He was very patient and answered all of our questions, not to mention offering lots of relevant information that we never would have thought of. We placed our order and the spa was delivered about a week early. The electricians that Jonathan suggested (JMC Electrical) did an amazing job as well. We went back today to buy some additional accessories, and Jonathan was more than happy to take the time to answer all of our noob questions. I highly recommend Paradise Valley Spas, and Sundance-brand hot tubs. We now own a nicer spa than I have ever been in elsewhere!

From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. And everything else listed. This hot tub is relatively new.

I will never contact them again. I have never dealt with a business that charge me before they provided service. They even charged me for labor! They are poor business people who I do not trust. I was treated rudely by both. I could have had their tub almost immediately but I figured if they will treat me poorly on about a $6000 purchase (they were less than Jacuzzi), what will happen after they have my money & I have a problem? Jacuzzi of course is the name brand. I can trust them. I also trust Ed Moore. We were told that due Covid supply chain issues the wait about be 10-12 months. We waited a little longer. Everyone was polite & responsive. Robert, head of the delivery crew was helpful. We bought the J-315 which is a smaller unit. That is all of the space we had. The purchase was for relaxing sore muscles & not for parties. It was $9000+ when I ordered & $13,000+ today. The manual explains a lot but doesn't explain everything. That is where ED MOORE comes in. I visited him a few times & was a question box. Everything is functioning properly. The jets hit the areas I want them to hit. I know at motels I have found some hot tubs only focus on the lower & mid back & not the shoulders.

My husband said the father seemed to be very knowledgeable and honest when he came to quote. We paid the $1000 deposit and the start date was scheduled. Day one seemed to go well. However, from day two until the completion of the pool, their communication sucked. There were multiple days that they just didn't show up with no notification. We didn't hear anything until we reached out to them wondering why the no show. They claimed they had emergency jobs that pulled them away. We can understand that, but we would have liked a courtesy call. We had a scheduled date to get our house painted thinking that the pool work would be done, but due to all the missed days, it wasn't. So we pushed back the house painting a week. Come to find out, Coral Pool said we SHOULD get the house painted first. If we had better communication from them, we would have known not to push the painting back a week. Most communication was through text, which is fine, but this was not the experience we expected since they were so easy to work with in the beginning. Ultimately, the pool looks beautiful and everything seems to be running fine. I am pleased with the final out come. I am not sure if I would recommend.

Louie Mejia was our project manager, and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of selecting finishes and design details, making sure everything came together beautifully. He also recommended essential repairs and updates that needed to be addressed to ensure the final result was not only stunning but built to last. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, we now have an amazing new pool that exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated that Coral Pool and Spa is a family-owned company and that they do not subcontract their work. Instead, they have a specialized, in-house team for every aspect of the job. Every employee we interacted with was professional, skilled, and respectful. We also enjoyed working with Louie's dad, the owner, who was always available to answer our questions and make us feel confident in the process. We highly recommend Coral Pool and Spa to anyone looking to remodel their pool or build a new one. Their quality, integrity, and customer care truly set them apart.

We selected Aqua Blue because they came highly recommended. They weren't the lowest bidder--in fact, we received less expensive proposals--but we believed we were paying for experience, professionalism, and a well-managed project. That turned out to be an expensive assumption. We were told the project would take about two months. It took closer to seven. Construction delays happen; that's not what this review is about. The real problem was the complete lack of communication and follow-through. We were repeatedly told crews would be onsite, only for no one to appear. Weeks would go by with little progress, and instead of the contractor managing the project, we found ourselves managing the contractor. I also expected far more guidance during the design process. Instead, the answer to most questions was simply, "Whatever you want." While that may sound accommodating, it's not why you hire an experienced pool builder. We wanted professional recommendations based on years of experience. Instead, I often felt like I was serving as both the client and the designer. There were also decisions made without consulting us. Plumbing was rerouted, exposed hoses were added, and other construction choices appeared to be driven by convenience rather than thoughtful design. We even had to push back on the proposed location of the pool equipment because it prioritized permitting convenience over the appearance and functionality of our backyard. Project planning was equally frustrating. We'd routinely receive notice the day before an inspection that we suddenly needed a gate installed, a pathway prepared, or other work completed immediately. None of these requirements were surprises to the contractor--they were simply surprises to us. One discovery after construction was particularly disappointing. During our landscaping project, our contractor uncovered large amounts of hardened concrete buried throughout the yard from the pool construction. Instead of being removed, leftover concrete had simply been left underground. Our landscaper had to spend additional time and labor breaking it up before the hardscape could be completed, adding costs that never should have existed in the first place. Apparently, "cleanup" meant covering it with dirt and hoping no one would notice. The biggest disappointment came after the project was finished. When warranty issues arose, I spent nearly four months following up through texts and repeated promises that someone would come out. No one ever did. Eventually, I hired my pool maintenance company to fix the problems at my own expense. A written warranty has little value if no one honors it. To be fair, the finished pool is beautiful. That is the reason this is a two-star review instead of a one-star review. But a pool builder is being hired for much more than the final product. You're also paying for communication, project management, design expertise, accountability, and service after the check clears. Those were the areas where Aqua Blue consistently fell short. If you're considering Aqua Blue, don't just ask to see completed pools. Ask how often you'll receive updates, how change decisions are documented, how warranty claims are handled, and who will actually follow through once the project is complete. Based on our experience, those answers matter every bit as much as the finished pool.

I had the choice between Sundance and Hot Springs, and I chose Sundance based on history. That was a mistake. Recently, the spa's electrical panel failed, which triggered a surge that blew out my dedicated 220 circuits. Despite this being a clear equipment failure on a nearly new spa, both Sundance and Paradise Valley Spas refused to cover the $250 electrical repair bill. For a company to lose a 25-year customer over a nominal $250 fee--after their product caused the damage--is shortsighted and shows a total lack of support for their customers. Buyer Beware: If you are looking for a spa, I would strongly caution you to think twice before buying a Sundance from Paradise Valley Spas. Their "support" ends the moment they cash your check.
