I have alopecia so I'm always self conscious about going to salons but she put me at ease right away. My hair was so damaged from a previous salon but she brought it back to life. I usually come here after 5 because it takes me around 40 minutes to get here, but the time spent here is less than that. They are quick but more then that they are precise with haircuts. I can always count on the haircuts on point. Now here's the best part of the experience: $5 haircuts! Yes that's right, the rarity on the south side is the $5 cuts. They are rare and although they are equal in experience (the husband and wide team), I Personally prefer to stick with the wife as her demeanor is friendly and she knows the usual. But if I need to change it up I can also count on that. It makes me happy to travel a little bit for a cut, not so much the $5 cuts because I always tip her $5 no matter what,. She did and of course I was happy. Parking is abundant since you are across the street from the racetrack, and it really doesn't get used most of the time so of course you have your selection of parking spots. I was happy that right in front there it was, the perfect spot. Also though if in the slim chance that there is no parking (very slim) you can also park going through the alley in the side of the building, ample space for parking also. María consulted with me first, got a feel of my hair, its texture, its current condition and made some great recommendations and gave me an amazing cut. Went back to try "grey blending".
