I have been bringing my truck to this service department since I purchased my truck Had my breaks done they never reset the sensor so for the last year it keeps telling me my brakes need to be replaced brought the truck back. They said it'll fix itself a year later here we are it never fixed itself. A few months ago, my truck started burning oil brought it in for an oil change. Spoke to a man. He said let's keep an eye on it. Bring the truck back every thousand miles. I brought the truck back in 1000 miles. Some rude woman named Kathy told me I wasn't supposed to bring it in in 1000 miles . I was told to bring it in a 2000 miles not true but I couldn't find my paperwork so I left came back in 2000 miles with the original paperwork from the man who told me to come back in 1000 miles they checked it. My truck is still burning oil. It's 2 quart low they tell me again to bring my truck back now in 1000 miles after I brought the paperwork in. Had my truck checked again today. now Kathy is accusing me of not having my oil changed properly because she can't find records. All of a sudden there's no records of all my oil changes. She was yelling at my husband in the middle of the service area basically calling him a liar, saying he didn't get his oil changed properly. I will never ever waste my money at this service department again how dare you allow an employee to treat one of your customers like this? I will be driving to freehold just so that I don't ever have to speak to Kathy again! God only knows how many other customers walked away because of her nasty attitude! read more

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at Lester Glenn GMC. I traded in my leased 2020 Chevy Silverado for a CPO GMC Sierra 1500. While I much rather lease, due to the current climate of the market, the prices were extremely out of budget. When I was looking at the vehicle, I found some scratches on the (L) front bumper. Per the Manager, Jerry he stated they would fix it for me. With that promise, I ended up purchasing the vehicle. To make this really long story short, two weeks went by and I went in to pick up my plates. I asked them when they would be scheduling the bumper repair in which they more or less eluded to that they forgot to put the we owe in. A week later my truck was brought in for my tow mirrors failing, and the bumper. I picked up my truck that day, the bumper on my truck looked spray painted and my mirrors which they stated were fixed, were still not working. I immediately went in and spoke with Jerry who came to look at my truck. He advised me to come back during the day and speak with the service manager. I brought my truck back ANOTHER time to show them the bumper, and again have my mirrors fixed. Ultimately the second time they had to order the mirrors and told me to bring the truck back once the mirrors were in for the bumper. I came back a THIRD time. They put me in a loaner, said the truck would be done by EOD. I came back in and my bumper was not even touched. The service advisor told me prior to coming in, "bumper looks great, trucks good to go." It wasn't. I again expressed my dissatisfaction and once again, Jerry told me he would call me Monday and have the truck scheduled AGAIN for repair. Two weeks went by, no call. I drove to the dealer and asked what the hold up was in which Jerry the manager stated, "he forgot". They scheduled me for Tuesday 11/29 at 8a. I dropped my truck off, had my fiancée pick up me and by 4p I heard nothing. I was dropped back off at the dealer and my truck was no where to be found. I asked my service advisor where my truck was and he said, "let me check its status." Again to make a long story short, they sent it to a body shop and it wouldn't be done until Friday. They were able to get me into a loaner however all of my belongings were left in the truck because I was told this would be done by EOD. Again, no communication. My truck was literally sent away without notifying me at all, and I didn't have my stuff for work. I expressed my frustration again, and the service manager Mike was very aware. He offered to grab my stuff from my truck however, it was my work equipment and I'd rather not have anyone handling it. The next day I drove to their Lester Glenn collision center. Asked if I can pick up my belongings from my truck. Come to find out, my truck isn't there. When the receptionist called GMC, the advisor stated, "I don't even know why she's there". Also stated they would not tell me where the truck was and told me to drive back to GMC. Once I got there, I met with the GM Craig, and SM Mike. Per Craig, he bad no idea about this until I wrote my initial review. Which I deleted because I appreciated his help yesterday. Until today. Yesterday they told me my truck was in Lakewood, but refused to state which body shop. I turned the GPS on in my truck and found it at MAACO in Lakewood. Another cheap alternative done to my truck. The comments today from Craig were that I am making this a bigger deal than it needs to be however I'm spending over $800 on a truck. This isn't their truck, nor their money. If they were going to go the cheap route from the beginning I would of never let them touch my truck. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. Such actions not only violate the trust between a customer and a dealership but also raise serious concerns about the quality of service provided. Buyers, STAY AWAY. This is just a little piece of this nightmare dealership but unfortunately Google limited my review. read more

