tire. Especially since another local shop was able to repair the tire safely for $20. I appreciate the offer to discuss this with the store manager, but I also believe this feedback is important for others to hear. Bought a full set of tires for my truck. They said I didn't need an alignment. They said "you're aligned." When I went back, due to uneven balding in my tires, they asked if I got an alignment. I said no and explained what happened prior. They complained that because I didn't get one my tires aligned they were not under warranty. Everyone provides really good service. They've gone above and beyond the couple of times we have come in for regular services. Their work holds up and if they can't do something they're very upfront and don't over promise to earn your business or upsell you. My wife is also comfortable coming here because they aren't trying to overcharge her for basic services. Don't bother making appointments. They were an hour late and my car had still not been taken in. I was told multiple times my car was about to go in and it did not. When people set up appointments at certain times there is a reason. Don't give appointments if you are not going to honor them. A half hour buffer is fine and understandable, but over an hour is not. It is also disrespectful when an employee, Julien, laughs at you and tells you that the store hours are posted on the door after you ask for the earliest appointment available--especially when the first appointment of the day is not until an hour and a half after the store actually opens. These workers are 1st class! They are efficent, fair, and always work me in ASAP even without an appointment. They don't charge for a quick tire nail/bolt fix and they even prorate the tires if they were purchased there and needed to be replaced! Best of all, they do more than just tires. Not only was the service less than pleasant, I was quoted double in store what I was originally quoted over the phone. When asked what the difference was... The sales employee stated that he quoted me on a specific type of strut assembly... Which of course happens to be way more expensive than the ones that I had asked to be quoted on over the phone. The next issue came when I was told I needed something that I did not... Paid for it... Was told that they did not use a specific brand and found that to be false as well... The manager did try to make it right later on and I had assumed everything was good after that... Until I took my car to another auto shop for a different repair and they notified me and showed me that I was lucky. I had even made it down the hill because my strut assembly was not fully assembled... Was missing a bolt and a nut... And the one nut that was there was so far backed off the only bolt holding it onto the wheel... That it is truly a miracle I made it down without losing it... Paid for new breaks paid for their install service and it has been done wrong multiple times. This is not the first time this happens. These clowns don't know what they are doing. Came in for a battery check and new brakes. Got new brakes and rotors in the front and new pads on rear. Picked up and have a airbag warning light now. Two different systems not related. This was my second time at this store. Both were to get new tires. When I picked up my car this time I was told that my struts and shocks were leaking, so I should think about getting them replaced. I don't know much about cars and being a woman I am leery of mechanics telling me I need things done that I don't really need. I found this recommendation suspicious because I had that exact work done in early September and this was mid November. I asked him " So, they are bad?" He said that it is something I should have done. Then I told him I just had them done in September and he became noticeably nervous and started stumbling over his words and started saying that the high desert roads are rough and cause these parts to not last as long and they sell the ones meant for these roads. I again asked him if he is telling me that they are bad and he wouldn't say yes or no. He then recommended taking my car back to where I had it done because there was probably a warranty. I left and made an appointment to have my car checked where I had the work done. I just told them that I was told they might be leaking. They checked, sent me pictures and said everything looked good. From the pictures all looked good to me and my husband looked and all looked good to him. My husband then called the Les Schwab manager, Nik, and told him what happened. He was apologetic and wanted to talk with his employee. Of course he offered discounts and stuff, but we didn't want that. I simply wanted him to know, so he can either provide better staff training to know what they are looking at or to not recommend unnecessary services. My confidence in this company is now broken. When he talked to the employee of course it became a she misunderstood thing, but I know what he said to me and how he looked when I said I already had the work done. He looked like he had been caught. And the story of their parts being made for the high desert roads is just a lame story. The only reason I would give even 1 star is because the manager, Nik was very responsive and returned calls pretty quickly. Needed a Full wheel alignment on my Subaru WRX, made an appointment Came in the next day technician Brad did an awesome job, drives perfect and steering wheel is straight and my abs,hill assist, lights on my gauge cluster went away after driving it 15m and parking it overnight. During a recent visit to purchase new tires and an alignment, I was assisted by Samantha at the front desk, who was not only very helpful and courteous but also went "above and beyond" to accommodate me as there was a period of a few days from my initial visit to order the tires to installation, and then also an extra day for the alignment to be completed due to their high volume of customers. Samantha addressed my "wait time" and apologized for the inconvenience, ensuring my "customer satisfaction" was a priority. Don't come here. They will take advantage of you. I came in because I heard grinding when I would brake and they inspected and told me my car would need new brakes and rotors. Said that I had to get new rotors because they were done. Quoted me $680 for just fronts!! I called around and everyone around was charging half of that. And first thing I was told when I made a call for quotes was never go to Les Schwab they tell everyone they need rotors when you really don't. Ended up going brake masters they were able to use my old rotors only paid $285 lifetime warranty. Not to mention less than a year ago I bought a set of 4 tires and within several months 2of the 4 tires got bubbles on the side walls, when I got my break inspection the man told me about the bubbles and I asked why that happens and he said cheap tires when I literally bought them off of them. I won't be returning. Don't recommend. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I dropped off my truck for an alignment when it was done which it wasn't because the tire rods needed to be replaced. I went to go pick it up and my truck had the windows down and it was unlocked. I went in and I asked why my windows were unlocked And he said it's because they just pulled it out however that is not an excuse to leave a vehicle unsecured if you value your vehicle, don't come here. read more

