He was very patient and answered all of our questions, not to mention offering lots of relevant information that we never would have thought of. We placed our order and the spa was delivered about a week early. The electricians that Jonathan suggested (JMC Electrical) did an amazing job as well. We went back today to buy some additional accessories, and Jonathan was more than happy to take the time to answer all of our noob questions. I'm spending the next week or so to get all my notes and history in line. I will post the entire, horrible experience I've had with this company. It's been a 4 year nightmare. From initial installation to scheduled care to random maintenance, it's something out of a movie. Tonight put me over the edge. My daughter and her friends wanted to use the hot tub. It's been a 4yr circus with this company. Tonight, I had to disassemble the arm to open it (it was broken at one end and wouldn't open.) Then take the cover off and put it on the ground to let them all fit. Then, ask them to help me put the cover back on, and then reinstall the arm. I travel a lot so my return home and hot tub time is important to me. I also have a very bad lower back, so it is also therapeutic for me. Will post again when I get the timeline, service calls. Had a great experience purchasing our spa from Renee and Dale at Paradise Spa on the Almaden Expressway. Very helpful is helping us choose the right spa for our desired use. The whole process of calling out other subs to assist to make sure we had the correct electrical and pad to set the unit on was very easy to work with. They also went the extra distance of giving updates and then following up to make sure it was delivered to our expectations and performed as they said it would. This is our 2nd one purchased and I'm not going to bash the other company we purchased from but Paradise (Renee and Dale in particular) raised the bar for a great customer experience. read more

Friendly salesperson (we worked with Jonathan). He didn't pressure us. He also let us come to our own realizations of what would be best fit for our preferences than being pushy about his opinions. He spent a lot of time answering our questions very patiently. Even during the pandemic they still offer a wet test (of limited # of spas) and have a private bathroom for you to change. Bring your mask and your own towel! Small parking lot, but it was never a problem to find parking. It is a little strange to get to... and it is labeled with a giant "Sundance" sign, so look for that instead. We went to look in September. Did a wet test later in the month. Decided on what we wanted... then got busy with life and neglected to order what we wanted. Unfortunately for us, spa prices had gone up in the 6 months since we first stopped by, but Jonathan worked with us to give us a little discount. We ordered in January with our preferred / custom paneling and interior and expect it to arrive by the end of April/May. Will update this review after we get our spa! read more

Buyer Beware. If you need service, it takes about a month. I have a Covana cover in swim spa that keeps breaking. I have bought multiple circuit boards as the fix per tech. This time it lasted 3 lifts. 10k cover is not worth the money. read more

It's hard to give Paradise Valley Spa an accurate rating because in-store I had such a great experience picking out a hot tub. However the post-sale customer service deserves about 10 negative stars. In order to help other users make a well researched design, I thought I would give my thoughts to help you before you go here to buy a hot tub. The Good - The in-store experience was great. Jason was very helpful and did not pressure us at all into making a purchase. He was able to answer any questions we had and helped us pick out the right spa. - He was very responsive in walking me through the steps and also recommended a great electrician to help pre-wire my backyard for the hot tub. - The delivery team was great, they did a great job of getting the hot tub installed in the proper place. The Bad - Ordered my hot tub on 12/13/23 and was told via email that "build time at the Sundance Factory is normally 2-4 weeks." - I reached back out a month later (1/12/24) and was told there was no update as of yet but that "he expects my hot tub to be arriving at our warehouse any day now." - I emailed again 8 days later (1/20/24) and he said "shouldn't be much longer" - I finally got an email on 1/30/24 saying that my hot tub has left the Sundance Factory and will be arriving at the warehouse in a day or two and customer service would reach out to set a delivery date. - the customer service team reached out to me on Friday 2/2 to set up a date for delivery. I was unable to take the first time slot on Monday (2/5) but asked to get on the schedule for 2/8. - I assumed I would be the first priority on Thursday as they told me they haven't even set the schedule yet, but instead I was given a window of 1pm - 5pm. A 4 hour window in the middle of the work day is not ideal for someone who works from home and has to move his schedule around to accommodate. Overall my experience with PVS has been underwhelming and disappointing. For making such a big ticket purchase, I expected much better customer service and transparency. I find it odd that they have no visibility into the timing of the hot tub, if that is true that is an area they should look into. I don't mind that it took over 7 weeks to build, what I do mind is that they kept telling me it would be ready when it wasn't. I would prefer honesty and transparency from the get go. Also I shouldn't be the one who has to keep reaching out to the sales person to ask where my hot tub is. Jason could have easily reached out to me after the 4 week mark and said "Hey, sorry your hot tub is taking so long. There are some issues at the factory, hopefully in the next 2 weeks it'll be ready" I would not recommend buying your hot tub from this store as there are plenty of other options out there who will probably provide you with some better customer service. read more

