Came by today to get my tire repaired and balanced. I have been getting Les Schwab tires now for 5 years and to many different locations. Its always a hit and miss. I have had good luck here. I love that the tires have a warranty and they are always able to help me fix them. I did spend over $1k on new rims and now 3 years the chrome has faded and splotchy, which is sad and ugly but what can you do I guess? Driving back to Oregon from a trip to California. Had a blowout on one of our rft (run flat tires) just south of Orland. Limped into Orland and Les Schwab. After much investigation it was determined that it would be 2 days for the new tire to arrive. we decided we would rent a car to return home. The staff at this store could not have been more helpful and professional. Glen (manager) gave me a ride to Chico to pick up a rental car( at least a 35 minute drive to get there). picked up a rental and returned home that evening. I took a chance two days later that the tire would arrive when they thought it would. My 5 /12 hour drive from Oregon would have have me leave by 11:30 am to get to their shop before closing. I was contacted by Vanessa several times during my trip down keeping me informed. The tire arrived at around 4:30pm. I was able to drop off the rental car in Chico, Uber to Orland and pick up the car at 5:55! Much thanks to all staff, but especially to Glen, Vanesa, Jacob and Andrew whom I personally dealt with. The emphasis they put on customer service is first rate, the pricing was fair, and it did not appear to make a difference that I was a customer who would most likely visit their store again. We got a flat on our boat trailer and stopped to pick up another spare... Thankfully we did, bc we had a bolt in another tire and we were leaking air fast. The technician met us in the lot, helped us into a bay, and went to work - in and out with a new spare, a fixed tire, and about $100 tab - then he helped stop traffic to get us backed out. I traveled from the Bay Area to Orland to drop off my granddaughter, I was headed back out when my tire popped the first place I called was Les Schwab they were about to close but took the time to send someone to help me the gentleman put on my spare and I followed him to the shop, Unfortunately the whole in my tire couldn't be repaired and they did not have my size tire but the fact that they took the time to help even though they were closing. In 2022 I needed to buy tires all around for my camper van and as I've been doing for years I went right to Les Schwab to get them. I decided a while ago that Schwab was the best choice for anyone that's gonna be traveling around the the north west because if you ever need service, there's likely to be a Les Schwab dealer nearby. And their guarantee is real! No BS. - [ ] But there's a lot more to it than just that. That's worked out for me before and today it worked out again. What happened was even though I knew I was overdue to get my tires rotated while getting ready to go on a 1300 mile trip I was too busy and just set out anyway. I realized my tire pressure hadn't been checked in quite a while and that started to bother me as I went down the road. Big tires, big van, the pressure should be right. I didn't think it was. I pulled off of eye5 in Orland California for gas and dug out the pressure gauge I've been carrying around with me to see what the pressure actually was. This pressure gauge is digital and I couldn't figure it out. Then I googled Les Schwab and found out there was a shop five minutes away, and drove over there. I was waited on right away. In fact, they took the vehicle in before I even got to the popcorn and they got to work right away to rotate the tires. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes, that was on Saturday around noon. They really do it all; they rotate the tires and visually inspect them of course. They do check the tire pressure, mine is different front to rear and they got that right. They visually look at the wheel alignment and front end components, visually check the shocks and struts. And they check the brake lining for wear. They do all that for no charge on tires they sold and today they got that done in under 30 minutes. I guess they charge about 30 bucks to do that for somebody that doesn't buy their tires there but after what I've seen around of the price of mechanic labor recently others would charge up to 100 bucks, but this is free as long as the tires last. -Les Schwab tire shops are not that hard to find. I had a slow leak puncture on the sidewall a couple of years ago and pulled in at Les Schwab in Crescent City, Ca. and they said it was pretty new but shot. " We're going to give you a brand new one,no charge." - The workers are friendly and efficient and they know what they're doing. Great combination I wouldn't get tires anywhere but Les Schwab and at $1200 for the four I consider it a bargain. We get tires from them for our Prius also. read more