I called and set an appointment to have my 2017 range rover aligned. The guy said no problem, typed in the data and told me it would be $129. We went to the appointment, and they were finished in an hour. I specifically asked if the steering wheel was aligned. The guy said it is good. We left and the car was pulling to the right and the steering wheel was not straight. I stopped by there few days later and talked with a tech who explained that the steering wheel was probably not properly calibrated and they would take care of it since it is under a 30 day warranty. I made an appointment. When we arrived for our appointment the manager, I believe, was very nice until we told him why we were back and what our thoughts were on what happened, then he became very short with us, definitely had an attitude. The tech came out and asked if we hit a pothole or something I told him no. Then the tech came out again and explained he originally set the alignment based on the suspension's lowered entry position. I told him that height is only for entry and exit and that is not the driving height. He didn't know the height changes. We made sure it was at the driving height and he adjusted the alignment. He came back and said the car drives true but he can't adjust the steering wheel, as they didn't have the proper tools/ equipment for the range rover and they will just refund the money. I asked him isn't that part of a alignment? He said yes. So why did they accept the car to begin with? It seemed like the manager went back to the shop and told the tech to do what he could and then get rid of us. When the tech was refunding us, the manager was standing beside him and didn't say a word. They are happy to accept your business, but go back with an issue and they don't want you as a customer. We understand things happen and didn't mind going back, but after being treated this way, we will no longer do business with them and will not be referring them. read more

Called for a quote on a set of tires for my truck. They quote me $361.99 per tire, ( x 6 ) for a BF Goodrich AT KO2, that I can find all day long on line for $281.99. I asked if he was sure about the price, he said he was, but that he doesn't sell too many BF Goodrich tires. I understand why... Walmart is across the street, the tires sell for $281.99. This is the 3rd time I have tried to come to them for service/purchase, each time they weren't anywhere close to the others. I don't know how they stay open. read more

I do not recommend this shop at all. They sounded professional over the phone. Good information provided when I called. They scheduled an appointment for the same day. They also stated that all four tires and alignment were going to be taken care of. I arrived at the set time. They took my car in and stated it would only take approximately 40 minutes from that point. The car was in the bay area for approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes without it getting any work done (I had direct visual contact through the glass windows from the lobby) and no one worked on the car. I asked the front counter employee for an estimated time. She responded that it was up to the technicians. I told them that I needed to reschedule because I had been waiting for almost 1hour and 40 minutes. I also asked if for the next appointment the time was going to be respected. She replied that it was not a set time because it depends on the technicians and how busy the bay area was. I just cancelled the whole service and left. I spent almost two hours of my busy day for this. It seemed like they don't even care about the horrible service they provided me with. Hopefully they pay attention to this and fix the issue for future customers. read more

I've purchased tires for both of my vehicles at the this location and I've never been impressed with the the 'wait' times. Today (May 27th) I went in to have a flat tire repaired; an employee approached me before I reached the front door and took possession of the tire. I was impressed. Forty minutes later no one has touched my tire. The explanation was employees were at lunch (This is occurring between 2:00 and 2:30). I ask for my tire and leave. Since tires don't differ that much in price or quality from one tire store to the next, the best way to impress your customers is with your service, which on two occasions at this location was dismal. (I did go to another tire store and the repair was completed in less than 15-minutes) This location, in my opinion, definitely has inadequate staffing to provide satisfactory/good customer service. read more