Service from Paradise has been great. We had an issue with our new tub and Jed scheduled a tech to come out the next day. Carlos was great and had a new sensor installed within 15 minutes and our tub was up and running again. I explained to Carlos some of the features the new electronics had that I did not like (our previous one was much simpler) and he right away showed me how to bypass those. Carlos was great. This is our second Sundance Spa. We love it and coupled with the great support we are getting, I can recommend both Sundance and Paradise Valley Spas to anyone in the market for a hot tub. read more

2020 was a record year for hot tub sales so these companies think they can pick and choose their customers. It is not best business practices to go back on your word Paradise Valley Spas! Don't waste your time like I did! Oh and by the way the San Jose location is extremely over priced! I went in picked out a spa. Signed a contact. Put a deposit down. Open a line of credit through "Green Sky's". Beware: this is a merchant specific credit card you could only use it with them! I left that night thinking I got the spa I wanted. Wrong! Got a call from my sales representative the next day. He said their company does not deliver to Modesto or offer service to this area. I told the sales representative where to deliver the hot tub. Talked about that in detail. So now I opened a line of useless credit for a useless company. Honestly I'm thankful I did not buy their products. I can only imagine how I would be treated if I needed an additional service. Already went to the Hot Tub and Spa Emporium in Rocklin CA. Bought a Master Spa..which is better quality and cheaper. Recently I had a fairly complex issue come up which required a number of folks over a number of days, which Joanna was able to schedule with great efficiency given the complexity of the problem as well as my schedule (which is tight). In addition, I thought the price I paid for the service was very reasonable again, given the complexity of it. In the end, (they time and time again) stand behind their product at reasonable prices. Not just one star because the shopping experience was nice. But after that it's a disaster, the company only has salespeople, no maintenance and customer service. On a 15k$ brand new spa, it started rusting 3 weeks into using it. Tech verified it was not due to my water. Other pieces started peeling off. I'm still waiting for the replacement parts (15 months later!!!) and a recall on thermostat, and they again cancelled on the day. I've lost trust in that business. read more

This company is a scam..ordered a new Heater for my Hot Tub.. It was not working..They charged me the full amount up front. I paid..It took months for the part to come in..The guy shows up at my house wanting to install a used heater with the serial number scratched off trying to gaslight me telling me it is new and was rolling around in his truck (Phil) for a few weeks. Then he gets nasty when I take pictures and say No! You are not installing that garbage in my hot tub..By the way on the first visit he wanted to buy back the tub. I turned him down close to two thousand dollars for the heater. I will include the pictures of this complete joke. When I called the office I was given the run around 3 different people hung up on me while I asked for the owner ..I was left on hold for 45 to 60 minutes at a time...I went threw hell trying to get the issue solved Empolyees pretended to be other people that were supposely where in charge. When I called back they would say their is no supervisor by that name who works here. Who did you talk with..it was a game. I asked for a refund in the end..and to speak with the owner. I found out the owner is a coward never wanted to speak directly to me the customer to solve the issue instead he pasted me off to his staff. Would not take a voicemail or email. His empolyees told me their was no one who could help me. The owner doesn't talk with customers. Don't use this company. They are a scam or one of there employees is ripping off people on the side..and pocketing new parts to sell somewhere else..I will post the pictures of the supposedly new heater Phil the installer told me it was brand new..Notice the serial numbers removed from the new heater.. We visited the store and Don helped explain to us everything we needed to know about the choices and options available from Sundance. I have had my Sundance spa for over 16 years and it still works great. This is because I have annual maintenance check ups to keep it running well. Paradise Valley Spas technicians are great and they can do their job without you even being home. I have used Justin for a couple of years now. He's quick, efficient and does a great job. My dog even likes him. I like getting the same guy each time for consistancy. The only thing that is a bit negative is the prices that PVS charges for service. Their hourly labor rate is a little high but they do a good job. I guess everything is expensive in the Valley! read more

