Extremely disappointed, came in for an oil change, and a tire rotation was told to park in a particular lane. The gentleman told me that it was going to take approximately 45 minutes to an hour, I told him I was going to grab a cup of coffee across the street and give him my number to contact me when the vehicle was ready. Receive the phone call in between that time asking if I wanted to change the air filter, which I agreed. Came back after and they told me the car was ready when I asked if they rotated the tires they said no they tried to get a hold of me and they could not? Obviously, I spoke to them regarding the air filter so that was a lie. I asked again how long will it take for the tires to be rotated? The Man then said up to two hours, and if I wanted, I could take it to a tire shop. And instead of leaving my car in the line, they parked it and took several other cars ahead of me, saying they could not express my vehicle sooner I would have to go back at the end of the line. Needless to stay, I was extremely disappointed, frustrated and just downright upset. Definitely don't recommend going to this Jiffy Lube if you are a female! read more

A lot of bs took my car in the guy said I had a small oil leak nothing to worry about! Two weeks later my car overheated took it back to Jiffy lube they said it looks like a water pump issue so had it towed to WITTMEIER need to be said I won't be taking my car back to jiffy lube read more

The service at this location is really great BUT yesterday while I was waiting in the lobby area I noticed a person behind the counter who was wearing disposable gloves came out into the lobby and proceeded to make another pot of coffee, still with the same gloves on. He then wiped down the counter with a rag, took out the trash, went into the bathroom to tidy it up and left the bathroom with some Clorox cleaner. Never once changing his gloves. Upon checking out I noticed he type MGR into computer so I asked if he was the manager and he said yes. I explained that I worked in the foodservice industry and noticed everything that he touched and never once did he change his gloves. This is how people get sick as I explained..... basic hand washing is essential to keeping customers safe. Needless to say he didn't escort me to my vehicle. read more

I had been going to this location for a few years with no issues. This last time and I do mean LAST time, after checking my vehicle in, the attendant told me "unfortunately there is no oil in your car at all". I replied that was odd since I checks it right before I left home to see how clear/dirty the oil was. Full. Completely full. He asked if I was sure I had checked the correct side of the dip stick. Really. All because he wanted to sell me an additive. Maybe he assumed bc I'm a senior woman that I have zero experience with cars. Rookie mistake. Cannot recommend this location at all. Lazy and liars. Went in to get my Driver Side vent troubleshot due to no air blowing. Requested they check my air filter to see if that'll fix the issue. They said some BS about "we don't have the tools to get to this filter because of the way it was manufactured" which translated too "we don't want to do the work because it's tricky to get to". Went right down the street to Pep Boys and they got it out in under 3min. They also said something about my service sheet calls for my coolant to be replaced. I agreed and then they came back saying that it's a "hard cap" so they can't get it off. Sounds like the tech here just want to do basic Oil Changes and nothing else. Save your time and money, go to Pep Boys right down the street. read more

I've used this Jiffy Lube multiple times and had adequate (not stellar) service. This time takes the cake! Worst customer service ever! Why would you leave a customer sitting in their car in 80 degree weather for over 30 minutes when they've asked you multiple times if you can service the AC? Blatantly ignored when the girl checking us in knew they couldn't accommodate the request. With a little communication and caring, you wouldn't have lost a customer. If it were my business, I'd be looking for a new employee. Zero stars if possible. read more

When I lived in Chico, this was my go to place for an oil change and fluid exchange. I was in Chico for some business and decided to take my car to the Jiffy Lube since I was overdue. I pulled up and it was very busy. The guy up front looked like he was a deer in headlights as I pulled up. He asked me if I needed an oil change, I said yes. I also needed a brake flush as well. Well, they don't do those in this particular Jiffy Lube even though it says it on the website. I was also going to get other things done there as well, but I'm just going to wait until I go back home and spend my money there. read more

I have been taking all of my vehicles to this location for many years., and have been very happy with the service. Today was my last visit. I go for an oil change - not anything else they offer, but it makes me wonder the quality of the actual oil change when: 1) They inflate two of my tires to 40psi, one to 39psi, and one to 36psi, while cheerfully informing me that they were all inflated to 35psi. Yes, I checked with two different gauges. Additional bonus: lost two valve stem caps 2) They did a terrible job of washing the exterior of my windows, but most amazing was the complete lack of cleaning of the driver window as it had been rolled down. I guess if the window isn't visible, it doesn't exist. 3) Great job vacuuming, but like I said, I'm there for an oil change. Now here's the problem: Will there be oil in my driveway tomorrow due to a cross threaded drain plug or oil filter? Did the actually use the specified synthetic that I paid for? When corners are cut and a lack of a attention to basic details are evident, they just can't be trusted to perform an oil change. All of the employees were very nice, but nice alone will not bring me back for an oil change at this Jiffy Lube. read more

They were really nice and fast. I think they did a great job. It was $73 when all was said and done because I topped off fluid and got a high mileage partially synthetic oil change. That is a little pricier than some places. The only thing I wish they'd change, was due to covid they've closed their lobby area. I have been going to Jiffy for years and I really like this one since I moved here. I got off work after closing and when I pulled in I saw this guy give the look of dread that any closer does. I looked at the time and realized they close in 8 mins... I was the asshole of the day and felt so bad so I was going to leave and come back in the morning. I recently went here to get an oil change and had a great experience. I hate going to car places alone as they intimidate me, but jiffy lube on mangrove earned 5 stars from me! As a plus, a young man named Pallo was exceptional. I needed air in my tires and rather than putting air in one tire he put them in all FOUR- how kind. if I could give 0 stars I would. The people that work here at the Chico, CA location are lazy piece of shits that want to get paid for doing nothing. They told me that they could not change my oil because I had a stripped bolt on the underside of my vehicle. I checked all the bolts and none of them were stripped. I went to the location in Oroville, CA and they had no problems changing my oil. The people at the Chico location are just lazy and didn't want to take the time to remove a few extra bolts on my trail rated Jeep. I will never go to the Chico location again. read more

Didn't even get service. The dude seemed all bothered that I dared to pull in at 2pm. He muttered something about "We close at 4," and "It's going to be over an hour wait is that ok?" I said fine. Anyway then he spends 2 or 3 confused minutes trying to figure out what kind of oil my car takes. Had he asked me, I'd have told him. Which I eventually did anyway. Then he says synthetic is $79 is that ok? I say fine even though that's wayyy high. He then basically tells me Pep Boys is around the corner and that they might be cheaper/faster. Super duper lame. I could tell by my keen powers of deduction that he was telling me all this not in my best interest , but because he didn't want to deal with another customer right then. Everything he asked, I agreed to. And he still basically turned me away. I hope his manager is reading Also Pep Boys can suck it. I spent 30 minutes over there just waiting to talk to someone before I eventually bailed and went back to Walmart. Which is where I went last time. Stopped in today about 3:45 PM. Busy, but they were able to accommodate our needs. Pulled right in to one of three service areas. Oil change and quick check/ evaluation of my vehicle. Larry was the manager on duty and called me over to the computer to let me know a few additional things needed to be done along with the prices. Needed a light replacement around the license and a rear end light that was out, a few other things too: but zero pressure. I told them to go ahead and do the two lights. Larry pointed out that my oil filter needed to be changed soon and could come back for them to do it or I could pick one up at a later point. Service, staff was quick, efficient & honest. I had tried to pull a coupon up from their main website on my phone. I was having issues with reception & was not successful in obtaining it, they took it off anyway with no hesitation!
