I leased two cx-90's on the same day and was told by the finance guys "Since im leasing two cars In one day" that they would add extras to my car such as dent and ding coverage plus wheel and tire but of course in typical car dealer fashion they decide to be deceptive and lie to my face but never add the coverage. So I have multiple experiences here. The first I took my 2019 mazda 3 in for a repeated issue of a dead battery. It took 3 to 5 trips to the dealership for them to figure out the issue. Their troubleshooting is pretty bad and the only reason they figured it out was because the engine finally said here this is your issue. The service manager really took care of the cost of this which he was amazing. The second issue is that my mazda cx9 keeps going into a limp mode. They haven't figured out the issue and I can't trust taking it back to them. I had a limited warranty for the repair... But they didn't even suggest what it could be just sent me on my way with nothing. Now my warranty is expired and I'm here holding the bag. So I would not recommend going back to them for any vehicle issues as they don't have the expertise to fix anything. The service manager is good but the some of the service agents don't know what they are talking about and it showed in basic conversation. read more

Bought a 1 year old Mazda from Lester Glenn. Had approximately 17,000 miles when purchased 3 months ago. The car wouldn't start without a jump. I was told by the person who jumped me it was most likely the alternator. I called the dealer expecting them to offer a loaner car but even when I asked if I could have a loaner they said no. They don't give loaners, even if it's a brand new car, without being diagnosed. So you need to take a day off of work and sit at the dealer for them to figure out what's wrong. Any other car I've purchased, Toyota, Honda and Subaru, have always given me a loaner car. The worst part was the attitude of the women who took my call. Horrible customer service. I remained pleasant to the woman knowing she doesn't make the policy but Mazda should train their people to be nicer. read more

Terrible service department. So I got my last free oil change today at Lester Glenn Mazda in Toms River. So they try to push the cabin filter which was fine but they completely neglected to tell me that that I have an issue with my brake fluid being bad. I had to read it on the report for myself. Now this is crazy because I have a car seat in the back of my car and have a young kid. My brakes are obviously much more important than a cabin filter. I have the money but I guess because I look young (I'm almost 40) they assumed that I don't have the money or something like that. But shame on them for not telling me something that directly reflects my safety and my child's safety. So I'll get the work done at a different mazda dealership. DO NOT BUY from them or get your car serviced by them. Shame on them and just terrible service. I would rather bring my car to a shady used car dealer then ever go to them again. Besides that there were other issues on the report that they also neglected to tell me. Garbage people and garbage dealership. They also unplugged my dash camera for whatever reason, I'm guessing because they didn't want their negligence recorded. Please if you care about your safety or your family's go literally anywhere else. Response to business response, it clearly says immediate needs on the paperwork. And I like how you say I declined all services I was offered (nice word phrasing there) But you don't actually mention what services were offered to me. I assure you if you ask your employees what I was offered it was only the filters. Also how is brake fluid failing not a safety issue? Please explain that to me. Wow just wow, train your employees better to actually offer the services. I would have been more than happy to pay to have it fixed there. My son made his first major purchase of a truck we found on line at Lester Glenn. Being his fist time getting a loan I helped by co signing. Nice vehicle however, the sun roof is in need of repair and was noted on the purchase they would take care of it. Three weeks later and not even a phone call. Picked up the tags and questioned about it and no one had any idea about it. Also we discover a bad widow switch on the rear, I purchased a new OEM part directly from ford and asked if they would do the install as a curtesy and was given every excuse in the book. I've been in business for 40 years and if a customer is not happy with the end result of my work weather I am at fault or not. I will always do my best to assure the customer is satisfied. I've had this Mazda over a year , Ik you saw my review! It has gotten worse my battery is 8 , when I call to jump start me every 2 3 x s a week !! It's a lemon I'm going to go through lemon law.. this car was leased last September the day I go it didn't start... I was calling tow trucks calling to jumpstart my car! The guy at Lester Glenn .. Patrick seeeny is horrible they all are !! The mechanic told me not to but his balls that's how u talk to a lady! , bc my car wouldn't start a hole year !! Everyday starting in this cold and running it and out ..they make me laugh me they tell me I have to drive it every day what, if I had to go on vacation or there was an emergency and I couldn't get to bc I didn't drive my car one day!! So now my next recourse being the car has not started over a year! But to call a lawyer I'm 61 I don't need to get ready go out and my car don't start !! Theses guys are scam artist!! I have over 5 toes 6 jump start when then car has 2000 miles on it.. what's funny is they say to drive when the car don't start. Plus I had a granddaughter and been taking Uber! Shame on Lester Glenn ! Don't worry I will give you back this car it's nothing but a piece of shit. Four days later had car inspected found out the tires are worn and the brakes were bad in the front call back to the dealership complain he said he couldn't do nothing even though it's not even 60 days in yet less than 1000 miles they said I can do nothing about the tires I will be calling Better Business Bureau and call I will be calling the loan company To complain about the crooked people they deal with bad brakes bad tires are a safety hazard. 30,000 car shouldn't be so like that. Jeep: AWFUL service dept. They kept my car for four hours for just an oil change and the service manager blamed it on me, the customer when I confronted him about it. My wife and I set up the appointment via the internet, off Mazda's corporate site. When we arrived at the local dealership, we were greeted promptly and in a friendly manner, without the usual feeling of being a pork chop in a pack of hungry dogs, so often encountered at a car lot. Dan Deuber was our salesman. He was well informed, even though the CX5 was a brand new model. He happily accommodated my wife's request to test drive it in a parking lot, as the traffic in the area had her a little uncomfortable. Dan answered all our questions honestly, even those that revealed a minor, less than ideal aspect of the car we were looking at. He was respectful toward my wife and included her in all the discussions--a rarity when buying a car. The price negotiation, although spirited, was conducted in a polite and professional manner. We settled on a figure that we were comfortable with and seemingly gave them enough profit to keep the lights on. They did not try to push us to "invest" in rust proofing, floor mat warranties, alien abduction insurance, or any of the other schemes to part a customer from his money that I've grown accustomed to over the years, when buying a car. This was by far and away the best car buying experience to date. Even without the free doughnuts in their service department, I'd recommend them to my friends. :-) read more

