ive had bad experiences with les schab in the past, but they've been great at fixing flats for me so I decided to give them another try. I stopped by and asked if they could do my oil change and tire rotation before 3. it was just after 12 and they said no problem. so I left it and ordered an uber. at 2:15 i called to make sure it was on track and they hadn't started it. i reminded them I need it by 3, she said she call me back. it's now 2:50 and no call. read more

I just put on new tires from this store 2 weeks ago costing $650. They told me my brakes were fine no need for any changes. I get home and the next day I hear a squeaking when turning. I give it a week and it isn't going away. Another week it gets worse. I take it in and they say I need to pay $650 for new brakes. I drive to my mechanic and show him the sheet and he say lets to it here. 45 minutes later I pay him $26 for the pads and $80 for the labor and I am back up and running. Wow a good mechanic is worth it when the Lew Schwab store was trying to get me to pay another $650 for 2 Rotors I didn't need and 2 Calipers I didn't need on my 2013 Sonata with only 80,000 miles on it. I went to the manager and told him what happened and his response is that there were two different services offered here. And then he asked me if anyone strong armed me. I was so offended. I can't believe that he even dared come back with that. This is how they treat 66 yr old ladies when they find out they were being bulldozed in his store. Purchasing good quality tires are always going to be pricey, so this rating isn't related to the price haha, but this Les Schwab location is the best! Great costumer service, they're fast, and they communicate with you well what you need done on your car/tires. They're not pushy either to purchase things or services you don't need as urgently. I'd love to give this location a good review, but experienced some pretty shady stuff here. Went in to get tire fixed and was told wait would be 4-5 hours. My husband called to check prices for new tires just minutes after my visit and was quoted a price and told to come right in and they could install new tires in about an hour and a half. So... you don't have time to fix a flat tire.. BUT you can put new tires on right away??? Help me understand this please. Shady business practices it seems to me. Just saying. read more

In the past 6-7 months we have gone here as an emergency when we found a nail in our tire (both times right before big trips out of state--of course!). You can imagine we felt pretty panicked. Both times they have fixed it promptly, and even waived the fee for filling the hole (which was totally unexpected to us--we weren't aware they do it for free). And they've gotten it done the same day. On that front, they've been great. Customer service they've been fine with us--other than we have to call to see when the cars are done rather than them calling us. I haven't had anything else done through them--but I have been happy with what they've done for us so far! read more

Felt compelled to write about the great service and folks at this location. I woke up to a flat tire with a visible nail in the tread. After a comedy of errors on my end, I got the spare on. I had initially taken it to their competition straight across the street. First mistake. I waited in line over there for 20 mins just to ask them how long it would take to get the tire fixed. Second mistake. They told me it would (no joke) be 4 hours before they could touch it, and likely 45 mins to repair at that point. Nearly 5 hours to fix a nail in my tire. Nope. Drove across the street to Les Schwab, where I was greeted right away. Explained my situation, they got me in within 2 mins. Fixed my flat, replaced my (tricky to maneuver) spare tire, and told me I was ready. Total cost: $0.00!! What!?! I don't know if it's my dimple in my smile, my sexy beard, the Christmas season, or just that these guys friggin rule... but they do friggin rule. Amazing service to say the least! I've always heard the adds saying les Schwab would open early and come in late to help you out but never really believed it. I had a badly leaking tire when I pulled up to their shop. They didn't open until 8 and it was just after 7. The let me in and got me going right away so I could catch my flight for work! They will accept jobs they can't do, keep the car for extended periods, then try to charge for all the little things they did while not completing the primary job!!! STAY AWAY. The front desk lady and the manager on duty were both disrespectful when we brought up our grievances while picking up the car. We did not raise our voice, yell, curse, shout, or cause a disturbance, we said "Hey, why'd you accept this job if you were only 50% sure you could complete it". After we left THE MANAGER CALLED ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS (who I guess he knew) TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR BEHAVIOR IN THE STORE SAYING WE WERE "Freaking out" aka LIED. Les Schwab has been taking care of all our tire needs for many years... tires, lifts, brakes, wheels, etc. Yesterday we took my daughters car in for new tires. Shelly explained to us that we didn't need tires and took us out to show us why ours were still good. She suggested we have her current tires syped if we were concerned about additional traction. She had the guys check it out thoroughly for us. We ended up buying brakes which we suspected. We have always been pleased with our service! read more

Customer service is clearly not a priority for this Les Schwab location. After bringing in my car for two tires and an alignment and they said it would be 2 hrs. Upon returning for my car (without a phone call to say it was done-even though they said they would call) they went on to tell me it would be at least another hour! Their front desk help (Shelly) was extremely rude and was yelling at me telling me that it wasn't their fault. That they were waiting on parts for another car. And what's more disappointing they didn't even run out to the car to greet men like they claim in their commercials. I've been coming to this company for years and that ends today. This place is awesome! I have gotten two nails in different tires within the past month or so. They have been so accommodating and patched them for completely free both times! I thought I was going to have to get a new tire the second time, but the guy told me it was right on the border of patching or getting a new tire. Horrible Experience..Ripped Off...First time ever I have written a bad review....Last year they replaced my front and rear brakes. They never worked well. I took it back and they said everything checked out fine and it just takes a while to for them to break in. Fast forward 1 year (in which it wasn't driven much) and I was told when getting it inspected that something wasn't right in the rear driver brake, it was grabbing and not braking correctly. The inspector mentioned it appears brake fluid was probably in the rear drum... I take it immediately to Les Schwab in Lindon who did the initial brake work and where the work was supposed to be under warranty. They tried to tell me I needed new drums ("they must have missed it last time and would sell me new ones installed for another 250", after the almost 500 dollars I paid last year). I said no thanks and took it home. I ordered new drums thinking they were telling me the truth but wanting to save 150 bucks... First I took off the passenger's side rear wheel and drum, after which I noticed the shoes were not aligned in the cylinder correctly. No wonder they were not working, how did the technicians miss that. It also appeared the notches in the cylinder were broke off. I hoped that was my problem... I realigned the shoes(as best I could without the metal notches) and replaced the drum (which I now believe probably didn't need replacing...I will be taking the drums to the dealer and having them measure them to verify they even needed replacing) . I then took off the rear driver wheel and drum, and low and behold, the brake pad fell off and everything was coated in Brake fluid since the cylinder was leaking and appears to be broken...Tell me how they missed this? I am sure they did not.... I am sure I am not the only one that now knows that there is an honesty problem at this location......Stay away from them at all costs.... I am out a good chunk of money now and want to save others this grief. I now must go buy new parts and redo the work myself since the vehicle is now not drivable. read more
