It's not like a business you can walk in anytime, all therapists work by appointments only. There isn't a receptionist. You can book a consult call, but no one is there to answer a call at all times. Booking online is pretty seamless. I've had a few massages, most recently with Lisa. She was great, I'd book with her again for sure. The massage rooms are in bedrooms, very nicely decorated with that serene spa feeling. I've been spending more of my time at Neuma primarily in Shay's yoga and yoga Pilates classes semi-regularly for the past 6 months. Shay is a wonderful teacher, very welcoming and knowledgeable. As an overweight person with anxiety about fitness spaces, I feel comfortable in Shay's classes. The yoga classes take place in the remodeled garage space behind the main house. I believe the class limit is 12, and when full it can be tight, but Shay always adjusts the class to ensure you're not running into your neighbors. They provide blocks, straps, blankets, weights and mats if you need them. Most students take their own mats, but I forgot mine once and was very grateful they had one on hand for me. To sign up for a class, go to the Neuma website, the group classes and click on the individual teachers names. You'll be redirected to a website to sign up and pay. $10 a class or 10 classes for $85 for Shay's classes.

I've heard stories of other places trying to sell you add ons, memberships, etc. when you come in for your first appointment, but none of that happened. The person behind the desk was super friendly and made pleasant conversation. That was it. I filled out my little form, and sat in their well appointed waiting area for my appointment with Erin. I had scheduled a deep tissue massage because that's the type of massage I really wanted and it was off the wall awesome. Erin knew exactly how much pressure I needed at various areas we had talked about and checked in on me to make sure I was doing fine. (I was doing great!) The entire massage was deliberate and methodical and exactly what I was looking for. She worked out several knots and when my appointment was done I felt like a million bucks. I scheduled a longer session and plan on going back at least once a month. The space is clean, the music is relaxing, and everyone is very nice. I have been to several places over the years; this is one of the best.

I had been feeling aches and pains all over since my last long training exercise that was very physically demanding, and Zach was able to work out even the most hard to get knots in my back and shoulders. My nails were beautiful, and the technician was meticulous and professional. That experience is the reason I drove the extra distance to return. Unfortunately, today's visit was completely different. The technician used what appeared to be a dull cuticle cutter that dug into my cuticles and nail beds, leaving the skin around my nails jagged and irritated. The manicure itself looks rushed, uneven, and unprofessional. Honestly, I am embarrassed to show my hands. When I showed my fiancé my nails, he immediately told me I should go back and have them redone. I certainly do not feel I should have to pay another $55 to fix work that should have been done correctly the first time. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the difference between my first visit and today's visit was shocking. Given the condition of my nails, I believe the salon should offer to redo them at no charge and make this right. I returned because of the excellent experience I had before, and I am very disappointed with the outcome this time. Services Acrylic nails, Manicure

The bad news is that the nail tech performing the manicures refused to accept the word NO when told DO NOT CUT MY CUTICLES. Even after repeating this is not the service I want (cut cuticles), the nail tech acted like they were completely inconvenienced at the fact that they had to push cuticles instead of cutting them. Stupid me, i acquiesced and regretted it immediately. Another from the party had a manicure and not only was it extremely painful when the cuticles were being cut, the results were torn up skin around every single finger. Horrible work. Would never recommend, and will never return.

When I told him the spironolactone was making my panic attacks unbearable and daily he gas lit me saying "in my 20yrs of prescribing this I've never heard of it making anxiety or panic attacks worse as a side effect." Well I guess Im that one. He prescribed a medication that interacts with another medication I am on,I had to bring it to their attention that this medication can cause QT intervals. Maya his MA is rude and dismissive. I asked for some moisturizer samples as my skin has become really irritated with the tazarotene I was prescribed. She gave me a bunch of samples that expired in 2024 and some for Eczema. When I brought it to ger attention she ignored the expired part and blamed me for why I received Eczema samples as I asked for moisturizer. If you want to be listened to and HEARD I recommend going somewhere else. I also don't appreciate how the MA talks about you right outside the door to the provider before they come in,its not in a nice way, more like an annoyed, talking crap type of way. Which for me puts me on edge and defensive. Update: I scheduled with a new provider but apparently advocating for your care is not welcome at this practice as Brenda canceled my appointment because I speak up for myself.

I noticed HealthySkin one day after avoiding Houghton road construction for months and immediately made an appointment for an annual skin exam. They were able to get me in very quickly, and had appointment times that could fit any busy persons schedule. I used to come here years ago when it was a med practice -- the lobby was nicely remodeled; the front desk staff friendly and efficient. My appointment was on time and the MA and the attending PA (Kasey Hollandsworth) who did my examination were really wonderful, great communication and super easy to connect with. They also do injectables here -- the person that does it is there on Thursdays I believe... so I was there the next day taking care of those pesky 11 lines with some Botox. Tamika was great, had me in and out and was expert in what can be a not pleasant few minutes for some. This is my new go to for all dermatological needs. My only (unsolicited) advice to whoever manages their business -- give the exam rooms/halls here some paint/and a little refresh. Looks like they have remained untouched since the Carondelet docs were in here back in 2011.
