Our pool began to turn green, so we were told the filters needed to be cleaned. The company came and cleaned the filters, and charged us. One week later and the algae returned. Now we were told that we needed new filters. That should have been mentioned the week before during the cleaning, but that's fine. We bought new filters and installed them ourselves. The pool was still green for weeks until one day it wasn't. We didn't have issues for a while. Then, one day my wife noticed that the debris was in the same place in the pool the day that the company was supposed to come out. The next day, the pool turned green. We checked our backyard cameras and they never were there cleaning our pool, yet we were still charged for services. When we addressed this with the pool company, we were met with a hostile and argumentative response. Even though we showed them that our cameras never captured their employees on the date and time that they claimed to be there, the company refused to put the customer first. They said that the green in our pool was a result of our filtration system and not from our pool not being treated despite video evidence. Needless to say we would not recommend this company to anyone. We had issues from the start, but kept up good faith until we were shown that they would charge and argue for services not rendered.

Before Petri started the project Brennan, assigned as my project manager, stopped by to meet me and check out the pool. Like Mike, a professional guy with solid, knowledgeable answers to my questions. Project-wise we missed a few days due to rain/thunderstorms but things generally ran to plan and Brennan routinely kept me informed of progress, next steps, timing, issues, etc. A really professional guy and an outstanding service provider/project manager. The one "surprise" was a leak caused by a repair company's attempt at a fix ten years prior. It didn't show up on a pressure test and as it turned out I couldn't have reasonably expected Petri's plumbers to detect it. Long story short the prior company had clearly done a shoddy repair job which led to a faulty pressure test reading. The resulting leak became obvious after I'd paid Petri's second invoice and all concerned were confident all leaks had been detected, fixed, and paid for. Imo it's now obvious that the old botched repair job caused most of my pool issues since 2012. Brennan ensured the leak was repaired quickly and, given the circumstances, at a fair, reasonable price. Imo Petri, while not at fault, proactively and professionally managed this issue to quick resolution. The project wrapped up today and our pool looks great, we're very happy with the project and would gladly recommend Petri to anyone in the market for a pool update. These guys are professionals. Ray

Looks like the bond was either not applied correctly, didn't get time to dry before the next layer was added or just poorly applied. I am not a pool professional, but I can now see the layers on the chunks of plaster off the bottom of my pool. I was unimpressed after about 6 months after the work was first completed. Trying to get a response after money was paid was impossible. May be good for pool cleaning, but I would NEVER invest in having them do another major pool job.

We were so grateful that the pump motor didn't burn out! My wife went by our former residence the following Monday and found the pool out of prime. I headed over and found the pool filter basket lid installed backward/upside down with "FRONT" facing the wrong way, and therefore it could not be tightened. I fixed the issue and got the pump back to prime and immediately called around, while my wife let the owner of the other company know about "yet another" of his employees' goofs. Pretty Pools had the most reasonable fees and have done an infinitely better job than the last company. We had zero issues with Pretty Pools maintaining our pool and the house just sold and the buyers have been referred them as well. Pretty Pools also does the chemicals service at our new place and I'm as pleased as can be. They also sent a tech (for a fee) to evaluate our pool heater. The information I received was invaluable and we will be using them to replace the heater. There are other companies in the area that also do great work, but charge quite a lot more and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it. Pretty Pools does a great job, communicates well and always returns calls/emails.

I have noticed with any type of spa experience the best time to go is during the week and in the morning. There was a ton of staff really taking care of the entire place and everything was being cleaned throughout the day. As stated, I really enjoyed going to a lot of the new rooms and to pool outside. If you are looking to relax , then look no further. Spa castle offers a relaxing and unique experience in Carrollton. #girlsmorningout

The updates to the sauna and steam room in the women's water area were okay, but 2 of the water features were overflowing and the waterfall in the 70 degree pool did not work. The change to robes and towel from uniforms took away from the authentic Korean feel. Most people just wore bathing suits underneath but I could see some people pushing the limits with this. The indoor saunas were the same mostly from what I could tell. But there were some touch ups. Doesn't look like the outdoor pools received much of an upgrade. The food at the pool bar too way too long. I ordered a chicken sandwich so not sure what the reason for the delay was. The drinks were pretty good. As well as the Korean food on the 3rd floor. The double in price from the pre renovation isn't worth it to me. It's definitely more of an atmosphere to socialize than to truly relax like you would expect at a spa.

From our very first meeting, their team truly listened to what I wanted and offered thoughtful feedback and suggestions without ever feeling pushy. They were respectful of our budget while still finding ways to incorporate every feature we hoped to include in the design. The build process was incredibly efficient without sacrificing quality. Aside from a few brief pauses for inspections, there was consistent progress with crews working almost every day. Even more impressive, Mirage Pools continued to follow through on every item on the punch list--down to the smallest detail--well after final payment was made. Throughout the entire process, they were responsive, helpful, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence truly set them apart. I would highly recommend Mirage Custom Pools to anyone looking to build a pool or enhance their backyard space.

Mirage claims to have a 1-year craftmanship warranty for this type of work, but I quickly realized that no such warranty existed. Mirage does not stand behind their work and used ground movement as an excuse. Overall, my experience was horrible, a waste of money, and I would not recommend Mirage for any type of paver work.