Bought used 2012 Lexus ES350 with 106xxx miles, I checked numerous dealership and even private sellers, On my first visited, I tested drove and run great! Price here at Lester Glenn Buick & GMC well below market price and KBB prices. I really don't want to purchase from private seller, because don't want to deal with DMV registration nightmare, it's least 3-5 weeks out appointment only. that said purchasing at dealership was ideal and Lester Glenn offered great price. I drove hour and half down here second time to pick up the vehicle. They even repair front bumper crack and scratch on rear bumper, also fix curb scratch on wheels. bottom-line is that I was able to get great deal not exceed my budget. Jim Pfister sales person able to nailed my deal and done very professionally, no dragging around like other normal dealership sales people does. Just want to respond, the dealership was wrong in every way. The response didn't even address the car salesman's behavior?? What he said... What did I do? Why don't you like me? Really? What you did was be dishonest, what you did was try to screw us over. I should've asked what they would give us for my wife's car before we went. It was a waste of our time. They started out wanting to "give us" $3,000 less than we owed for our car. 2014 Ford Fusion in excellent condition with less than 10k miles. So we're not going to do that, then they said ok we'll give you $2,700 less than you owe. Wait.. so I'll pay $2,700 extra for the vehicle that you are selling, that you got for give or take $5,000 less than what you're selling it for? Net profit... $7,700 maybe more! Not going to do that. Pay off our car and we'll pay you what you want. That didn't happen, they didn't call us back. They didn't need our money. They are making plenty of money, doing business like that I guess. So they say, yeah we'll give you a lot less for your car and then you pay for your old car plus the new one. Don't fall for it! Address the issue Matt. Just handed in my lease that I loved! After paperwork was done I asked if someone could drive me home, the salesperson told me no!!!! I live one mile from the dealership I told him. He had to ask the manager, after two minutes I said never mind if it was going to be such a hassle. I've purchased my Buick Encore 2015 back in November. I've had the SUV for just 3 months and had to bring it back to the dealership to get it fixed 3 times. After just a week of having the SUV I was experiencing strange noises and trouble shifting gears. A month later I started to hear loud humming noises. I took the car back to dealership but apparently they did not hear or see anything wrong with the SUV so they sent it back to me, needless to say I still heard the humming noise. A month after that my car dies when trying to leave home from church. I took it back to the dealership and found out that I need a new battery and the humming noises were caused by a part that needed to be repaired. Which brings the total up to $410 not including the gas for all three loaners, the tolls back and forth, and the gas for my own suv, on top of my car note that is due on the first. This is my first car and to experience so much trouble within the three months of having it really takes the joy away. If are you considering buying from here, I recommend NOT getting a older model car. The salesman are very nice. Tina and Bernie have worked hard to resolve my issues. They are both very kind, attentive, and sympathetic. The staffing is not the issue. The concern is the cars they are selling! These past three months with this vehicle have been such an inconvenience! Not worth the headache! And damn sure not worth the money. read more

We just bought a new GMC Sierra from Lester Glen. Our key switch was having problems. We couldn't get the key out. We brought it back to the service center so they could fix it. We picked it up and a few days later the same thing happened. We brought it back again. This time they seem to have fixed it but while it was in the service center it got scratched in two spots on my back quarter panel. The service manager looked at it and said he would have it fixed. That was over three weeks ago. No call. Nothing. What happened to service? I know it's a few scratches but it's our new truck. Terrible read more

Typical bait and switch from a so called 'reputable' car dealership. The excuse of "we made a mistake" does not justify making a mistake on multiple advertised vehicles. Even after my experience, a manager reached out to me via phone to express his 'genuine concern with my disappointment'. The most horrible car buying experience yet. We dealt with salesman Ray. We told him upfront that Lester Glen was the first dealership we visited and that we planned on visiting a few different dealerships before we decide on one. Ray gave us a decent price; however, when we were leaving, he told us the only way Lester Glen would "hold" the price, was for us to take the new car and drive it for a few days. My husband and I didn't feel comfortable with this and voiced our concerns to Ray. He assured us that this is a normal thing to do and that there would be no problems when we returned the car if we didn't want it. His exact words were "If you return and tell me you don't want the car, I say no problem, we shake hands and we part ways, simple as that.". Against our better judgment, we took the car because we wanted to hold the price we were quoted. We left Lester Glen and went to another dealership, Freehold GMC. Apparently the two GM's are friends and both were offended that we were getting prices from two different dealerships. ( I will save what I have to say about Freehold GMC for their review and just stick to Lester Glen for this one) When my husband went to return the car of Lester Glen, GM Lee Delolio approached my husband, waving his cell phone is my husband's face stating that his "friend" Mike, who is GM from Freehold GMC called and told him that my husband was looking there. Lee was irate with my husband and extremely unprofessional in his comments to him. Lee gave my husband a hard time for going to another GMC dealer for a price comparison and was throwing around phrases such as "we have families to feed here". My husband told Lee that we were upfront with Ray and told him we were planning on getting a few prices, Ray of course, lied and denied that we ever said that. Is there a rule that I'm not aware of? It's customary when buying a car to get prices from at least two different dealerships, it would be foolish not to. And just in case Lee wasn't aware, we also have a family to feed and want to get the best price we can for the car that we want. Needless to say, returning the car was not as easy as Ray had stated. To sum it up, salesman Ray lied to us throughout this process and GM Lee Delolio was rude and unprofessional. I would never buy vehicle from Lester Glen and hope I never have to deal with either of these men ever again! read more
