Neuma Wellness's space is so tranquil. The bodywork services seem to take place primarily in the main building which is a repurposed two story home located in the charming Civano neighborhood. It's not like a business you can walk in anytime, all therapists work by appointments only. There isn't a receptionist. You can book a consult call, but no one is there to answer a call at all times. Booking online is pretty seamless. I've had a few massages, most recently with Lisa. She was great, I'd book with her again for sure. The massage rooms are in bedrooms, very nicely decorated with that serene spa feeling. I've been spending more of my time at Neuma primarily in Shay's yoga and yoga Pilates classes semi-regularly for the past 6 months. Shay is a wonderful teacher, very welcoming and knowledgeable. As an overweight person with anxiety about fitness spaces, I feel comfortable in Shay's classes. The yoga classes take place in the remodeled garage space behind the main house. I believe the class limit is 12, and when full it can be tight, but Shay always adjusts the class to ensure you're not running into your neighbors. They provide blocks, straps, blankets, weights and mats if you need them. Most students take their own mats, but I forgot mine once and was very grateful they had one on hand for me. To sign up for a class, go to the Neuma website, the group classes and click on the individual teachers names. You'll be redirected to a website to sign up and pay. $10 a class or 10 classes for $85 for Shay's classes. read more

I love Bella body. They are always kind and professional. The facility is immaculate. My favorite LMT is Bobi Jo. She is the best LMT I have ever had. I like to lift and train in BJJ and Bobi Jo keeps me functioning in pristine condition. She specializes in strong people. I have alway found it hard to find someone that can work on me properly because of my size, but that does not apply to Bobi Jo. You will not regret her giving you a massage. Was searching for a new massage therapist since I became new to the area. I found this gem during our 6-week stay at a rented vacation home in Civano. Bella Body is located in the beautiful Civano neighborhood. They have many services & therapists to choose from. When I first came, back in October of 2021, I tried a therapist named, Kait. Kait was very friendly and gave a good deep tissue massage. I had two appointments with Kait. After the holidays, I was traveling quite a bit, so I missed coming for a couple months. When I returned, I decided to "try on" another therapist, Lisa. Lisa was amazing & exactly what my body aches were needing. I immediately booked my second, then third, and even appointments for my husband, and son who had just returned from a long deployment from Afghanistan. I was excited to get some TLC on my body today especially since starting to get back in shape. My middle & upper back were sore from cycling & I booked Reina. So glad I did! I anticipated intense pressure since I regularly get Thai massages. But she was so gentle and my muscles felt like butter as she tenderly loosened all my tightness and soreness. I passed out and caught myself snoring during my session. I chose the aromatherapy which was heavenly. Linens are always clean when i've come to get serviced here. I am eager to return once I resume Nursing School in the Fall-my body will definitely need it! When you enter the home, you take your shoes off and place them on a mat. Your massage therapist will be waiting in the kitchen area & if you are early, you can sit on the couch and relax. I have had two facials here and most recently, the Desert Oasis seasonal special. It included a full body scrub, hair mask, massage, hand and foot treatment, spa shower, and mini facial. This treatment was two hours of pure bliss! Reina was wonderful. Her professionalism and skill were exactly what I was looking for. I'm somewhat new to this kind of self care, I guess, but I felt amazing afterward. My skin is still so soft over a week later. I love this little spa. It's so personal and every single person I have met there is kind and accommodating. I highly recommend any of the services the provide. My 8 yr old son received manual lymphatic drainage massage from Phillip at Bella's also. He has been seeing him for over a year. His health has greatly improved and his growth has accelerated (it had stalled for a couple of years). I can see such a difference in my child. Where to begin...In a modified home in the intimate yet open neighborhood of Civano, you'll see a chalkboard sign welcoming you in. Upon entry you'll be greeted by the aroma of locally sourced essential oils and a lovely soothing space to await your treatment. I always make a potty stop where I see my favorite sign..."Get naked, just kidding this is a half bath..don't make it weird." Did I mention that despite giving the best massages in the history of mankind these guys don't take themselves too seriously and have a great sense of humor? I have made a conscious decision in this review not to mention the practitioners by name and I'll tell you why...because I've only seen one and I have never heard anything but rave reviews about everyone there. In fact the practitioner I see often tells me about the amazing bodywork performed by their colleagues. Ok...down to the good stuff the MASSAHHHHHHHGES. I love this place! I can't rave about Katie and Lisa enough. They are both amazing and I always look forward to our appointments. Simply one of the best spas I've been to! Amanda is amazing - I cannot say enough about how well she is able to work through knots, relieve tension and leave me feeling like a new woman. I've been three times and just LOVE the entire experience. It's worth doing the upgraded services, like the Fountain of Youth or Luxury Body Treatment. Being scrubbed and wrapped up in an infrared blanket is an experience I highly recommend. About the only thing that I'd love to see is a sauna and quiet room. read more

