Its a company they decided was good- without any notice or permission to give all your personal info, including phone number to. It was odd and awkward as a customer. These two situations, really sour what they present as a customer service focused company. Also, specifically Alyssa Brennan- she does all the scheduling, she is also sweet as pie until you actually are in need, and her communication over time gets less friendly and more demanding.

He assured me these were regularly stocked items and promised to contact me upon their arrival. After patiently waiting, I followed up on April 13 for a status update. Gary's response: "I don't have a tracking number yes but should be soon." That was the last I heard until I decided to revisit the store as cooler weather approached and my family was reluctant to use a hot tub without proper headrests. During this second visit, I reminded Gary of our March and April conversations. Once again, he assured me of a quick delivery, placing what he claimed was a new order that would arrive "in a couple of days." Two weeks later, on December 21, I messaged him for an update. Silence. On December 23, I reached out again, to which he finally responded: "Hi Ken, sorry I'm out of the store here the last few days and today. I will check tomorrow when I get in and will update you." On December 26, the day after Christmas, Gary informed me that the system had "magically" changed my order to just two headrests of the wrong type, necessitating yet another reorder. Today is January 11, 2025, and I still have no headrests. In two months, this ordeal will mark its one-year anniversary. The most disappointing aspect isn't just the lack of headrests - it's the continuous cycle of empty promises and the complete absence of proactive communication or problem-solving. I had a Hayward Aqua logic panel board replaced in 2018, unions for my salt cell earlier this summer and most recently my LED light replaced in the pool. I had to wait for the light to become available as my previous light was 11 years old and no longer manufactured. Each job was done perfectly. Don actually did a good job maintaining my pool. The reality is that pool maintenance techs are a…read moredime a dozen and Don hates his life and takes it out on customers. PRO TIP: The PROBLEM is that Don is really unprofessional. He really really REALLY hates being asked a question about a solution he proposes to a problem. His response usually is, "I've been doing this for 20 years, I don't have time to explain myself, I can get new customers in 20 minutes". PRO TIP: Don't have him drain your pool. He requires that you monitor the pump as it is draining the pool even though you are paying him to take care of everything. If you don't mind monitoring the progress of the pool being drained, ask for a discount since you are doing his job. Also, best not to have the pool drained when you aren't able to monitor. PRO TIP: Don likes to throw the pool debris literally anywhere but a trashcan. Make sure you are very clear with him what your expectations are otherwise he dumps the leaves in your yard right next to the pool or on your driveway or the street in front of your house. PRO TIP: Don likes to repair parts without providing a quote, then he just serves the cost to you in an invoice. Make sure you are clear with him about how and when he can repair or replace parts. PRO TIP: If you are fine working with a decent pool tech who thinks he is Gods gift to pool service and is straight up one of the most curmudgeonly men you will ever encounter, look no further, Don is your guy. There is nothing wrong with his pricing or his maintenance (except his inability to use a trash can). He or is wife will show up, work their magic, and leave within 5 minutes and your pool will be crystal clear. If you blink you will miss them. HOWEVER, anything beyond the basics and Don can get a bit temperamental. I have a 2 year old son, sometimes my son is easier to rationalize with then with Don.
