I did so early so we could make sure that our pool would be open and usable for memorial day. Service so far has been an absolute nightmare. We were totally flexible on the day of service and the time but just asked that it be ready to go by mid May and I let them know that I was having events on memorial day and on the Friday before. Here is what I emailed Sunset today about my experience thus far. It looks like barring a miracle, we won't even be able to use our pool on memorial day as the pool and chemicals are cloudy and our cleaner is not working properly: "I have called seven times to your office over the past three days. The first time I called on Wednesday to confirm that my service was on Thursday and it would be performed as scheduled. They confirmed yes. On Thursday (yesterday), I called because at 11 am, no one had arrived for the scheduled service that day. The front office again told me not to worry and assured me they would be coming that day, Thursday. Then I called again at 3 pm because no one was there and they said I was next on the Thursday schedule, and they should be at my home shortly. At 5:15 PM when no one had still arrived, I called again and your office was now closed. I left a message on the general number. I also called your "emergency line" and left a message there. No one ever returned my call. No one ever showed up!! Today (Friday) I called this morning and they said someone would be coming today. Then when no one arrived by 11 am, I called again and they said they didn't know what was going on and would call me back. No one did. I called again and the office was closed." So, if you want to spend your time chasing down customer service and looking at an unusable pool for the memorial day weekend, this may be your company for weekly service. Just don't ask for Thursdays, that's our day!!! (Dripping with sarcasm ).

We spoke with Todd first and he was honest and knowledgeable throughout our selection process. He was never pushy, and we appreciated his honesty about which features would be good choices for us and which we could do without. Our project started in late fall and the crew worked incredibly hard to get the bulk of the work done before the winter. Even though the crew was rushing to beat the weather, we were amazed at their precision and the attention to detail they showed. Tom, the owner of the company, was onsite the whole time working hard and attending to many details like making sure that that the pool was completely level! Erich has exceeded our expectations regarding the opening of the pool, training us to take care of the pool, and making sure that our first pool season is problem free.     Beware when having an appliance delivered from Lowe's in the Chicagoland area…read more I ordered a refrigerator online from the Lowe's website on a Monday night since the site said I could have it delivered on Thursday that week if I paid an additional $39 for FAST Delivery. Thursday was the only day I had availability that week, and I'd been without a working refrigerator for a week. So I needed the refrigerator ASAP. I got a notification the day before the delivery date saying that the refrigerator would be delivered between 12:30 and 4:30 pm on Thursday. On Thursday, I got a voicemail at 4 pm from Lowe's third-party delivery company, saying my delivery team would be late and to expect them around 5 or 5:30. Since no one arrived or contacted me by 6:30, I called the third-party delivery company, who said their truck broken down, so they couldn't deliver that day. I thought that was odd since they had to have other trucks in their fleet that they could use to hit the delivery date. (I later found they have 40 trucks in their fleet.) Still wanting delivery that Thursday, the delivery company transferred me to Lowe's, who said that not only could I NOT get my refrigerator on Thursday, they couldn't deliver it the next day either on Friday. The soonest it could be delivered was SATURDAY. I asked if they could refund me the money I paid to have the refrigerator delivered with FAST Delivery on Thursday since they failed to meet that delivery date, but they said I'd need to wait until the refrigerator was delivered. The refrigerator was delivered on Saturday, and the delivery crew did an excellent job. BUT, they too were confused why my refrigerator delivery wasn't moved to the next day (Friday). On Thursday the following week, I called Lowe's Customer Care to see if they could issue me a credit not only for the $39 fee but also an additional discount since I hadn't purchased an appliance before from Lowe's, and this had been an awful experience. They said they never charged me for the $39, which I thought had been baked into the other refrigerator costs. All they said they could do was issue me a $50 gift card. Since I didn't want to be forced to make another purchase and possibly have another negative experience, I asked if they could add a credit back to my credit card instead. They said they couldn't, so I declined the gift card and am now leaving this review about my experience. I did try to leave a review on the Lowe's website with my experience, but they declined to post it. All in all, this felt like a bait and switch tactic, where I was lured in with the appeal of FAST Delivery but then actually got my delivery at a later time than I'd wanted (and not even the next day). I only purchased this refrigerator from Lowe's since I thought it'd be delivered on Thursday with FAST Delivery. If they couldn't have delivered on Thursday, I would have bought a refrigerator from another company.
