I was hesitant because she said that one day would be enough to do it. When Gilbert arrived, he was by himself (unlike previously when he had an assistant) and said he would take care of the issues. I asked him if he can sand and stain the areas instead of painting in one day and he said it would take more than a day to do that. Given other circumstances, I really needed to reclaim the room that was being worked on and more than a couple of days of renos is something I couldn't do anymore. So I reached a compromise of him smoothing out some of the surfaces and painting instead of staining. Not what I wanted 100% but it is growing on me. I want to highlight that Rubi and Gilbert are genuinely nice people that would be willing to work with you regarding your project. Generally speaking, closing the loop in communication probably would have prevented mishaps. I can't give the 5 stars just because it is not what I had envisioned, but had the circumstances had been different and I had the ability to give their team more time to do exactly what I wanted, I truly believe they would have delivered a 5-star service. Previously we had somebody else from another company out and they did not do the job properly. I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. But I will say that even if we do have another problem in the future, I know where to go - Response Crew is a no brainer and for sure I'll be a repeat customer for future needs!

We were excited they were willing to drive out to our…read morehouse since our town is near Sedona, and when he came to look at what needed to be done we were so hopeful and happy we found him. Friendly, yes, but quality of work is a no. Communication also a zero. My husbands been doing the remodel on our home and needed a hand to get things done quicker and made a deal that we'd pay per hour. The water filtration system install never got finished and what was completed all LEAKED and had to be REPLACED. So much money wasted! We also were promised he and his team to complete our master shower and instead of calling saying he cannot make it he ghosted us for two days. Beyond unprofessional; at least shoot over a text and everything would've been fine. While doing our master shower he laid concrete before doing the water barrier- perhaps he doesn't know what he's doing? Sloppy work that cost us so much extra money and time & things he had done had to be re-done. The one positive is he did some dry wall work that came out good and we didn't have to re-do. Perhaps only hire for dry wall? I do not recommend. Do NOT hire this guy. Literally contact me if you need work done on anything at your home because we have a guy that is great, will also drive to you, reasonable price, communicative and quality work, everything that the owner was not.