Over the course of half a year I stopped into several locations of Paradise Valley in the pursuit of buying my spa. I talked to several folks, but Don stood out as extremely competent and trustworthy and great to work with. The store is also nice, and roomy with easy parking. This would have been a 5 star review, if I was in the end able to buy from Paradise Valley, which I really wanted to for closing the deal with Don, who truly deserved it. Unfortunately the pricing of Paradise Valley didn't allow that. The company is trying to take too much advantage of Silicon Valley, given their almost monopoly on Sundance spas for the Bay. Do get quotes from other sellers a bit further out. I give Paradise Valley a 2 star rating, Don a 5 star, resulting in a rounded up 4 star. read more

I ordered the spa and though the delivery of the actual spa took longer than originally anticipated, it was not their fault due to Covid and transportation delays. Once here the delivery team, which included Miah as the lead and Victor, Hector, Brian and Jerry were absolutely awesome. Efficient, very explanatory, and wonderfully executed. Quality issues: I was encouraged by the sales folks on the quality of the Sundance Spas, so I switched brands to a Sundance. I am very disappointed in the quality. I have had 2 other spas, and have never had as many warranty issues. One issue was a bad heat sensor. When it was fixed, it caused a leak which created another service call. The problem is back months later and it has taken 2 days to get through to their service department. The system times out and forces to leave a number for a call back but that did not work; I had to keep calling. I was also concerned because they are asking for credit card information for warranty issues which should be free. read more

We love our new swim spa from Paradise spas on Almaden! We worked with Sherry remotely. We were able to swim in the show room swim spa to make sure this was what we wanted. Sherry answered our many questions and help us choose the new HydroPool 12 FFPAquaplay. Because of their inventory, we were able to have our swim spa shipped to our home with out all the waiting to have it manufactured like other showrooms. The customer service was excellent. The install crew we're very experienced. Our electrician installed it easily.We are swimming almost every day now. Our health is already improving. The grand kids love it! This is the second hot tub that I have purchased from Paradise Valley Spas and once again I find myself very impressed with this company, it's products, and it's personnel. Jonathan Michaels is an exemplary salesman. There was never any pressure whatsoever to buy and his very kind, compassionate and patient manner made the whole experience so enjoyable for me. I had innumerable questions and concerns during this purchase but never once left feeling like I was bothering him. My dealings with the whole company were more than pleasant and helpful. The Sundance employees I spoke to by phone in Burlingame were very pleasant and professional and the delivery guys pretty awesome too. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I've got new spa from Almaden location. It was a floor sample so I've paid a little less. First, let me give 5 start for Shari, who is a sales person. She went extra mile to explain everything and find the best deal for me. Great job, Shari! When the spa was delivered, we had to do electrical connection ourself, which our electrician did, but unfortunately spa did not come up. We were worried. Here service tech. Justin came in and fix things in no time. He also was so kind to give us crush course on how to operate the spa. Great service, Justin, 5 stars! The 4 star is for PVS in general, because they packed wrong owner manual and we did not have good reference when doing electrical wiring. Also they did not inform me that one accessory is on the back order, so I paid money and now I do not know when I'll get it considering quarantine situation. We bought a preowned Jacuzzi from Paradise about three months ago because we were first-timers and weren't sure whether we'd like owning our own. It's turned out to be great - especially since we could adjust the temp, chemicals, etc to our preferences. The guys at the showroom, Jonathan & Don, were really patient and helpful. They continue to provide quick advice as we learn how to keep things going and model end to end customer service in a refreshing way.