Our Trail blew a tire on the freeway. We we're about 20 mins away and it was close to closing time. We called this location and they said they would stay open for us. We had to replace all 4 tires on our trailer. When we got there the techs were on it. Two techs came out and replaced all 4 tires in no time. The remaining three tires were ready to go as well. Saved our family vacation. Coincidentally, about 15 year prior, we had the same thing happen when we were on our way to Lake Shasta. Our trailer blew a tire about the same spot on the freeway. Les Schwab in Orland is THE BEST!!!!!!! Every single person I spoke with was AMAZING! They are patient, kind and extremely accommodating. They helped my daughter with her flat tire and did so with such professionalism! Not only did they have to drive to the middle school where my daughter is interning, they had to do this multiple times to find her car (my daughter is not from Orland and was parked on a side street that she couldn't recall the name). They even had to take the time to walk into the school and ask for her so she could show them where her car was. I was orchestrating all of this via phone from Sacramento and every time I called, I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. THANK YOU Orland Les Schwab!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were driving north and a tire on our trailer blew out. It was pitch black out, and we didn't have the necessary equipment to change the tire on the trailer. Mark S pulled up on his way home, jacked up the trailer and changed the tire, and then proceeded to check the air pressure of all the other tires. Found all of them to be low, and took the time to fix all the other tires. He did this out of the kindness of his heart as he wasn't called by us or AAA so this wasn't even a billable job. Mark gives me hope for humanity and is the reason why Yelp should add a 6th star to its ratings system. I was road tripping back from Oceanside to Seattle when one of my winter tires blew out the sidewall. The team at Les Schwab didn't have the right size or make in a new tire, however they found a safe used tire in the back that had come in recently. The tech put it on and said there was plenty of life left to get me back to Seattle safely, gave me a fist bump and sent me on my way. Bought a new boat in Redding, and on the way down the I5, my tandem trailer had a blowout. I called the local Les Shwaab...An hour from closing, and only an exit away, I called, BJ kindly answered, I stated I needed 4 new trailer tires NOW, he said no problem, we will wait for you...Colton installed all new 4 tires within 30 minutes, I was out of there QUICK! Now talk about professionalism both of these guys along with everyone in that shop looked at you in the eye and greeted you, it was obvious that everyone there enjoyed their job. Hello, I cannot say enough about the level of service we received on Saturday. My son had a Flat on 26 inch rim and these guys hooked him up will a full size spare to solve the problem, until he got home to order a new 26 inch tire. Since it was a specialized size. It was raining like cats and dogs and these guys took care of us - The staff was out of this world helpful and genuine. Sherrie and Darin and the guy Dillon? Not sure who actually put the tire on were all great even when his battery went dead the guy who put the tire on jumped the truck. They are all a great asset to their company and to the community. unsafe brake service. I had les schwab do all four brakes on my truck as I did not have time this past month to do the work myself. I thought of them as being professionals... I was told as I picked my truck up that the brakes would be "softer" than I was used too so that the seals would sit well. after not being able to stop at a stop sign and rolling into a main road, I limped my truck home and bled the brakes. all four lines still had air in them. this upsets me more to think about someone who may not be as mechanically inclined and who trusts these technicians to keep there vehicle safe. I believe they should have better business practices in the means of safety. of all things bleeding the brakes should have been the easiest of all the work I had done and simply one of the most important. will never do business with them again read more

If i could give them less than 1 star i would. 1st we can start with me.. i called them last month and asked if they has a certain size used tire.. they assured me that they had several of them in stock after he put me on hold to check.. i let them know that my right front tire had a bubble and the wires were starting to show.. i told them that i would be there at 3:00 and they told me that they would save a spot.. i arrived avouth 5mins early and let them know i was there.. then after waitting 45 mins they came and told me that they did not in fact have the tire i needed.. so now it was buy a new tire or wait and buy a used one somewhere eles.. if i had the money at the time i would have chose new but it was not in my budget to buy a new tire that day.. so they sent me back home witch was about 25 mins away... on the way home the tire had a slight blow out and had to be towed home.. so much for my day 2nd my father has an accout with them so less than a 2weeks ago he went in there and had 4 new toyo open country tires put on his toyota 4runner.. then about a week later his right front tire started making noise... it was his break pad on the rotor almost to the metal.. now i understand how this my not seem like a big deal but my father is not that young anymore and counts on people to do thier job... the breaks should have been checked during the time when the tires were being mounted... smh.. i just hope someone can look into this because people deserve to get what they pay for. read more

I went in for a tire rotation because I was driving several thousand miles (moving to Colorado) and wanted to make sure my tires were okay beforehand. It took them a while but they got it done and they were nice enough. They told me I was good to go and to have a good drive! As soon as I started driving I knew something was up, the steering wheel was literally shaking if I let it go and the car would pull hard to the right whenever I drove it. I went back in the next morning, and lo and behold they found that my front tires were worn down, split, and needed to be replaced. They apparently are so incompetent that they gave me the go ahead to drive thousands of miles on a tire which needed to be replaced, or they lied to me the second day when they said I needed new tires. I can't help but feel that they ripped me off, or at the very least are so incompetent that they rotated my tires, at a tire store, without realizing it was unsafe to drive on. Just go to the Les Schwab in Chico, or to another company. The one in Orland is either looking to rip you off, or they're simply unable to do their jobs. The manager said he would take care of it, but having worked in customer service before, I know that companies don't actually care about complaints since they got their money out of me. So I figured the best thing I could do was give them a review to hopefully warn away future customers. read more

An hour from her destination in a rain storm my wife stopped for gas in Orland and noticed her right front tire was really low. She found Les Schwab and asked them to look at it. She had no appointment but they got her in and out in 45 minutes, found and removed a screw, patched the tire from the inside, rotated all 4 and inspected her brakes ALL FOR FREE and we don't even have Les Schwab tires on our car! Said it was new customer courtesy. WOW! And I was worried about how they'd treat a woman on the road, alone, in the rain, in need of help. We were on our way home from a road trip and we blew a tire on our trailer in Northern California and so were driving home with no spare. I called a Les Schwab up the road and they fit us in. They replaced the tire, fixed our rim instead of selling us a new one (we couldn't believe it - we thought that was toast for sure). We had a problem on the freeway with a tire we bought at their store in Seaside, Oregon. The warranty isn't as extensive as we thought. The problem was resolved and we were on our way in a couple of hours with no charge for services. We got an explanation of what happened and why. If I could give less than 1 star believe me I would!!! Horrible experience & customer service. I will never ever EVER take any of my business there anymore, nor will I ever recommend them. I kept getting my camp trailer put on the "back burner" and one of their employees told me so. I've had to cancel 2 camping trips now because they kept telling me my hub was going to get fixed and it never did. So no, I do not recommend & I will never go back :) it is worth the drive to Corning or elsewhere! They have better service! read more