Excellent! My spouse and I went here and we chose to do the Fountain of Youth service as a couples massage. Oh my goodness was it relaxing!! This spa is nice and super clean. The therapists are friendly and professional. The therapists we had were Andrew and Amanda. They were both very good at what they do and used the perfect amount of pressure. The massage tables were super comfy as they have a memory foam type of topper on their tables. The room was a good size and nicely laid out. They used essential oils in our massage as well and it smelt amazing!! I really enjoyed how they had the orange oil also diffusing in the room as well. I am looking forward to coming back and trying out other services they have to offer as well. They do nails, facials, waxing you name it! I have to say I have been to many massage places before and I have worked in the field, this was the best massage I have ever received. You have the feel of upscale spa but the prices are unbeatable. My fiancé and I recently booked a couples treatment here. We were very excited as our wedding day approaches to have some time to spend together doing things out of the norm. We booked the deep heat 120 and desert oasis treatments. Unfortunately the day of my appointment I am texted by the spa to find out my treatment was no longer available and I would have to switch to something else. When we got to the spa we were led to separate rooms upstairs & downstairs. I didn't say anything because I knew that the therapists had already gotten everything ready & would have to juggle a lot to switch last minute, but the person who booked our appointments should have been more attentive. Finally, we both got great treatments. I got a scrub and massage. It was the autumn special. It did not include the facial massage or the hand and food treatments that I was excited about & had read about online. The massage was great, Steven helped my aching shoulders a lot. The spa is pretty, clean, and smells very good. I may be back for a massage, but I'd be wary about booking one of their specialty treatments again, they seemed unprepared & did not deliver what was listed in the description which left me disappointed. read more

I signed up to experience the new grads at Body Bella and oh.my.God! Savannah is absolutely amazing. Nothing of the experience she offers you will be rookie-like. She is a total pro. I've had my last three treatments with her and have zero regrets every time. I have also had the amazing privilege of getting the incredible Fountain of Youth treatment with sweet Lisa. Anne was absolutely wonderful, I told her it was my first time other than getting facials in the past and she sat me down and gave me options to make sure I knew what to expect and that I wanted to continue with the massage. This is a review that has been long overdue since I first visited over 5 months ago! I first came here Mid October of 2019 after having a horrible experience from another massage place in Tucson! It was sheer coincidence that I was able to sneak in a appointment which was cancelled at last minute but was my opportunity to experience a massage that was leaps and bounds above any I have had prior and beyond my expectations! My LMT was/is Lisa and she is incredible with understanding what muscles are the issues and which are only being affected but the target muscles. Excellent communication, relaxing and comforting vibe and was much needed from the extensive training I was doing for a physique competition. Here I am in March 2020 making my review and I am still going to Bella Body and definitely will come May when I have two physique competitions to perform at. Go see Lisa, Amanda, Katie, Andrew, everyone there is amazing and the place itself is so homey and inviting, you may want to hang out for a little while. I have had a fountain of youth with Amanda who was AMAZING not only did she make my back feel so much better she was shared her knowledge of things I can do to help eliviate back pain between massages.