I was extremely uncomfortable at Lester Glenn Mazda. My mother and I found the salesman not helpful and rather rude. My test drive in the car was not enjoyable due to his attitude. When I would ask questions regarding the car he would either ignore me or retaliate. I was blown off, it was as if my questions or concerns didn't matter. He would not listen to any of my concerns regarding the Hyundai I was looking at but more concerned over my current vehicle, that I explained more than once I wasn't trading in. I felt as if because we were two women looking at a car he thought he could make an easy sale and push over us. My experience at Lester Glenn Mazda was extremely terrible and not pleasant. Based on reviews over various sites, we decided to go to Lester Glenn (plus that catchy jingle). We went in to lease a Mazda CX-5. Salesman Michael Phillips greeted my husband and I at the door. Michael was conscious of our needs (helping us select the appropriate trim), very friendly, and answered all our questions. It's obvious he was knowledgeable about cars, not just Mazda, but in general. "The finance guy" (Kevin) was also helpful. He explained all our warranty/insurance-y options clearly. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. This is an update from a year ago my car still doesn't start a year later. I have to call roadside assistance mainly 4x a week I went out to the store yesterday and after I finished my shopping my car wouldn't start. Had to get it towed again! This car has been towed at least a minimum of 50 times, alone this week it's been 3 times. The mechanics have no idea what it could be they just tell me I have to drive it. I would love to drive it however I'm scared considering it starts whenever it wants. I have never heard of a leased car brand new 2019 needing to be started/driven every single day. I brought it in for service and as you can see from the response below is what they keep telling me. It took 2 hours to get a patch put on a tire and then the technician forgot to change my oil. I realized the sticker wasn't changed on my way home. At least the service rep called to let me know, but he wasn't very apologetic saying the technician 'might have missed that'. I had a coupon to get the oil change for free... Odd how they honor their dealership coupons... An update... The service tech called back again and offered to come and pick up my car for the oil change. I explained that I was about 35 mins from the dealership and he still said he would have someone come to pick up my car. He apologized again for the mishap. I'm not sure where this change of heart came from, but it doesn't really matter. In the end he came through and said he would do whatever it took to make me, the customer, happy. read more

Poor customer service. We scheduled an appointment to test drive a vehicle at this location. The appointment was made with Kyle, the Internet Rep and with Tom Allen, Sales Manager. When I arrived for my appointment to test drive the car, the greeter went to request Tom for our appointment. He didn't even step out of his office.. instead they assigned a new sale associate who apologized for not having the car of the lot. In addition I had a promotional card for a $20 gift card to Target for taking a test drive. Sorry, they said.. they didn't have any more. If this is the type of customer service they offer before purchasing a vehicle, I have no doubt about the customer service after I drive off the lot... which I did in my own car and leaving disgusted. Horrible customer service. I made an appointment one week in advance to come in on a Saturday afternoon, however once I got there I received almost zero service. After I test drove a car, I waited at the desk for 45 minutes without being helped. They claimed they were "too busy" to help me and actually sent me home!!
