Please take your business elsewhere, this company is an absolute joke. We bought our pool nine…read moremonths ago, and our yard has been torn up for 5. Let's hope they finish it sometime this year.   They never show up, and have failed nearly EVERY inspection, sometimes twice. Every failure results in weeks of delay. Failed cause 5 minutes of work needs to be? That'll be a two week delay, at least. I've had neighbors buy and finish their pools within the time it took A&S to complete a single phase. Entire houses have been built in our neighborhood the time it's taken them to build PART of a pool. They constantly send out schedules that are basically imaginary. Their project managers show up once a month at most. Their schedulers apparently can't schedule a thing beyond whatever the next step is.  At this point I don't even want a pool. I just want Anthony and Sylvan out of my life. Update: My pool is nearing completion. During the winter storm, they never tried to prepare the equipment. Unknown to me, despite having an empty pool, the equipment was full of water. So now I'm waiting for months on a new heater, and more repairs. Update 2: Its been a 15 months, and my pool has not passed final inspection. My project manager even had the nerve to ask me to change a review/survey so he could get paid more! Very unprofessional!

Back in May I wrote a negative review on Nextdoor about Anthony and Sylvan Pools (A&S), screenshot…read moreattached. Two things came out of it: 1) apparently they monitor social media and have access to Nextdoor (Hi, Mr Owen!), so if you have any greavance to share - Go ahead and post it everywhere! And second, almost the same day almost exactly the same negative review was posted on here Yelp, screenshot attached too. A&S even thought it was written by our daughter (who is 13), so we are definitely not the only ones in absolutely same sad situation with A&S. So we entered into negotiations about settling this matter. Half an year has passed since then. A&S sent us an agreement according to which for $3200 we take down the negative review and waive ALL and ANY claims against A&S "from the beginning of time". We had our lawyers review and amend the document, A&S agreed, we signed from our side, next day the lights in the pool die (three months into operation), we withdraw our consent. All this time I haven't said anything on social media. Now they send us again the OLD version of the agreement claiming it is the one we agreed on. Do you think we are idiots, Mr Owen S? Next time A&S tells you they have only 5* reviews - they have paid off all negative reviews to be taken down, doesn't look like it will be our case. Take your business elsewhere, so many better companies out there!

I will update again if anything ever gets finished. I bought a lovely swim spa from Spas Unlimited a couple of years ago. We have enjoyed the spa. Noticed a few issues this spring. Reached out to Esmeralda in service. Paid a Couple hundred dollar service fee. Waited over a month for a Technician to visit. He spend about 10 mins with my spa. Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. I truly thought he was either going to get a compressor or have lunch. He never returned. I waited another week to call Esmeralda who stated that they were "waiting to see how the owner wanted to proceed with the repair". I haven't heard back in three weeks. The request for service started back in Spring. It is now almost August. Unsure of what I paid $$ for service call. Absolutely nothing was done. I've been more than patient.

I've been with Poolwerx for over a year now, and I've had the best experience. When I first became…read morea pool owner, I had to learn how to take care of it properly. That's when I met Sam--he really took the time to make sure I understood exactly what to do. He also told me to call or text anytime I had questions, and he always got back to me quickly. A couple of months in, my pool heater started shutting off after just 7-8 minutes of runtime without ever reaching the set temperature. That's when I met Mike. He could have easily taken advantage of me as a new owner and recommended an expensive part, but instead, he fixed it perfectly just by cleaning the inside. It's been working flawlessly ever since. Recently, I hired them for full-time pool service, and the care and attention to detail they put into every visit far exceed my expectations. I've only ever dealt with Mike and Sam--the trust I've built with them and the consistently perfect work they've done mean I have no interest in trying any other company. While I've worked with two other pool companies in the past, I found their service and cleaning results to be somewhat mediocre, which is why I'll be staying with PoolWerx.

As long as I have a pool Poolwerx with service it. They truely are 5 star service.