Went here to buy two tires for my Chevy suburban that my wife drives and my kids right in but the tires things were fine. Got a nail in one of the tires took it in. They patched it supposedly left their truck was pulling to the right side very bad, shaking in the front end took it home, jacked it up Tire had a big bubble in it take it they were supposedly post to balance the tires and rotate them. There's no way you can balance a tire with a big bubble in it called spoke to Matt said to bring it in and I brought it in and saw the bubble. I asked him how could they balance it? He said they can't so they prorated me a new tire. Supposedly balance time took off truck was still pulling to the right and vibrating from 72 miles an hour to 6076 miles an hour Was very frustrated at this time after a while, the truck started pulling to the passenger side, very hard and vibrating very badly took it in after I jacked it up at home and noticed a flat spot in the tires took it in and spoke to Matt he took it out jacked it up said yes the tires coming apart from the inside take it tire still good I did nothing wrong. I asked him how are you gonna fix this he said I was I can do is prorate you on the tire and give you a tire and I said even though it's a manufacture defect, does it make sense, so I took my business elsewhere. Never had problems like this before buying tires from either Costco or Sam's I've always been treated well and they've always replace the tires but this place has very bad tires and no taking responsibility. Should've replaced the tires for free ones because the tires are coming apart on the inside will not ever go back to this place again is ridiculous. They have people working there that do not know what they're doing because you cannot balance tires. They have bubbles in them in flat spots. read more

It really makes me said to write this review because I like this place, and the staff is excellent, but they are NOT tire experts......please allow me to explain. I work in the mountains and drive up those twisting roads - 5 days a week. It is VERY hard on tires and I told them so when I bought the tires I'll be lucky if those tires make it to the halfway point of their warranty. They insisted they would be good for 65K. I explained that I was there replacing tires that only made it 29K and none of my prior sets made it to 35K, but they were good company reps and insisted these would do what the prior, Michelin, Goodyear, General, Continental, and Hankooks could not. And I said, we'll see and waived goodbye. I knew I was right because I also am also a bit of a vehicle maintenance fanatic. As maintenance records for each of my new cars over the past 20 years will reflect. Not to mention the local Subaru dealer will also affirm for my current and prior car with them. I take very good care of my stuff! When I visited the the Hesperia Schwab where I got my tires for a repair and later for a rotation, (Subaru does most my rotations during my maintenance intervals) the folks at Schwab surprised me by their reaction to my rate of wear and the excuses started I am sorry to say. They insisted that the car needed an alignment EACH time. I came in at 7000 with a nail in a tire, my car did not need an alignment at all! I responded by saying, what kind of alignment do you do to a car that drives straight as an arrow, but has wear on BOTH shoulders of all 4 tires!?! In case you do not know, shoulder wear on BOTH shoulders of a tire is common, well known when the tire is asked to lean into frequent turns as in - frequently driving on mountain roads! Race car drivers deal with it on road courses and I don't think they worry about alignments correcting their wear, they just say that's racing! During my last major maintenance interval I asked the Subaru maintenance staff if my tires were wearing abnormally, they looked at them, drove the car, smiled and said, "Well, we are positive you either live in the mountains or go up there frequently because that is the normal wear pattern they see from our mountain customers." I laughed and said, "I work there and drive up daily". They said, "well that explains it!" Then I added that the folks that sold me the tires say I need an alignment. And they laughed and said, "they are wrong." So I now own a set of 65K Schwab (Cooper) tires with approximately 30K miles on them and they are completely finished. I have no plan to go back to Schwab because they started making excuses back around 7K, so I know how that conversation is going to go, so I just ordered new tires from another company and will never darken the door again. Sad but true. My advice to Schwab.....stand behind the product and stop making excuses when it does not perform as expected. I understand you need to guard against people who do not do ANY maintenance on their vehicle and then try to make a claim, but that is not me........ I'll provide pics when I have the tires off the car with the exact mileage. read more

These guys are AMAZING!!! I was traveling on the 15 freeway and had a blow out close to Hesperia. AAA put on my donut and I drove up the hill and stopped at the closest place we saw. They closed at 6pm and we arrived close to 6:15pm but even though it was after 6pm, they still helped me!!
