When I spoke with Ashley, I felt that she was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the conversation. I explained that my move was relatively small and, based on my experience, could have been completed by two movers in approximately three hours. Instead, I was repeatedly pressured to hire additional movers for an estimated 11 hours, which seemed completely unreasonable for the scope of the job. The most frustrating part was when I requested to cancel. Ashley talked over me, ignored my request, and became increasingly aggressive during the conversation. I was told that because they had my request form, they would determine how the move would proceed, which made me very uncomfortable as a potential customer. Thankfully, I had not provided any credit card information directly to this company. I contacted HireAHelper.com, and they ultimately helped me avoid doing business with Friends Moving and Delivery. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with caution. The level of customer service, communication, and pressure tactics I encountered were enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

I am not complaining that we paid for 5 hours total even though the job was done in 3 hours. They showed up at 9:45am and finished around noon. We paid the bill at 12:15pm (email confirmation of invoice paid); so, you can't be saying that I attempted not to pay when I have email confirmation of payment made. Now, at 4pm, you guys called my husband twice, left voicemails and sent him two text messages saying that I did not pay! This is beyond ridiculous!

    Jay's Technical Service was sent by Choice Home Warranty to fix my fridge. The technician (also the…read moreowner, Jermaine) showed up late in the evening and didn't really seem interested in hearing what the actual issue was. I told him it was likely the fan, but he brushed that off and said it was just an airflow issue. Turns out, it was the fan -- just like I'd said. But by that point, he'd already received his service fee handed the job back to the warranty company and never ordered the part. I ended up finding the part on Amazon myself, got it in a day, and fixed it in half an hour. It was a frustrating situation that could've been avoided if he had just listened. I wouldn't use this service again -- it felt like he wasn't interested in actually solving the problem.

My window was 4-8pm and he showed up at 7:45, meaning he was in my home until after 9pm, which seemed inappropriately late. He couldn't get the machine to replicate the problem (which wasn't his fault) so he told me to unplug it overnight and see if it would reset itself. He then took my $100 and left. What he reported to HWA was nothing was wrong with it, which was lie #1. He'd told me to text him and let him know if it worked, which i did, but i reminded him it doesn't do it on every cycle, so I hoped it was actually fixed. Turned out it was not. The third time I used it, the problem occurred again so I text him that we needed to move to the next step. He ignored my texts until I asked if there was a better phone number or person to talk to. He then told me to call HWA, which I've never had to do before. I reached out to them and they said they would email him. I asked to be looped in on the email and to my surprise, I read lies #2 and #3. He wrote that he'd fixed my washer (but lie #1 was there wasn't anything wrong with it) and that I'd broken it again. What?! No! He never fixed it in the first place. Steer clear of this guy!