They are just contractors so they hired other companies to come out here and take care of each of those components. they were too remove the current calcium line first from the rock outline (from my understanding that can bead blasted or another assortment of ways) and then re-stain and seal. But they did not do that they just re-stained it so where the calcium line was before the paint is not sticking. It apparently has a two-year warranty but I have called several times trying to get in touch with somebody and on one occasion I got Letty to answer the phone and she advised me that the company they used for the Boulder stain only speak Spanish so she would call and talk to them for me. But I have not heard back I have been following up for over a year with this issue. There's absolutely no customer service they will not call you back or email you back if there's a problem. So your warranty is basically null & void because you cannot get in contact with anybody. We had them servicing our pool once a week but literally the guy they would send would come out check the chemicals empty the skimmer baskets and occasionally vacuum the bottom of the pool. But he never brushed or kept up with that calcium ring where the waterline is so that ring has just grown out of control again. And I had to remind him when it was time to clean the filters because they had not clean the filters either. So we canceled our weekly service because we just felt $170 was not worth the lack of care for our pool.

He's been flexible with our timing, had a very well thought out pool and construction design (our house is mostly geometrical so we scratched the initial design I brought to him and went with his geometrical design as well as went with his suggestion to have a retaining wall built so that the structural integrity of our pool is not compromised). When you meet Chris you'll notice that he is very knowledgeable about what it takes to build a quality pool. There are many small things that Chris has pointed out that I'm sure any other pool builders would have missed (like pouring the gunite first entrance step one inch lower to compensate for coping, pouring the second step wider so that the overlapping coping doesn't shorten its width and makes it shorter than the other steps etc). We are very happy of our current build (still in the plumbing phase) - I will update this review with pictures of the finished project once it's done! Have already started recommending him to family members who will be building a pool soon and recommend you give Chris a shot too.

We got several quotes and visited with multiple vendors. After much consideration, we decided to go with Waterside. Communication is extremely important to us - and we wanted to be a part of each step. Jackson kept us in the loop as the process progressed. The service that we received was excellent and timely. The project was completed in the amount of time they stated that it would be. To attest to the integrity of Waterside, during the process, our neighbor sustained a minor sprinkler damage and Waterside fixed the damage quickly without any issues. When we ran into an issue with the hot tub, a year after being installed, I contacted Jackson and he personally came out to check on it, found the problem, and fixed it - again with no issues or having to go back and forth about whose fault it was. Our backyard is now a beautiful oasis. The pool and hot tub have been a blessing to us - it has provided a place for my family to relax and spend time together. We highly recommend that if you are considering putting in a pool you use Waterside Poolscapes! Thanks again to Mike and Jackson for making our dream pool come to life!

I hadn't even…read morehit up Waterside on the issue with the landscape irrigation system damage mentioned below, but they hit me up to ask and are compensating for the loss (voluntary, i didn't even ask!). As I'd said below, even with the 1 relatively speaking minor issue, I was still going back to them for any future work. As I said below: I can't even imagine contacting anyone else for my pool system/pool needs. Really exceptional company here. Update: Unfortunately, I do need to knock a couple of stars off. The installation, and equipment used is still WONDERFUL, and done very well, however I have found out that in 3 different places the work they did damaged my installed lawn sprinkler system piping. Worse, this wasn't something they could possibly have not known about as the water supply isolation valve was closed. I've now had to pay for a 2nd job (with someone else) to do all the repairs, and will have to pay for sections of my sodding that have died out as a result of not getting water during this recent dry period (is how i found out there was a problem with the sprinkler system.) I still will use Waterside in the future as their work on the system they were contracted for was still great, but In the future I will follow up and check out other home systems that are anywhere near the location they work in. After this experience, I can't even imagine considering another contractor. My entire pool control system burnt up in a fire. Everything needing replacing, the pipework, valves, pumps, control system, filter, heater.. everything. They scheduled fast (next day). Jeff showed up, did a great assessment, discussed options, and totally worked with my budget. David and his plumber crew, electrician crew, and fence repair crew.. Fast scheduling, kept to schedules, and the work is so professionally done (much more so than the original installers). their selection of equipment was great (went Pentair instead of my previous Hayward system, and I never want to go Hayward again either now). The electrical crew is really where they shined. Very professional cable conduit/cable runs, J-box installation, and cable routing. The concrete pad they poured for the pumps and filter, and 2nd pad for the heater was likewise done fast, and professionally, and just how I'd asked. Will be a return customer for any contractor needs that they cover.
